I watched all 4 Mario Party's over the course of a week waiting for this upload I even rewatched all the Mario Party 5 content that was uploaded earlier. Its amazing how much foreshadowing happens in those videos like Jon saying he can't be stopped with Waluigi because he got 4-1 in Mario Part 4.
This board makes me feel good, along with Sweet and Toy Dreams. All three of them are very peaceful. It feels like a Board that I would have loved as a kid if I grew up with it

That "you have to pay 5 coins to go to a different island" thing might seem bad, but then you remember that Peach's Birthday Cake (in Mario Party 1) FORCED you to pay 10 coins just for a CHANCE of not getting screwed over by Bowser. Yeah, that's why I don't mind the jerkish moments of 5; because 1 was far more jerkish in every way XD
Quite often in MP5 all players end up with a huge surplus of coins so I don't think a 5 coin toll deserves disdain. It just makes for a little more thought when choosing routes.
I just got to witness the loyalty of subscribers in smaller channels compared to the channels with millions of subscribers.Jacksepticeye, who I'm sure all of us have heard of, posted a video at almost the exact same time that this video was posted. Jack video currently has 200-300 views while this video has 700-800, just in fifteen minutes. Now I'm not saying this towards Jack personally, I love his videos. But it just proves something that smaller channels are more likely to have loyal subscribers as opposed to mainstream channels. c: Also, I would like to point out that I came here before watching Jack's video. It was a joke. Apparently 2013 was a poor year financially for Nintendo, and someone jokingly blamed Luigi. Someone else replied wondering what Luigi would do with that money, and a third person replied with a piece of Mario Golf promotional art that they found on MarioWiki.
I actually like Rainbow dream. The only board that I don't like is Toy dream because I feel it's too small, and this game benefits from large boards. For this reason I'm really eager to see you play Pirate dream which happens to be my favourite!
The bank has its own icon (a moneybag). I personally like that you don't know what type of space you're landing on until you do. Adds some suspense to these boards (especially when you get the all capsule spaces event for the last five turns).
I honestly found MarioParty 5 to have the least enjoyable boards, but best Minigames. The boards just felt empty for being in a dream world. I still do wish they were more interesting, they could have gone so much further than Pirate dream and this one :/. Future Dream is pretty cool, and Bowser's is ok in my opinion. I'd have liked to see a world that crossed over with Kirby. You know, Dreamland, Dream Worlds. Why did Nintendo not do that?
I forgot about Jon's lucky minigame guesses, he had a solid streak going on for awhile if I recall right. Aesthetically, I really like the boards of Mario Party 5... I think 6 and 8 beat it out for me, but 5 is certainly up there, the various "Dream" locales in this one are just nice to look at.
Why do they keep saying the bank has the same appearance as the (admittedly majority) of most of the yellow capsules? It's a coin bag whereas most of the yellow capsules are two coins.
I'm curious why the intro at the beginning was included, especially since it kinda drags on for a while, and why there wasn't an Endslate to the video.
It's one of those little things you might miss, but the intro is showing what board they will be playing on. I expect them to do that for all the boards' first parts now.
There's actually a platformer game that's completely voice controlled (like random shouting and not voice commands). I kinda wanna see Chugga play it but at the same time he'd probably break the sound barrier while playing.
