Didnt she have to take the bumper off? That's what I have to do with mine. My son and I were halfway done taking bumper off and it started to rain. Ugh
Both of our bulbs went out at roughly the same time. Thanks to this video, we replaced them both without removing bumpers or fuse boxes. Like some other commenters, the metal spring wire was also different for us than in the video, and quite troublesome to click back into place. Use a screwdriver if you can to push it back in. It takes a bit of fidgeting. For the driver's side, we only had to move the battery out of the way a bit. Disconnect the black pole and the brace to shift the battery. No need to remove the bumper or fuse box, unless you have massive hands. We weren't looking forward to the metal spring, but lucky for us, it jumped back into place much easier than on the passenger's side. All in all, each light took us maybe 15-20 minutes.
Bro your genuinely the goat. All these other goofs had like 10 min long vids and I couldn’t see what they were doing. You had the camera set up so we could see what to do. You deserve everything in life my friend.

Thank you for this tutorial...I just changed mine in the dark 20 minutes ago, using my cell phone flashlight! You just got yourself a new subbie!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
If you were looking to the easiest, shortest yet most comprehensive way to change those headlight bulbs, congratulations! Look for nothing else. Do not even think about dismounting your front… stop that madness! See this video and do your own headlight bulb change. Thanks Maestro!
Thank you so much for this! Though the wire clips in my case were different so I had to figure out how can I loosen and then tighten it back, but as an amateur I could easily replace the bulb with your guidance! 🙂
I did mine on the passenger (left) side earlier today and this video helped very much. The fuse box was a much greater obstruction than the battery, though I think my battery may be smaller than the one shown here. A very fiddly job.
People thumbs this video down because their wondering how to get to the lightbulb compartment since it’s a tight squeeze .we’d like to see how it is you moved everything around the headlight compartment to get to it .I’m having trouble getting to because I have a 2007 Toyota Yaris and it’s a super tight squeeze to get to the lightbulb .thanks
Clear, close-ups, quiet, like watching an expert - yeah, the battery on rhd cars is in the way, but slackening the two nuts atop the retaining bar, and you can shuffle it back a bit, enough to get a good view, and even my sausage-fingers could get in there and do the job. Tip - do the driver's (rhd) side first, then you're prepped for the (slightly) trickier passenger side. Always replace in pairs - the latest bulbs are "200%" brighter than the old type (sez Halfords). Highly recommended - bookmark this page.

@@screwsnutsandbolts Thanks :) But no, I mean the side headlights, which the manual calls position or parking lights, next to the main headlight units, not the side indicators. Would the Osram W5Ws be the correct bulbs?
@@screwsnutsandbolts Yes, they are :) The handbook called them 5Ws, but every automotive site I looked on said W5Ws. There are a LOT of them on the market. I’ve had this car since 2008, and it was almost 3 yrs old then. Only one side light bulb has ever blown, and it was replaced by my garage (£15 if you please) about 2 yrs ago.
