Both of our bulbs went out at roughly the same time. Thanks to this video, we replaced them both without removing bumpers or fuse boxes.
Like some other commenters, the metal spring wire was also different for us than in the video, and quite troublesome to click back into place.
Use a screwdriver if you can to push it back in. It takes a bit of fidgeting.
For the driver's side, we only had to move the battery out of the way a bit.
Disconnect the black pole and the brace to shift the battery.
No need to remove the bumper or fuse box, unless you have massive hands.
We weren't looking forward to the metal spring, but lucky for us, it jumped back into place much easier than on the passenger's side.
All in all, each light took us maybe 15-20 minutes.

😂God Bless you.i bought my car not Long after its last inspection. Reg light on passenger bulb went out. Went on u tube and saw alot of vids on changing the bulb. Ran across yours. I'm thinking it can't be that easy why would everyone else do all that other mess. Well I'm so is due in a week couldn't put if off any longer. Looked you back up. Disconnected the battery and went at it. I had more crap in the way but praise God it worked. Took 15 min. Wouldn't have taken that long but somehow the first time I got the bulb in crooked. Hardest part was getting the boot off the bulb. I hope I got it on sufficiently. I can't thank you enough🎉

Clear, close-ups, quiet, like watching an expert - yeah, the battery on rhd cars is in the way, but slackening the two nuts atop the retaining bar, and you can shuffle it back a bit, enough to get a good view, and even my sausage-fingers could get in there and do the job. Tip - do the driver's (rhd) side first, then you're prepped for the (slightly) trickier passenger side. Always replace in pairs - the latest bulbs are "200%" brighter than the old type (sez Halfords). Highly recommended - bookmark this page.

I’ve had this car since 2008, and it was almost 3 yrs old then. Only one side light bulb has ever blown, and it was replaced by my garage (£15 if you please) about 2 yrs ago.
