Thank you so much for your videos Gabriel! 4 months ago I was feeling completely at a loss and didn’t know where to start with all the technology for the videos. I watched many of your videos and went ahead and got the Audio technica mic with the field recorder as you advised. It’s a bit pricey if you’re starting out (i think $600 for audio all in) but oh so worth it. The sound is great and I really think the sound is key if you want your videos to be professional. Huge learning curve when starting a RUclips channel and I’m grateful for you for breaking it down and making it easier for beginners. I got a couple videos posted already and I truly don’t think I’d arrived at this quality on my own. Thank you!!!
Hey :) Thank you for. this comment and your kind words. I am super happy to hear that my videos helped you and you are achieving great results with my recommendations. Some investments seem pricey, but after you feel the difference in quality and ease of use, you understand fast why that was a good investment :) Thank you, and I congratulate you on your channel :)
I love these recommendations. I've been using the ZV-E1 (a step above the E10) and have had fantastic results. Coincidentally, I own the 16mm Sigma 1.4 prime, but 16mm is too wide on my full-frame cameras, so I opt to shoot at 24mm. However, the 16mm Sigma on an APS-C sensor like the ZV-E10 results in a 24mm image on a full-frame camera- basically the same setup.
Hello! Yeah, it's pretty much the same. And you can achieve incredible results with 24mm on FF. The ZV-E1 is a great camera. If you use it at its maximum capacity, the results are amazing. I tested it and I really like it :)
@@GabrielVIP ordered 90 % of the kit today. Minus the mic equipment since I already have a mic. Can't wait to put it together. I am looking forward to seeing more of your content.
I just got the Sony ZV-E10 II and the Sigma 16mm combo, and its as amazing as everyone says. Used the settings that Gabriel used in one of his other videos and its perfect.
I love you Man! Thank you soo much. Just cam e across your channel yesterday and I've been hooked. So much to learn. Curious, Do you offer 1:1 coaching to help plug get things dialed in faster?
I got the At 875R off your recommendation and really like it. I want to build a run and gun setup where I have audio capture from both the shotgun mic and wireless dji mic 2. How would you do that?
Hey! Glad you like it. It's an excellent mic. To record with the AT875r on a run and gun I will use a Zoom F3 attached to the rig. In one input I will connect the mic and the DJI having already 32-bit float, I will just let it record internally. Do you think about something else?
@@GabrielVIP I was debating that, the dji mic 2 records 32bit float to the transmitter as well and I'm thinking of getting the new tascam fr-av2 since that does timecodes so then I wouldn't have to sync in post. This would let me do both interview and ambient audio for documentary/street videos
Hey bud. Out of curiosity, i use this camera for my podcasts as we talk through Zoom meetings...but zoom lowers the image quite a bit and the recordings you get from Zoom after meeting is done is awful. All the quality of the image is gone. Do you have suggestions for getting better video out of zoom meetings?
Hey! Zoom has its own recording system. I don't think it's something you can do about it. Maybe move the sessions to a platform like Riverside.fm If your camera delivers great quality on your PC, the recording it's all up to the ZOOM. Or, I am not 100% sure if you can also stream your image to the OBS and record yourself in OBS. I need to check this!
You will need to save for Atleast 2 years to get that camera in my country Can you do a video of under a 100 dollars? For us who don't have money.. But have a passion to start I have an iPhone xsmax.. What's the best video rig for the smart phone? I really want to get that camera But It is a pain i can't afford yet..
Hy man! Sorry to hear that. But if you have a passion and want to create, you don't need any rig. Just use your phone and find a spot where you have great natural light. The light is more important that the phone or the rig. Use your phone and try to add great light. This is the key!
I checked out your channel, and you already have a ton of gear! Lights, good audio rig, etc. The camera on the XS Max isn't the most powerful, and I notice a lot of noise in your videos, but the room is always pretty dark when that's happening. Ring lights are not the best soft diffused lighting. If you looked into getting more soft daylight (5600k) lights with diffusion, I think it would go a long way. Also you need a bit more focus on the type of content you're providing ad why people should subscribe
Your RUclips videos are not only informative and excellent, but also filled with passion in your presentations. Keep up the great work!

Do you think connecting the microphone to an external mic like a zoom h4n would be a significant improvement over using the zve-10 pre amps? Thanks!
Hey! If you use an XLR mic, yes! If you use the Videomic GO II it will be almost the same. It’s better with a USB cable.
Quick question please Gabriel - which teleprompter do you recommend? Ulanzi (model) or Elgato?
Hey! I use Ulanzi, but you must use a phone as a display. Elgato is expensive but has its own display. Both are great but it's a matter of budget :D
@@GabrielVIP Thanks Gabriel I will check both out =)
how close is the camer to you in your main shot ?
Hey! About 1.5 feet. Watch this video to understand the distances and lenses: ruclips.net/video/eV5zeYnmFN4/видео.html
