Hey! I never used it. But it has a big crop on the image when you shoot 4k. And Canon when it comes to ISO and noise it's worst than Sony. It is cheaper but... if I had to choose I prefer to save a little bit more and go with Sony. If you like it, clearly you can shoot a talking head video with it. That's not a problem, but I always prefer to save a little bit more and go with something better.

Hey! If you don't need those extra features, yes, it's better to keep the MK-I I honestly don't do that. It will not make the image worse but why to do that? You will not see a big difference. If you just want to have a smaller resolution in the end it's ok, but today many people are watching on TVs, and many of them are 4k. I don't see the point in doing that. If you have a specific reason... that's ok.

Hey! This is tricky :)) If you record with noise cancellation and don't like something, that's it! You can't change anything. But, if you worm a little bit and apply noise cancelation when editing your videos, you can choose if you need to apply more or less. In my opinion, it's better to record without and apply it at the editing step but it's extra work to do.

If your audio jack it's stereo and uses a stereo adapter, yes! It's OK :)

Hy! The Shure SM58 needs a preamp with around 50dB of gain to accurately capture sound. This audio interface has 58dB so... it will work perfectly. I don't have one to test but if I read the specifications, it is ok.

Hello! For live calls, you need live processing. I use Rodecaster DUO and with that, you can add EQ, Compression, and other things Live. Also, you can find some audio interfaces that offer some live processing through software. But you need a device that can Live process the audio.

Hey! I don’t shoot with my iPhone but you can eliminate the red tones at the editing step or find a great app to shoot where you can set the white balance manually. This is the drawback when shooting with a smartphone.
