Really like your content. I’m struggling to understand the recording process. Do you connect your camera to your laptop? Do you record the audio to your laptop? What software do you use to record the video and audio? I’ve been told to record audio to laptop AND record to my camera (scratch audio?) to help synch the video and laptop audio. I have a smb7, vocaster2, iPhone or dslr.
Hello. I record the video on camera on the SD card. The audio is recorded on my laptop on Adobe Audition. I process the audio there and sync it with the video in Davinci Resolve where I edit the video. I hope it helps 🤗🙋🏻♂️
@@GabrielVIP Thanks in advance! I recently started a new RUclips channel, and your videos have been a tremendous help. I truly appreciate the simple, clear, and easy way you explain all your concepts. Take care, and happy holidays!
Hey! Yes! The software will sync your external audio with the audio that’s already in sync from the camera. After you sync, you can mute the audio from the camera. The internal audio it’s not important to have quality but you need it as it is.
Hello for RUclips talking head videos would the DJI Mic Mini or the DJI Microhphone 2 be a good microphone option ? I have the Rode PodMic and the Zoom F3 but for simplicity was wondering if those two microphones would be a good option ?
Hey! You can use it but I don’t recommend it. These are omnidirectional mics and will pick up a lot of reverb and noise around you. And the noise cancellation it’s not that good. (at least I don’t like it) Even if it's a little bit more work with what you have, the f3 and your mic are much better than any wireless system :)
What picture profile do you record in? I like the idea of using SLOG3 for colour grading. however the base iso is 500. I also have the 16mm 1.4 sigma lens.
Hey! I don’t use any PP. I keep it OFF. I explained everything here: Boost Your ZV-E10 Video Quality: Here's How ruclips.net/video/xojrJXPlrmg/видео.html
Hi Gabriel. What is your opinion and recommendation as well, about using pp for video projects with zv e-10? Some say cine is same quality as s-log2, some are recommending only creative style.
Hey! I don’t use PP with ZV-E10. You have only 8-bit footage. For talking head video in my opinion it’s a waste of time. If you shoot outside and want a little Bit more dynamic range, yes! But for talking head videos… I don’t like it.
I have two options to buy from. Zoom H1n or F1. which one do you suggest me and why? Mic i am planning to use either Behringer B-1 or Boya PV-1000 with it.
Hey! I have the H1n. I don’t like the preamp noise 😔 I never tested the F1 and the mics so… it’s hard to give you good advice. Search and see if you find a comparison for the preamps.
I have the latest H1N and the previous version as well. In my experience, the audio quality is pretty good and so as long as you are aware of the limitations, they should work
Hi Gabriel, another great video . I have the same Godox ES45 buy don’t manage to get the same warmth as you do. Would you be willing to look at a photo of my set up please and give me your verdict? Jim James aka the unnoticed entrepreneur podcast host. A topic for a show too I think.
@@justinorodriguez I bought a diffuser on Taobao which seems to help. But also wonder what settings @gabriel uses eg intensity and power? 30% at 4600? And how far away from the camera is the other issue. What do you use?
Hey! What you see in my videos is not about the diffusion. That’s also Colour Grading. You can remove some reds when colour grading and change that. The only diffusion that I use is bouncing the lights on the wall, but for the final look, you need to colour-grade your videos. I have a video about how I colour grade my videos and I will make one to show the look from start to finish. Might be a silly question but do you need existing audio from the camera to be able to sync up with your good audio?

Could this be his 2nd or 3rd or 4th YT channel? Furthermore, there many other avenues that people make videos. Movies, documentaries etc
