- I've always wanted to travel down the Mississippi River in Eastern Ontario. I drive over it and passed it several times each year. Well after doing some research I finally made the trip. Join me as I travel down the river and portage over some amazing rapids to a beautiful little campsite where I spend three days.
Thanks for watching, I always appreciate it.

This was a good trip. Now I want to explore more of the Mississippi River. Plus, I got my fish fry in!
I'll say it every time. You deserve a million views. Quality video and story telling.
love watching your videos dude the lint trick a classic congrats to your son well done
Another adventure, can’t wait to dive in and watch
29:30 from Lazy Camper to bushcrafter ... real progression! 😃
Excellent production quality. Your passion for film is evident and your efforts do not go unnoticed.
Loving the longer videos. I think I remember seeing the Happy Camper's Mississippi River video and they must have went when the water was low and their trek was boney! The fishfry looked good. What a beautiful spot to camp. Thanks for the video!
You had a great trip. I enjoyed watching. Good to see you back. I’ve missed your videos. Keep them coming Buddy.
Man you too got some great content please share more videos like north, RUclips full of crap this days
Great video, we always enjoy when you release a new one 😊.
Great video David. I love the longer content and I loved the fish fry. No worries on how you clean the fish as long as you can eat it. I am looking forward to your bushcrafting content something tells me it will be pretty funny!
Mississippi River is a beautiful area happy you got to go. What a beautiful site you found gorgeous views, nice sound of the waterfall , That would put me to sleep. Hope the bugs were kind to ya. I don't believe those are wintergreen, winter green leave texture is somewhat stiff and leathery. the leaves have a minty (or wintergreen) fragrance, especially when crushed. your food makes me hungry nothing wrong with how you did the fish. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip keep em coming Dave. Bushcrafting is fun , You can learn from mistakes . cant wait i've done some shelters myself.
Once again, you capture all of the details with your great videography. Any way you can invent an APP so I can get a whiff of those pancakes??
Thanks for another great video. That is a beautiful canoe love that Maple leaf!! I have a new e-scooter still in the box 🎁 haha. I am determined. It will still be a few weeks before I'm healed. I talked to a guy who had a full hip replacement too a couple days ago. He is 41. It is great just to be out in nature. Great job David
Great trip Dave! I think you eat better camping than I do at home, lol.
This was a timely video. I just returned from a 2-day canoe trip. At 60 years old, I'm a little like you. No one my age wants to go with me! :) The bugs were bad at the camp site, but were no problem on the water. Weird. Like you, I left a little firewood for the next person.
I enjoy your content. Please keep up the good work.
*"Rollin', rollin', rollin' on the river."* 😂
The fish fry looked good. Don't listen to that guy saying you are too old for solo camping. When did 50 get to be too old!
