Rooster tail ain't a plug. It is a spinner. An inline spinner.
Plugs have a body that wiggles, chugs or walks on or through the water. Made o' wood or plastic. Not metal. Usually don't have spinny bits neither.

Been a big rooster tail fan ever since I started ultralight fishing. I still remember buying the little Mitchell Spidermite Ultralight reel. Put it on an Ugly Stick, and I was addicted. Fished the Eglin AFB reservation ponds with it,farm ponds up in lower Alabama...and Pea River,in the same area. Little creeks were my favorite, still are. Good times!
