I loved r/place so much. I already really liked pixel art and this just added to that. In my opinion this should absolutely be an annual event from this point forward. It was fantastic.
I am just glad pink vomit monster made it to this video not once but twice. As the only original piece of art I, personally, have seen on the canvas, I dedicated all my pixels in preserving the queen. Alas, trans highroad, void, bad planning on behalf of r/mechanicalkeyboards and the fact that the subreddit for everyone who would like to coordinate was not displayed hurt her tremendously and the end result is more or less neutral/incomplete. I still loved all the work and progress with fellow admirers. Cheers.

Not even a miniature, but tall and flowing. The Void reached our Northern borders after wiping out the EU, so brave comrades from other subreddits came to our aid in vanquishing the plague. The Donald attempted to build a wall in our land, so we led the charge to obliterate the invaders. Our rule of co-operation was you can add art to our flag (such as the AoE helmet, pot of gold stemming from Pink Floyd, and Undertale sprite) so long as you aid in maintenance and defence. Shrewd navigation through the dangerous times brought us to a new age of prosperity. One that is ingrained in the annals of time eternal.
Missed the final Void destruction of the American flag (where even the Rainbow folks were trying to get a piece of the pie). Spoilers: The flag managed to recover half a day later.
The only thing missing was the Chrono trigger war where trolls kept trying to turn Marle into a nake hermaphrodite. It was small in terms of pixels, but I think it had some of the most frequently altered pixels on r/place. It showed up very consistently on the heat map.

I dont know if there is an option in Premiere (im guessing thats what you used) but in photoshop there is an option for sizing up and down and it uses by default "Automatic Bicubeular". If you can find an option to size things up by "Nearest Neighbor" that does it per pixel and will look really good for pixel art and might just be an option!
Yeah, the good news is the owner of the archives just released the raw format in PNG, so all I need to do is combine over a million PNG file's into 1 video (which I'm trying to figure out right now). If it works correctly then I'm excited to say that we'll be seeing a muuuuuuuch higher quality version of this video! :D
I would LOVE a longer/different versions of this to other music. While this captured a lot of the epic moments, it feels like there is a lot of potential here
