I did not see any but there are Black Bears in Oregon. Black Bears are scavengers and are mostly harmless, as long as you don’t leave food out. I keep my food in a stuff sack and hang it from a tree overnight. In campgrounds in bear territory there’s usually bear boxes available for food storage.
