- In this video I arrive in Oakland Oregon where I hang with my friend Ron for 2 days. Then Ron drops me in Cottage Grove and I ride to Eugene to start my tour. From Eugene I follow the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway to its northern terminus at Champoeg State Park. (near Newberg Oregon)

Nice trip through the Willamette Valley from a homesick valley native “temporarily” displaced in Arizona for the past 2 1/2 years. By the way most of those hay fields are actually rye grass and it causes a lot of people to have allergic reactions. Safe travels my friend!
Thanks for the comment Larry! Yeah I rarely have any allergy issues with the grasses here in NorCal, but that Willamette Rye Grass really made my eyes water and run. You being displaced in AZ is not so bad this time of year (fall/winter).
