I saw this wonderful man at Carnegie Hall some 20 years ago which was wonderful. BUT...I NEVER knew he had such a MAGNETIC and CHARISMATIC demeanor. Either I missed all of that,OR they just didn't do enough videos about this wonderful guy. 👍👏
I still would love to see him in concert. In all his performances I've watched, he always seems to be having fun with the pieces however difficult or solemn they may be. He seems like a goof ball who takes music seriously in his own way
Thank you for this video ! It takes away the idea of how somebody should be. Music itself doesn't charge at all...it only can be expressed 🌈 most people never reach this level as a piano player. But everyone has something beautiful inside that is worth to bring into the world 💮
His personality is so refreshing for a pianist! Such a prodigy but he has fun! Compare this to Trifonov who acts like he has been tortured every time he touches the keys and mysterious sick genius air…Lang Lang proves that you can be hyper talented and enjoy life. Reminds me of Rubinstein
