Cooking neck bones n rice now. Nanny used to cook something called Jepter Stew. It was pork spareribs and dumplings in a thick cornmeal gravy with pork liver, onions, salt & pepper, maybe some other spices. She passed in '03. I've tried several times to make it but it never tastes like hers. Have you heard of it or cooked anything similar?
