The real number 1, the best by far, even her collegues say that she plays "kinda like a guy", because of her "male" forehand, her incredible footwork, her amazing backhand and her always improving serve. She could break every record, and that's the best part of it, cause it's incredible, fun, epic, watching her do so, and it feels right, cause she's waaaaay above the rest, but we'll see if the WTA lets her, cause they like to script/arrange tournaments like this is wrestling (US Open 2021/Aus Open 2023/US Open 2023.), and we all know that she's more than prepared to win it all on hard courts cause she already won the US Open 2022 and many, many tournaments on hard courts, and winning them rather easily.
I don't see any reason to be proud of Iga as a Pole, because it's silly to be proud of achievements that aren't yours and to "increase my value" in a cheap way. I just admire her and like her even more because she is cool. That's it. Period. Greetings from Rzeczpospolita.
Grass is a different story. I don't think Iga is preoccupied with Wimby this year. She wants to win in Paris again in Olympics. Spending too much time on grass wouldn't make much sense with Olympics just right after Wimby
In the last few weeks I have heard some mumblings about ''Iga just being a clay court specialist''. My counterargument to that is first of all that it is just false since she has won many hard court titles, most notably the Fricking US Open! Second. Even it the statement was true, so what!? There is nothing wrong with being a surface specialist, some of the most beloved players of all time only won Slams on a single surface (Guga Kuerten and Kim Clijsters are two great examples of this).
Queen Iga for some good reasons, well done for Iga and her 4th win at the French Open. She was unstoppable, can't say anything else..
Iga truly dominated the French Open!
Its just a matter of time before Iga conquers grass as well, with the progress she's making every year

Wow, you're really hyped about her skills! Hope she continues to dominate the courts.

👏👏💪🎾
Well Mostly of Polish courts are clay so that is her natural enviroment
That was in the end a huge advantage for Iga playing and winning in Paris👍👏🎾

Totally agree with you! People love to label players, but Iga's success speaks for itself on any court.
