She knows how to utilize her B, C, D, E, etc game to get the win. And that's a lost art for most of the WTA, especially with big hitters. If Plan A isn't working, they don't know how to change it up. Anybody can look unstoppable when every shot is going in. But not everybody can win when most of their shots aren't landing in.

This year is something else! That crazy winning streak from February till July, winning sunshine double (a rare feat on it's own especially in women's tour, let alone winnnig it bagelling and breadsticking everyone along the way and not dropping a single set in both finals...) and that coming after Doha as a champion, followed by victories in Stuttgart, Rome and finally wrapped up by Roland Garros on clay and now Us Open title as well on top of that! More than twice the difference in general rankings from 2nd ranked Jabeur (10365 points against 5090!) as well as more than double of the difference in Race to year-end number one (9560 against Jabeur's 4496!), which basically guarantees she will stay on top of the sammit until at very least Australian Open of next year, maybe even longer than that! Sky is truly the limit! Not to mention, that she can even add more to that difference by playing autumn tournaments!

Indian Wells was very gutsy despite occasional bakery. Three straight matches down a set. She’s resilient and not panicking even if she feels like she might lose. It’s great that she’s matured to accept the fact that winning doesn’t last forever. After poor summer NY was anything but a guarantee. In the long run not being a favorite has certain advantages. It’s scary to imagine her play even better.

She already won here in NY and Australian open is hard court so she can get that also. Let her find out Wimbledon again at the senior level . I want her to take over the majors . Anyone who has been watching tennis knows that Iga is a tennis prodigy. Actually, she should have more than 3 Slams under her belt. She for sure had last year's French Open trophy on her racket. Instead, she was out there wasting her time with a 3 hour doubles match and was exhausted. That is why she lost in the singles. Her coach should have been fired for that. Even when Iga loses, she cannot even make it look right. She constantly commit a lot of rare unforced errors or do not go after the ball. Her only weakness is holding off on her opponents and letting them back into the game, when she can really bagle the majority of them. But she is still young yet. That will fade away as she gets older.

Na szczęcie niedługo mecze w Europie, zejdziemy z tego „top of the world” i będzie normalnie.
