I just bought the Studiologic numa compact 2 today! I'm still trying to figure out how to add the sustain pedal? It's working backwards so I guess I have to reverse the polarity?
Hi Pianoman Chuck! Have been enjoying your reviews...question for you or anyone who knows, could I midi chain this to my old weighted RD-100 to use for electric/acoustic pianos (from the compact 2x), and have the compact 2x running the tone wheel organ simultaneously? Essentially using another keyboard as a different zone?
Hi, I am not an expert so please take my answer with a pinch of salt, but I have been heavily researching the Compact 2X, with the view to buying one. From what I've learned, you can almost certainly do that with the 2X. I am not sure about the 2, but the 2X should allow that. I could be wrong, though. Please, if somebody more knowledgeable tells you otherwise, take their word over mine. I haven't bought it yet, I am simply basing my understanding on all the videos and forum posts I have read.
@@arcanics1971 Thanks man, yea me too...was considering Roland RD88 as well, mainly to get more sounds. I love my old Roland and would like to get into playing hammond organ style...with the semi weighted keys this could get me a cool 2 manual keyboard rig and for less money!
If you go to the Studiologic website and then products, click on the Numa 2 or 2X and then go to support. There you can download the manual (or read online) and it explains how to use it with a DAW there.
Thanks PMC. The owners manual isn't very good. This video and part 2 is what I need!
so how do you actually store a program?

Do the keys feel like a Hammond SK1 and/or Nord Electro 6? A resistant semi weighted feel?
Thanks for these vids. How do you update the firmware? Confusing me!
