Once you beat certain bosses, she gets less friendly, and eventually turns into another hostile enemy. Killing her makes her gone from that save file forever
I’m gonna be real with you, I never noticed Myla on my first playthrough, I must’ve missed her or something on my first trek into Crystal Peaks, then went back through that way and killed her thinking her to be another Husk Miner.
I always found simple combat to be one of Hollow Knight's biggest strengths. At least personally, I prefer to focus on movement than trying to pull off crazy attacks with like 10 bajillion different buttons
I also like how simple the combat is. 3 abilities using the same button and mana system, 3 cool things to do with the nail, 3 cool movements, and... thats it! I rate the combat system 33/3
#4: don’t get any of the dreamers until you get monarch wings, the starting crossroads area becomes infected and most shortcuts are cut off, so be careful!

One attack button, a dash with no i-frames, and a single projectile early on? How could this stay fun? Little did i know that was just the tutorial, and the natural dripfeed of more mechanics being directly linked to your exploration, and in-turn your experience, is just so great

For me it wasn't getting stuck on a boss I just got very lost and had no idea how to progress so I stopped playing for a while (I couldn't find City of Tears was the issue)
Bonus Tip:You can swing upwards and downwards in mid air. Swing downwards is called pogo and give you a propel in air . . . . I didn't know about this till I reached fungal wastes after defeating Hornet
The compat is very very simple ... everything in the game is made simple but they make the best out of these simple mechanisms the milk every single drop that they can and the results arw simply phenomenal
Counter attack: only approach the aspids in the colosseum, remember exactly where they spawn and with nail master glory shred him before he hits two secs of existence
Honestly the game is perfect in my opinion. The difficulty, the way it flows its just wonderful. You just have to keep exploring and never giving up on your first run and soon you'll be super over powered. I've got over 250 hours of HK playtime.
here is how to beat the primal aspid (easy): first obtain all masks get the pure nail unlock all charms slots pop all lifeblood hearts around the map for extra hp then I suggest going to church and asking for god's blessing because you are going to need it. To practise i suggest beating absolute radiance because he is a easier and slowed down version of the primal aspid. The charms are going to need are: Quick focus, Dreamshield and the most important charm is ofcourse wayward compas. If you have done all the above steps you should be able to beat him affer a average of 90.000 attempts
Yeah the main issue with that is that you WILL be flooded with spoilers, if you look anything up you gotta be prepared to start seeing things in RUclips thumbnails you had no idea even existed, speaking from experience. Still managed to play the game mostly blind, at least. Until I downloaded the multiplayer mod and my friend started doing Pantheons with debug mode on.
the last lesson is the most important......... it will destroy your ego and you will try to fight him just dodging the attack and kill using normal attack, but you need accept that he is.... he is just OP
Tip : Don't feel ashamed of changing your charms when facing different bosses. It's not cheating. This also applies when you're exploring more to unlock your full potential (Mask shard, vessel fragment, nail upgrade, shade spell)

It was a long battle, victory seeming an impossible luxury that a young warrior cannot even hope to find. But I put my blood, sweat, and tears into this one. last. fight. I cried a warriors cry, as I finally plunged my nail in the beast, finishing the fight once and for all. I did it. I won.
Lore aside, I actually did kinda casually learn how to fight these things, you just gotta keep moving (usually short jumps) to get between the spits. Not as hard as I thought, once you get a little practice in. (Which I did, since these little suckers are EVERYWHERE in Kingdom’s Edge)

The only thing i HATE in this game was walking, traveling, getting lost and not knowing what my next objective is, mu 1st playthrough was kinda hell just checking area’s out hoping to find “Progress” and sometimes items i have are meant to be used and bought/found in specific areas such as Keys just to open a very vital area to progress further on that i had to do Wiki which i was avoiding at all cost. for new people trying out the game, please: don't go crazy if you can't unlock a certain path, or can't solve a puzzle, or you feel like you're leaving something behind. The game is made in a way that your ability to navigate the map increases in complexity and freedom, so backtracking as you progress to unlock new areas in an old area is a super common thing, even mandatory. The amount of frustration i accumulated in my first playthrough when i couldn't make a jump or something didn't make sense was not worth it, it kinda ruined my experience and it was my own fault.

I'll add my own one: the moment you have a Simple Key to spare, use it on the door on the far side of Dirtmouth. There are so many moments where I've gotten locked into a boss fight or swarm room because my shade is juuuuuust too far out of reach on the other side of it and the doors lock on you, and sometimes I've double died and lost all my money before I could reclaim the shade which is INFURIATING. Talk to Jiji, make use of the rancid eggs to summon your shade back, there's no other way to use them. I unlocked her mid to late game when this had already happened so many times, I would have loved to know earlier what she could do for me. And there are more keys.

getting good at the swiping down attack is a good skill i think. Comes in handy with some bosses as you can get a hop when you use it and hit it extra times.

I agree with the third tip I hate those things with a burning fiery passion deep into the bowels of my soul
getting good at the swiping down attack is a good skill i think. Comes in handy with some bosses as you can get a hop when you use it and hit it extra times.
