Maybe this whole time they have had a secret love affair which they can't make public least Peach lose her public image. Maybe Mario is in on it, and that's why he circumnavigates the entire globe before "finding" her.

There’s so much simplicity in this game, but there’s also so many differences to literally every Mario game. But I just realized, the objects that you collect are based on space objects; moons, stars, and the shines in Sunshine are based on the sun.
Nintendo being willing to call themselves out on how underutilized Waluigi is is probably my favourite bit of self referential stuff in the game. (Well, that or what I'm now using as my default outfit - though I am often picking my outfit for the world in the post game - of Mario's classic gear, that is red dungarees over a blue shirt rather than his iconic look.)
I would love to see Luke 'fast travel' onto the couch on the Saturday show using a hat. Then again it could lead him down the path of M-Andy from last week... that was freaky...
The main theme _is_ pretty nice...aside from the shrill foghorn blast thrown in the middle. I wonder what the composer was thinking when he threw _that_ in there.

The costumes do affect the game because there are some places you can’t get without dressed up as a certain costume( I don’t remember where I saw this but I remember that it’s a part of a game)
Because the game is so different, I was actually ready to believe that Nintendo would go off the deep end and confirm the theory that Peach actually gets herself kidnapped on purpose.
How does Bowser get his suit under his shell? That must really hurt. Also Mario can wear a wedding dress. Let's hope Bowser doesn't accidentaly marry him instead of Peach. That would be so embarrassing!
I can't afford a switch, but I'm looking forward to playing this in 4 years after the inevitable tanking of the switch and it's being sold off cheap when the Switch U is released (allowing play on TV AND switch screen! so innovative). For now I'm off to play Sonic Adventure 2....
Reviewers don't really get the sense of scale of this game, they just beat the story then review it, but odyssey is so much more than that, there's 70 moons in the second level! I couldn't find them all even after 7 hours!
