As a licensed & practicing esthi, I’ve noticed that I have so many clients with dimethicone allergies as opposed to having an issue with product removal & skincare routine. It’s super interesting that even an allergy could be masked by not knowing if something is clogging you or not! Thank you so much for this video. Super helpful & informative xoxox love from the Bay ❤
1) washing and changing your pillow case and face towel every 3 days or so. 2) washing your hands before applying skincare. So after my toner/essence, I apply my serum. Usually let that sink in for about 10 minutes (20-30 minutes if I’m using retinal at night) and then I wash my hands again before my spf/night moisturizer.
How do you know when you have clogged pores? When you get acne? I have very dry skin and almost no acne as a teenager, but when I started a skincare routine of moisturizing products in my 20's, I started having more acne.
I try to avoid pore clogging ingredients, but sometimes a few get by.😩 Can you recommend a product that will help keep milia away. And, something that will help rid them. I usually get a few here and there on my face…I hate them!😠 Sometimes, I manage to get them out myself.🥺
Hi Susan, I watched your video from your tretinoin journey. I too have been on Retin A for several years. I know that I went way too fast. My face would get red, sore, even sunscreen would burn. I kept going, about a year ago, I got this rash around my mouth. The doctor kept saying that retin a doesn’t cause it and I could keep using it, it would get better and then worse, I went back to the doctor and she gave a fungal cream. Which did nothing. I then went to an actual dermatologist, this has been going on for a year. she told me to stop using the retina an and gave me an antibacterial cream and a steroid cream, a week later it is finally starting to work. But, I don’t think I will go back to tretinoin. I’m thinking maybe I will try the Naturium retinol. I never want to deal with a rash like this again. I think I just destroyed my skin barrier and am having to be very careful and mild with my skin. I have very dry and sensitive skin. I should have had a clue because the whole time I was on the retin a my lips were super super dry.
I double cleanse, there are some moisturizers that cause Malia around my eyes, and and lot on my eyebrows, will my face get used to it with time or just stop? @ also what happened to your vitamin C oil ? I really enjoyed it.🥹 the serum Don’t give me the Glow 😢

You can visibly see the pores clogged, and even squeeze the contents out. It's not necessarily acne, but could also lead to acne.
