If you expect the unexpected, it always goes as expected.
How true
Unless you're me, then it goes as originally planned, which I never expect 😂
@@ifixem9585 I didn't expect you to say something like that but it gave me a good laugh
Florida is my favourite place on earth to holiday in, there's shit loads to do, I love the cars, pick ups, the trucks, I love the steaks, I love the beer, I love the weather, I love the sunrises and sunsets, I love the beaches and sea on both coasts, I love the countryside, the wildlife, the relaxed lifestyle and most importantly........ I love the people, Floridians are such a wonderful bunch.
My Dad got his license and taught from SRQ in the 90’s. My grandparents house is on the approach path just a mile from the airport and I remember as a kid watching the planes land there. On my 16th birthday I got to fly left seat on a discovery flight from Dolphin aviation. So many cool and amazing memories from that airport.
From where I'm sitting, your coolness and technical ability are immaculate. As I've said before, I'd fly as a passenger with you any day any time and feel safe.
The green flash ... yes, I've seen it many times, but in the Southern Caribbean. Only visible with no clouds on the horizon. Very brief flash ... look away and you've missed it. The whole island (seems like) comes to a stop with everyone looking at the horizon. A cheer breaks out and darkness comes. Ahhhh ... a little slice of heaven.
Nice to see you. I particularly enjoyed the video this time at 84 I finally got myself an 65” T.V because I deserve it😊 and it was great. Have fun at Sun n Fun.
Nothing like the sound of a Turbine spooling up.............. Thanks Steve for the ride along.🤗👍👍👍.
Awesome flight Steve, it felt like I was on a tour! I envy your professional flying skills. Awesome camera angles with that sunset! I've heard about the green flash at the moment that the sun dips away.
I once spoke to a Pilatus owner on the ramp of the local airport. He mentioned that he had just returned from Pilatus factory refresher training and he said "Whew ! They really put me through the ringer. I feel very confident in handling an emergency if it should happen." Every pilot should get such training whenever possible.
The TBM is just the sexiset looking plane. 😉
Always a good time flying in the right hand seat with Steveo.
These planes are gorgeous! I love the instrumentation, and controls are so pretty. I love the interior and all that.
I was fortunate enough to see the green flash while living on a boat off the coast of Cat Island, at Fernandez bay in the Bahamas over 40 years ago, I have not seen one since. Thanks for the nice smooth flight Steveo 1 kinevo it is always a pleasure riding along.
Always good to hear from you and see what you are up to.
The late evening flights are the best! One of the many things I love about flying. Great video Steveo!
I agree. There is magic in these evening flights.
In re: the green flash. I saw it several times while in the Navy during blue ocean ops as an aircrewman on the carrier. Never saw it near land or anything broke up the horizon. Only saw it from the deck, never from the air. And a flash it is. Somewhat subdued, not like a flash from a camera. So fast that the first time I wondered if I actually saw it.
Love flying second seat with you Steveo... Kudos to your employer for letting letting you share these flights
The 2006 cockpit looks so much cooler than the new glass cockpits.
Have been to Opaloca quite a few times, only think I seen you fly out of there once, and it was so quick I did not get a chance to get my camera out. That TBM moves!!
In September 2002, we went to Florida on holiday and we went to have a fun game of golf at Kissimmee golf course, which was next to Kissimmee municipal airport.
Not only did we see gators on the grass, we saw a small, single engine light aircraft come into land, as it got half way down the runway, the front landing gear snapped and gave way making sparks as it got toward the end of the runway. Luckily it came to a stop about 30m short of the end of the runway and as soon as it did, a man jumped out, followed by his wife who, he started shouting at her and gave her a massive bollocking for wrecking his pride and joy. As everyone was OK and safe, we watched it unfold and we laughed so hard that it hurt!!😅😅
Happy to tag along Steveo! I figured you would have requested the 15,000’ altitude from a different controller once en route
Your best chance of seeing the green flash is to have a clear cloud free sky. The first time I saw it was from the flight deck of a BA TriStar on the way from London to Belfast and rhe second time from Queen Mary 2 midway across the Atlantic. It is quite spectacular.
Thanks for the ridealong Steve 😊
I'm 44 years old and I still try and guess your ITT temperature on the startup. 9 degrees out today. #KeepTrying
I'm in training now and watching your expertise with caution on takeoff is an eye opener. I would pay to learn and fly with you anytime.
Your videos are so well-done, Steveo. Love the evening/night flights! Please keep the videos coming.
I always enjoy flying with you. Thanks for the real world lesson.
I really love your videos with so much detailed ATC and all your descriptions on what's happening during the flight. Hoping to be able to take my PPL soon, but for now using all your information flying in MSFS
Been watching for years. What a surprise with a Tuesday release. Thanks SteveO, fly safe!
Always love your videos. I would be salty right now about my alt not being accepted! From watching you and others, I have learned that Pilots plan out their cruise alt very carefully. I heard you saying that you were burning 72.? gph. Operating a part 121 service requires the pilots to diligently concider fuel burn over all the phases of the flt they are operating. With the cost of fuel you can see why. I used to think you just jumped in there, grab the "stick," turn the key, and go where ever, how ever you want. Turns out... not so much of that, i guess. If you get into the weeds of what steveo knows about planning his routes and such, i think you would see that this job requires a certain kind of person. And the nuances are numerous. If you make a mistake in your math, you could end up at 2992 out of gas. This is why I love Steveo. He's one of those guys you know you can count on.
What would we do without aviation, brilliant mate, enjoyed that and I miss Florida........ love from the UK
Thanks for another great flight, Steve-o. You really hit all the dots on this one. Love the evening flights, too. You are the coolest, my man.
Two nice things : spring coming in France and a new video of Steveo ! Calm and professional with "Master caution " on take off (like on Vas Aviation latest year with the gear trouble). Thank you for theses examples of control for other pilots like me ( only leisure VFR). Thank you for this good moment with you on flight. ( Music is always good)
My day is always made whenever an upload from you is waiting for us to watch.
I love the aviation community most of all of the different YT channels and yours is my favourite of all. Thanks for always having the right seat reserved for us!
Love you brother!
Nice flight. Thanks for taking us along Steveo!
Great ride Steveo, thanks for taking us along!
Love the video as always! Really like how you talk to “us” as if we’re sitting in the copilot seat with you.
That guitar riff and baseline you play in the background is really really cool !!!
Oh These past years watching you Steveo I always enjoy your vids and your instructions. So calm, cool and collect and point out your instruments your looking at. 👍😃
Saw green flash flash while living in SRQ, saw the best one ever on a flight from SRQ to DFW. Everything weather wise was perfect for a green flash and I saw my best ever on climb out.
Hey Steveo, great sunset flight and thanks for sharing. I'm gonna definitely be looking out for the green in the sky the next time I have a sunset flight myself. Keep the videos coming.
As always thank you for the flight- May you continue to have the time of your life-
There are old pilots, and bold pilots, but no old bold pilots. During master caution, remember to fly the plane. Situational awareness is critical. The insurance company owns the plane. Aviate navigate communicate. Lessons I’ve learned. Great stream from a great pilot
Always a pleasure to enjoy your flight management, along with the scenery!
What an amazing flight! Thx 4 sharing this! You’re blessed to do what you love and getting paid for it! But not enough - you are aware of that fact and thankful! Even if one doesn’t love aviation that has to be notified. And I’m really glad that such people still exists in this nowadays freaky world! I hope (but also know) that you’re gonna inspire people to achieve their goals in life! Thanks again for your great videos and being you! Greetings from Germany - hope to get to see the Florida sunset (in the air) one day too! Good luck for the chase of the green flash and don’t forget to catch it on tape for us!
Perfect, captivated by the whole thing, very interested in what you do why and when. Also great to see the ground crew, tug and closed hanger at the end...nice. 👍
Every time I visit friends in Florida they say to watch for the green flash. Never seen it. I think it coincides with cocktail hour. 😂
Hello and just just stumbled upon this video and although small aircraft for general aviation is not something that I usually watch I kind of like the bigger Jets but I really enjoyed your video the way you talked about all the switches and settings that you had to set and change it was very very interesting I went ahead and subscribe and look forward to more of your videos
Fabulous video Steve. Your editing is like professional standard now! Love the channel 👊
Thanks for posting Steveo!
Great flight Steveo! Thanks for the ride along!
« Expect the unexpected », one of the favorite sentences of my IR flight instructor !
What a lovely aircraft you have there, she's actually quite pretty for a light minibus aircraft!! Thanks for uploading mate!!
another good flight and the pilot had things in control
Great video. I finally got my IR rating, the detail you include is so helpful. Even now that training is over, still need all I can get. Hope someday I get to give a shout out over comms.
Hey Steve - same thing happened to me on the 700B:) except it was the flap sensor which would flash leaving the master caution on without any visible reason. Great videos as usual.
Great video @steveo1kinevo! I love that you share when things don't go as planned. The only time I have witnessed the green flash at sunset is when we are in Key West. If the conditions are right you can see it pretty often down there.
Excellent video Steveo.. sunset was beautiful..the new headset sounds like a welcome surprise .. hope you enjoy them… though your plans didn’t go as you planned adjusting seems to be a regular thing when flying .. and you do it so calm and cool … It’s why I love your videos a great role model to others in industry .. take care Steveo.. 🙏
Love your videos, please keep it coming. Love your knowledge. Awesome job.
Always a good morning when I get to fly along with you Steveo
Absolutely brilliant video Steveo. You are a first class pilot. 👏
Took a little break from flying. This always scratches my itch. Take care Steveo.
Always happy to watch one of your new adventures Steve-O ! Cheers from Oklahoma
The MUMSY intersection up in the DC area is named after one of my professors at ERAU. When they reorganized that area, they asked the controllers what they wanted, and MUMSY is his nickname from a coworker.
I enjoy flying my TBM in my flight simulator! It’s as close as I’ll ever get! Enjoy your videos Steveo!
Waypoint "coots" probably from so many old coots in the area. Love the shot towards the west as you turn left and the wing comes up in front of the sunset.
Hello Steveo Nice to see you again my friend God bless you fly safe be safe
Always love your videos and listening to all your procedures, enjoy learning knowledge from you. TBM Is my favorite because of you. I'm working on my pilot certifications through sportys and been practicing through KCFO
Incredible love it thanks for the ride definitely see you soon 😮
You and Max have the coolest channels!! Thanks Steve!
I find it very beneficial that you are very thorough with your narration of each action you take! Even when you get busy, you have the ability to continue to talk through your thoughts and actions. You would make an awesome flight instructor. Did you ever do any instructing?
This is our own little private Fun N Sun ride-a-long! Great golden hour sunset views!
Green flash, seen it 3 times. I believe a cloud free sunset, a wind from the west as well as watching the sun set into the ocean are essential. Thanks for allowing me to ride along with you again.
You are correct on all counts, sir. The ocean is the key, though. Seen just one but saw it at a beach many years ago. Absence of dust is a key contributor.
Loved the video, thanks man!
Beautiful flight thanks.
I always like the FASEC intro Full Authority Steveo Engine Control
Oh this is a fun plane to fly in MSFS 2020. I can only imagine what it must be like in real life! Great videos by the way! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Oh and I saw the message. But, I would've hit the LIKE button anyway. 😁
Steve-0 I am working my way around the United States in msfs 2020 and gonna end up in Florida so I can fly into some of the airports you regularly fly too you’re a big inspiration love your vids and positive attitude. Been watching your vids for a long time
Thanks for taking me along Stevo.
You was talking about the waypoint names, 20:25 flying into KLAX over the Nappa Valley, you get wine related names MRRLO, LEGGS, MLBEC and CORKK
Another entertaining video. Thanks Steveo!!!
Great flight. Thanks.🇨🇦
Fun flight, thanks.
Wow! 500K subs! So glad to see your success here!
Another great Video as always Steveo, Thanks
Hi Steveo nice flight thxs
Spectacular flight 👌
Nice flight Steve!
That was a really enjoyable flight thanks
Steve-O I always feel safe lying with you when I’m sitting in my recliner
Nice flight, very pleasant evening.
I often winter just a little ways south of the Sarasota airport in the Ellenton area. I am able visualize where you are talking about when you fly into or out of familiar places. When you approach Sarasota from the south, wave at the window and I will be happy to welcome you back!!
Awesome video as always!!
Awesome video.
Steve-O my 1960 Cessna 172 makes me do everything.
oh hey guys its just the fuel selector, but i love drama so here you go. oh by the way Steveo ive had this happen plenty, just reach down and move the fuel selector to L or R by hand. when you get really good you can put the fuel selector in the back of your mind at 15 minute intervals. it takes about 15 minutes to takeoff sometimes, its why we see it on takeoff.
Thanks Steve. My friend flies a aTBM commercial out of Milwaukee.
A beautiful sunset flight. I wonder if the haze is pollution or humidity. Thanks for the ride.
Steveo-Even your on-screen airspeed indicator was off on that sortie. Seems like everything was unexpected!
Always good to fly right-seat with Steveo!!
luv him . .so professional
That was a relaxing flight
this one was espicially fun...you flew out of my 2nd home airport...and i got to see it from the right seat rather that a passenger seat((commercial lol)) cool cool scenery !
Cool video... night time is the best time in the cockpit🙂
