    it would be a whole lot easier if you single potted them first time around, less stress on the tree also..

    You made that look so easy! Lol I’m going to try your method next time. I accidentally killed many beautiful seedlings on my first attempt. Luckily, six survived and they’re nearly two feet/almost 61 cm tall. Thanks for posting this. I think using this technique will improve my survival rates on the next attempt.

    This is honestly crazy, you might not believe me, but I was literally just thinking about getting myself some new plants and doing them all from scratch. And then WHAM! You post this masterpiece out of nowhere? Are you reading my mind? Seems a little sussy, but I won't go digging to deep for your secrets. Though if there is one thing that I have to mention it's that... these Rainbow Eucalyptussesssessi just ain't looking very Rainbowy? You know, with a name like "Rainbow" I would at least expect more than one color from the many colors of the rainbow. Very disappointing stuff. Might I suggest just like, painting over a couple of the leaves? Anyways, bang up job as always, and keep fuckin that chicken bro!

    I have 20 seedlings which are about 55 days old but only just developping their first real leaves. Not sure why they are so slow. Maybe because I have used coco coir? I am too scared to give them fertilizer so I only give them compost tea every 20 days.

    • @abundantcat7448
      @abundantcat7448 Год назад

      Yeah as the video said coir has virtually no nutrients and cannot sustain plant life for very long in its own. It’s just a growing medium that you add nutrients to. How are your plants doing now?

    • @bas4903
      @bas4903 10 месяцев назад

      Eucalyptus and similar species typically grow in low phosphorus soil so the fertiliser needs to have low or no phosphorus. Phosphorus will kill them

    I tried this technique, and I have failed twice. They suffered damping off. What can I do regarding the fungi and how to prevent it? Did anyone have the same issue? Every site on Internet say different things, sometimes contradictory. Frustrating.

      I'm having the same problems, im not entirely sure what to do either but i think giving it some fresh air few times every day and if its to hot then get rid of the lit and make sure it doesnt dry out

    • @JR-td5zj
      @JR-td5zj 2 года назад +2

      Thanks for replying. I got a new batch and will try opening holes in the lid this time. I will probably try the warming mat also. I hope the adjustments help me prevent the fungal invasion. I start seeing a pearly balls after few days that eventually turn into green nasty stuff. Pretty sure they are killing the plants. I will rather challenge the dryness than the nasty fungi. Once I see the pearly balls they spread fast. If I try full direct light it may kill both the fungus AND the seeds…..

      @@JR-td5zj Hi there.. So I bought a Indoor Garden Halo3 and it worked for the seedlings/trees!! I kept the light real low towards the seeds. They are now about and inch big within 2weeks. I’m trying to find out now what fertilizer he placed in there with the syringe?? Any idea? Also did he mix his dirt/soil with anything as well, i’m finding it hard to find good soil these days! I keep getting gnats!
      I found that the lighting truly helps - big time though, on other plants as well!! Good luck to you on you in endeavors 😊👍 thanks for your time.

      Hi Wendy. Thanks for the tips!! I think he just used perlite and cocofiber. The fertilizer is ikea vaxer. It has been discontinued but I found it on eBay.co.uk, as “new vaxer fertiliser/0.5. I didn’t buy it myself so I can’t personally recommend it. It also looks like, since it’s shipped from England, the shipping may be more expensive than the product. I get gnats as well. Multiple failures with different soils. I’m trying again the perlite plus cocofiber and leaving it close in my windowsill, exactly like in this video. What I changed, is that I sterilized the container with bleach prior to start, and used water with reverse osmosis because many germs of damping off can be water borne. so I keep trying different things. Will see! Jorge

      You get any to pop? I am going to use 80%perlite 20% peat. Trick is to keep the seeds moist not wet. So I make sure the soil is wet before I plant seeds in it and just mist the pots once a day. Once they start to sprout I bottom water once a week. Works well for alot of different trees so hopefully I will get a few of these going as well.
