    Great job mate! I plant street trees in new housing estates in Australia. We have a really great success rate with like 2ft of slotted ag pipe down the hole close to the rootball to help get water down the whole

    You have some great templates to follow and build off there in Phoenix with Jake's and greenies garden. Keep the videos coming to show your progress.

  • @gardencraver7918
    @gardencraver7918 6 лет назад +1

    Phoenix Arizona already has so many minerals in the soil because of the volcanoes that erupted in the Peoria area and everytime it rains the minerals wash down and soak into the valley. So what you should do is develop the soil to pull those minerals towards the roots of the trees that way the trees are able to collect the minerals so rocked us is initially unneeded.

    • @gardencraver7918
      @gardencraver7918 6 лет назад +1

      the only thing in the valley that you should really supplement is iron because a lot of the trees down here are iron deficient.

    • @DevelopAwesomeSkills
      @DevelopAwesomeSkills  5 лет назад

      @@gardencraver7918 yes we do have good soil, I just go overboard... lol. The wood chips and mulch are the one thing I would say do without question. other supplements are up to the individual...

    great amendments to your soil you're doing it all right except for the mycorrhizae it needs to have direct contact with the root for the optimal benefit. they won't activate unless they contact the root, other than that great job man I'm planting my first eucalyptus this weekend!!!

    • @DevelopAwesomeSkills
      @DevelopAwesomeSkills  7 лет назад +2

      Kooj c how cool bro. Thanks man. My thought is that when activated inside the hole, it grows and as the roots grow it attaches that way. How would you apply it?

    • @koojc7456
      @koojc7456 7 лет назад

      Develop Awesome Skills yeah. I think that will work. makes sense. ..

    • @naturesrarestbreeds7780
      @naturesrarestbreeds7780 7 лет назад +2

      Develop Awesome Skills that is correct . the roots will grow into it . it does not need direct contact . make sure you add Molasses to your fertilizer . use the Molasses at least twice a month in your feed at 1/4 tsp per gallon . the Molasses will feed the Mycorrhiza and the colony of beneficial bacteria (Mycorrhiza) will grow .

      right on! Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try.
      Molasses is good for more than just making rum! Haha

      @naturesrarestbreeds7780 7 лет назад +2

      Develop Awesome Skills I've been using Mycorrhiza for over 3 years now . Molasses feeds the bacteria well and makes the colonies grow out of control . Check out a guy named Chris Trump on RUclips . He explains and teaches you how to make Mycorrhiza . Chris Trump is one of the most Advanced Farmers in America .
