Awesome job I've been waiting very impatiently for every update video, your driving with the flash light reminded me of a story, I sold my little brother a running driving 67 coupe around 1984 for $250 it was a nice car drove it for 6 years before that but the headlights were out and I tried to get him to work on things take some responsibility, well him and his friend took a flashlight put it in the windshield and went a drove on main street till they got pulled over at the same time I got home seen the car was gone and went looking Gary the city police officer had him pulled over I told him I was taking the car he said he was impounding it I said it was my car and I was taking it home and I did I was mad, boy I was glad we were friends, I went and apologized to him same night, and no my little brother never paid me and he didn't get the car, thanks for your videos they mean a lot to me
I'm actually going to be doing like the Bullitt car with my 68 coupe to fastback conversion I'll probably leave the fog lights in it but mine has power steering power brakes factory in dash air
So you hooking up that foxbody ps pump worked with that power steering mechanism? What fitting did you end up going with? Love the videos man! Keep it up.
I ended up going to orielys and getting a 5/8-18 fitting for both line and pump side. One side was a inverted flare and other side had a bubble type flare. It all screwed together and somehow worked.
It already had the correct timming cover on it. Fortunately someone already done that part for me. I just plugged the dipstick hole on the side of the block
Great job makes me want to get my own mustang fastback project car keep up the good work
@@JohnRoss-ps4vh thankyou

Heck. Build you one. Coupes everywhere to convert.
Subscribed to your channel. I go to the rod run in the spring and fall every year. I'll be there in this fastback in September
@MrGonein60 I'll be there September 12th at Clayboughs Campground till Sunday morning. Hopefully I'll find you and chat.

My buddy has a 67 coupe with a 390 engine either a automatic transmission. His trans is bad.
I know it’s a budget build but are you going to put Kilmat / sound-deadening in it?
It will get the dynamat on floors and firewall
Did that Fox body engine have a front dip stick tube or did you switch out the front timing chain cover assembly?
It already had the correct timming cover on it. Fortunately someone already done that part for me. I just plugged the dipstick hole on the side of the block
In the beginning of the video
Your car has these extension off the fire wall sticking out into the fenders
What are those?
Never mind
@@Crafttime316 are you talking about the shock tower support braces
