Really like this apartment! It has all the high end features but still feels comfortable as a home. Would like to see you cover the building fees on these properties.
The penthouse is light, bright and classy. The floor plan flows seamlessly. It is in a prime area of NYC. What a gem full of history...nice showing Erik as per usual!
It’s a nice place if you’re rich and famous and need to hide, but if you’re rich and not famous, you can pay that much to live in a much nicer apartment or townhouse in a neighborhood with restaurants, shops, and all the other aspects which contribute to the vibrancy of life in NYC.
Uh, kinda, but not really. FYI, Tribeca is top 3 in terms of neighborhoods in NY. There are lots of amazing restaurants and shops there, not to mention it's literally steps away from SOHO. In terms of building, there are definitely more luxurious buildings, but it's really a life style choice. Plenty of wealthy folks prefer lowkey luxury rather than in your face type of luxury. That's why prewar buildings are still as expensive as ever.
Stunning! Love the original details - the beams, the arched windows - which meld so well with the modern elements. One thing I really liked about it is that, although this apartment is in the millions, the space has quite a cozy/comfy quality to it, a trait which sometimes tends to get lost as the price point rises :) Fun tour!
i went to an apartment in this building once and almost fainted, especially when i saw the hidden little villa-type apartments tucked in on the rooftop! erik, can you show us one of those, pretty pleeeaaase??? 🙏🏼
Look at the beautiful view...of a brick wall next door and your neighbor's tiny loft window. Stunning. Look at how light comes through a window--even in nyc. Breathtaking. Nyc living at its finest.
I remember when Bella Hadid and The Weeknd lived together in one of the penthouses we got to see a lot of it because Bella would always post from home. Such nice places
@@chewar7537 Is anybody forcing you or anybody else to live in NYC against your will? There are almost 19 million people who want to live in NYC, which is enough to make the economy of that city work.
The apartment is charming. Looks very nice way they modernized the apartment, while keeping the original elements, especially those beams. Definitely has a NYC vibe. Great video
I love it. I'm not a fan of giant picture windows and prefer a bit more privacy. The arched black metal windows offset the white interior nicely and allow for splashes of whatever colors you fancy. The building is not so tall you have no hope of making it out in an emergency. The parking level is terrific.
Eric I have to say that I love this videos of yours but I would enjoy a weekly vlog, because you are master of vlogs(you make the best vlogs I have seen on RUclips)
From all the NY apartments I have seen on your channel, this one is the best. Why? Because of the space and openness. Also the neighbourhood, as how you descripted it, sounds good for me.
I agree with you on the beauty of your gilded age apartment and former Bank of America NYC mansion. It’s a nice direction but I also love all these modern duplex and triplex videos you do. Please don’t abandon these
This place is so absolutely beautiful, but I couldn't help thinking "if being a billionaire means I have to live with my bodyguard and manager, I don't want to be a billionaire."
I’m actually surprised that the kitchen cabinets are faced in oak - as I thought I spied black walnut, which I love. There’s something about that shade of rich cocoa which I immediately warm to: expensive, distinctive - and most importantly, not played out from being over-used!
I know that I can't afford this apartment lol, but, by watching your video and listening to your description I can write a place that I have never been into my story. Thank you!
Wonderful balance between the loft heritage and modernising it to ease the living but not over the top. The brass and white oak and bricks all blend together wonderfully.
"New York apartment at any price wether it's a million dollar apartment or a 15 million dollar apartment" ah yes, any price, that's out of my price range.
@OutWestRedDirt Right, imagine telling someone something like that back when cars were first invented! Obviously, it wouldn't have been the equivalent to back then. But slowly but surely over time and boom here we are... people pay it for that "zip code" envy and do it with "pride". Lol What idiots.
Much longer than I’d like. I’m looking for a full-time photographer and editor still. I’ve had a very hard time finding someone since for the longest time I have filmed and edited the majority of the videos on my channel.
Might need to get a camera that works well even in darker rooms/places because on 4K resolution it still gets quite blurry. Other than that great video as always Erik!
Curious how the private elevator works, does the elevator door open right into the apartment or open into a vestibule that leads to a security door onto the apartment? Curious also about the underground garage, deliveries?
Love the apartment, very similar to a lot of apartments here in Melbourne. Not sure about 'great room' as a description of the open plan living, dining and kitchen. Great room indicates a reception room in a small castle or larger type palace. I like the fact that people still think a bidet is an unusual feature. They're everywhere here in apartments and a lot of houses. Does the furniture come with the apartment or can you furnish to your own taste?

It's either Steve Martin's or Martin Shorts, (I spied the Mexican Sombreros) from the movie The Three Amigos, but with a Bodyguard live in, it could also be Chevy Chase? Hmmmmmmm...........
What do you think of the apartment?!

I find it to be too large, I think that smaller and more convenient for spaces are better, I am not saying that I wouldn't leave there 😆
I love the goatee but the apartement's great as well
I love it! I’m an open space person too~ feels more breathable for some reason. I also love the many windows!
I lived in a penthouse even more extravagant than this one, until I lost it when I forgot to save my progress on The Sims.
