    Thank you so much! This was very helpful, and I'll be using this stitch and method for crocheting over the ends of yarn as I create my first temperature blanket! I also purchased your Temperature Blanket Guide which is wonderful! I'm a bit late to the party but my yarn should arrive this week. With your tutorial, I believe I'll be able to catch up in no time. Thank you again!

    January 5 2024: Just discovered your channel for the temperature blanket and downloaded the PDF. Your instructions are so clear and especially the position of your camera. Your detail is so appreciative for any level of crocheter. I appreciate how you changed the colors and carried the tails for a clean look.

    Thank you so much for your very clear and thorough video on crocheting the moss stitch. I just started crocheting a temperature blanket which requires me to do color changes a lot so your guide on how to do that is super helpful. And I love your technique of weaving in the ends as we crochet. That's what I was trying to do too but with your guide, I now know the right way to do it. Thank you so much. ❤

    Beautiful stitch! It would be really helpful (for us beginners) if you could zoom in with the camera a little more, like some other tutorials do.

    Thank you for this video. I am a beginner and decided to do a temperature blanket starting in January. I was really nervous about switching the colors but now I learned how to change colors, how to do an accent color and now I know the stitch I'm going to do. Thank you so much! I will send WIP when I get started.

    Thank you so much for showing how to weave in the ends. I've been wanting to work the moss stitch but was intimidated as to how to do it and not have the ends show or peak out. This was a great tutorial. So glad and grateful I found you!

    What is the purpose of first stitch always going into 4th chain from hook to start
    Then all future starting rows only have chain 2
    I noticed you do this often
    I’m sure you have a very logical answer but I just can’t figure out reason

    Thank you for your time

    How are you turning the work to begin new row ? Upside down or left to right or back etc ?

  • @IreneKloepfer
    @IreneKloepfer Год назад

    I need some help. I know we chain an even number of stitches. Then we crochet the first stitch in the fourth chain from hook. If we’re starting with 254 chains, should we have 250 stitches in each row. I want to make sure so I don’t lose or gain a stitch. Thank you so much! You have great videos and I love your packet in your Etsy store.

    How do prevent the ends of a blanket from being wider due to crocheting over the ends this way?

  • @dorasmith7875
    @dorasmith7875 Год назад

    Why the 4th loop on the 1st row only? Not every tutorial does it that way, and my knitting and crochet group wanted to know why as it makes no apparent sense.

    Can you apply this technique of weaving in the ends on a single crochet stitch as well or only with this stitch?

    Do you find that the edges are thicker / bulkier than the middle if using this technique?

    • @JustBeCrafty
      @JustBeCrafty  2 года назад +1

      I've noticed in my personal projects such as blankets the bulkier edges are negligible and the trade off of not having to weave in any ends in the end is worth it to me. But, if you are making a sweater or some sort of wearable that needs to fit you might not want to do this technique (which I do share in the video). It's all about personal preference.

    • @JustBeCrafty

      I'm using a worsted weight acrylic yarn. It scraps so I don't remember what exactly I used! Likely Red Heart Super Saver or Big Twist Value.
