Classic Sterling Marlin! Smooth as silk. One of the best!

Love Sterling Marlin. On the other hand, I still felt bad for Steve Park.

Sadly this was Sterling Marlin's 10th and final victory. Brilliant driving on a vicious track.
20 years later only Kurt Busch and Kevin Harvick are still going.

Notice that these cars raced so much better then todays cars because they werent bottoming out on the race track with the front valance. These cars floated on the suspensions giving them more room for adjustment. Also notice that the bodies matched up better leading to better aerodynamics when in traffic and passing.

When a driver wins for the final time, sometimes there's a sense in the moment that it will be their last win. That's how Jeff Gordon's last win at Martinsville in 2015 felt to me. However, it must have been hard to believe at the time that this would be Sterling Marlin's last win.
