for a reason that i don't remember, this is actually a recording of the middle-of-the-night re-broadcast a few days after the actual race. because of that, the network was kind enough to edit some of the race out near the middle to cut down the running time. it's not too bad, i don't think they actually miss more than a lap or two of green flag racing, but they do cut out a set of pit stops. just pretend you're actually watching this in the middle of the night and fell asleep for a few minutes, and it'll be fine.

This race was about as catastrophic as the 2008 Brickyard 400. Horrific track conditions and a plethora of wrecks.

The best car in this race didn't win. No disrespect to Ward Burton. I remember watching this race , and everybody in the garage said the "8" car would be though to beat. I think he got caught up in a accident.
