When I bought the soundtrack on cd for the first time, I was crying like a baby when this song came up (and the reprise of the bedtime theme during the Happy Ending track, absolutely gorgeous!). I listen to this every night before I go to bed, it's so calming and full of hope for an optimistic new day (that sounded cheesy, but this track really brightens my mood! Gives me happy tears :D) Love it!

When I was a child, I will always listen to the whole of soundtrack of the The Little Mermaid including its score! The movie scores nowadays are not as "listenable" as the ones in The Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast soundtrack. I mean you'll just listen to songs not the scores. See Frozen or Tangled.
This is absolutely wonderful music and I'm about to start crying as I hear this. I love The Little Mermaid and this song makes me happy but sad also at the same time. I also think of this when I'm about to go to bed and visualize Ariel pulling back the covers. I know this is just a movie but I'd rather deal with Disney movies instead of most of the people that I know. This has to rank as the most beautiful music in any Disney film. Thanks to this movie I've been buying a lot of TLM items lately to add to my collection. I wish this movie was real. Is anybody out there a TLM collector?
