As a Paramedic she just gave me a huge clue as to her overall health. No normal, healthy person talks about access to their veins by drinking water. She said her veins are bothering her as well. How many of your friends have ever brought their veins up. Bizarre statement.
I had a friend in the past who was very vain, and had $$. She actually had some veins removed for cosmetic purposes, and I am not talking about the small spider veins that are common to have removed. I think someone called her vain in the past, and she took it literally, and became paranoid about any bulging veins. Lol!

Her hitting herself in the mouth with the fake mic was 1000% a muscle spasm and I think that’s why she did the lip thing. It looked like it genuinely hurt her which isn’t hard bc I’m sure her bones are starting to disintegrate. Me too. I only view Eugenia through Jordy and Jaded. I refuse to contribute to the enablers. I would have died from my Ed if I got the comments she gets. Positive or negative, they all feed the Ed. I don't see a happy ending for Eugenia either. It's sad, but you have to want to change. She outright states she will NOT change. The lip sync was a mess! 😮

I agree, people need to stop watching her because she won’t ever get off of social media. Also, when she reaches a million views, she gets paid a thousand dollars. So the videos she has 140 million views, she makes 140 thousand dollars! Just for money alone, she is benefiting off of her ED. She is using it to her advantage and it’s disgusting. If people didn’t watch her videos or comment, she wouldn’t have her platform anymore. I only watch her videos too through Jordy and Jaded.
Jeffree isn't even that nice to her. Every time she's praising him he just ignores her and starts talking about something else. It's disturbing how much she's obsessing. Does she not watch herself back? How does she not see the cringe?
I was like that with a toxic "friend". I just brushed it off all the time and gave him excuses "maybe he didn't hear me" "maybe he just didn't pay attention". Some people just can't admit how mean people can be. To me it's genuinely weird, outlandish to be that condescending to someone who is that nice to you. So I told myself "It can't be real, maybe I just didn't interpret their reaction the right way". Also I was a huge people pleaser. It's possible Eugenia has the same combo of delusion and people pleasing tendencies given she doesn't see anyone outside of her family. It's a really sheltered environment where nothing unexpected can happen. Even if people are toxic-ish, chances are it doesn't get that worse over time and you've learned exactly what to do so everything goes smoothly.
There’s no way she isn’t constantly thinking about how awful she feels. I could be at disneyland the happiest place on earth but if my feet are hurting all I can think about how bad my feet hurt and not enjoy the atmosphere. So her saying she’s been so happy because of Jeffree is a bunch of BS.

Agree! I’m older than you, with a daughter turning 13 soon. It’s impossible to keep kids off social media so it’s important to understand it and have open and honest conversations. My daughter is aware of EC but doesn’t consume her content at all. I feel so conflicted about her. I feel compassion and worry she is being manipulated by her mother, but also huge frustration with the way she conducts herself. It’s all very sad but it’s good to be open with our kids.

Personally, I grew up with no supervision online and I was groomed by a 30 year old man when I was 14. I'm now 25. Your kids can delete anything to hide it from you. Your kids can have different accounts or even a second phone you don't know about. What is a great indication if your child is being groomed is a change in their behavior. Signs include; being more secretive, unexplainable gifts, sneaking out, talking about someone you've never met, finding sexual items you never bought (example; thongs, bras, and other toys.) My mom never did anything and I displayed all these signs and more. I had my nipples pierced when I was 15, had erotic items in my room, expensive jewelry I never took off, and a second phone. To top it off, he made me wear a dog collar to prove I was owned. He pimped me out and forced me to do unspeakable things. And, yes. My mom still did nothing. I'm currently dealing with my trauma from this man. Up until recently, I truly thought I loved him. They brainwash you so well you forget who you ever were. When we "broke up," I had such a bad panic attack I was admitted into the hospital. I literally thought my world ended. Please keep an eye on your children. No one should experience what I have. If you have questions, feel free to ask. I have a lot more to say on this subject, but I'm not trying to write an essay in the comments. Lol

I do not think she wants a friend in the normal sense and I get the vibe she doesn't even know how to form genuine and caring relationships that aren't based off clout and money. She wants someone that won't challenge her delusions or threaten her ED. She wants someone to reflect back to her, her false self. Any true friend would try to get her help and Eugenia sees that as a threat. She chooses her ED over real connections. Her ED is her best friend in her mind. Money has also been the bandaid and distraction from the real shit that needed to be dealt with in her family system. Remember Deb buying Eugenia Bratz dolls and Disney trips instead of working through her issues and taking them seriously? Going to therapy once doesn’t count. The ED should have been taken seriously as soon as it reared its ugly head in her teens. Jeffree is all about money so this is "normal" for her. She thrives off superficiality because it allows her to ignore the elephant in the room.

We all keep commenting on the fact she is ALWAYS online and rarely sleeps.. doesn’t even have a bed in her room, sleeps on a couch etc. as someone who has had a life threatening illness, sleep is scary. I feel okay, I’m alive, I’m breathing, if I sleep, I might never wake up. That thought gave me insomnia. She might be afraid to sleep.
I genuinely think some of these posts are just for shock factor. She’s very much aware of the reactions she will get. As someone recovering from my ED, when I did stuff like flaunt my body or post these alarming things, I was aware of what I was doing. I was also 15. I’m 20 now and look back at it and am ashamed.
Never feel ashamed. A 15 yr old vs a 20 yr old mind set is a huge difference , throw in an ED on top of an immature mind and it’s understandable. Never put yourself down like that!

Feeling shame about it now is very understandable. It wasn't that long ago - although sometimes I'm sure it feels like a lifetime ago - so it probably still feels pretty raw. I hope you remind yourself that you have grown in maturity whenever you feel bad about that time in your life. Remember, you were also unwell mentally regarding your body image. Plus, for teenagers its impossible to foresee future consequences (including future feelings of shame or regret and the depths of both) like someone 5-10 years older than them. Teenage brains are not fully equipped to do so yet as their pre-frontal cortex is still developing. Future consequences are a nebulous concept that can be hard to grasp at that age for the majority of teens, so I urge you to have forgiveness for your younger self. ♥️ In this regard you're beyond your peers & older people like Eugenia in terms of self contentment and maturity. This means you're much closer to potential self-contentment than people even twice your age. That's something to admire about yourself. Keep it up.
she always responds as an addict would when people express concern: she denies what people are saying is true (“my arms are fine”), she deflects it back on the audience (“all of you have bones in your arms”), she plays the victim (my chat hates me and constantly attacks me”), and she blames the audience for choosing to watch her (“you should go watch another channel since you hate me so much”). there are other things she does, but her livestreams are ultimately about denying that anything at all is wrong with her health while manipulating her audience into giving her cash in the form of stickers and taps and heart mes and etc.
My thoughts when Eugenia acts rude to people from a different background than hers is “How many languages do you speak Eugenia? Yeah, exactly!” It’s harder than many people realize! There are many rules to the English language. English is one of the harder languages to master. Any etymologist or grammar teacher would happily go over all the rules for our language with you! You know all that English stuff they tried to teach you in grade and middle school? That was all the rules.

One reason you're my favorite youtuber is you grasp the complexity of these issues. And you critisize behaviors, not bodies. I agree, I think these social media sites are hesitant to censor her because of these issues like descrimination, disability ect, etc. And the universality of applying the rules they would make with her in mind. Inevitably, people go to "but the fat people" and "the body positivity movement caused this!" Which is absolutely insane. It's not about fat or thin. It's that she has a severe mental disorder for which she denies, and makes excuses. Dying right in front of our eyes and denying it while catering to children and fetishists. People have been censored or demonetized for being actively in the middle of a psychotic/manic episode in a video and don't acknowledge it or explain what happened in an educational manner. People crying "but the fat people," are in a round about way enabling her behavior and excusing it. These are not two sides to the same coin. We have a lot to learn about mental illness. I don't know that ECs lawyers could take on tiktok, I would imagine they would have another excuse not to invite her to the event ready to go. But who knows. As for the video... what a mess. Hat falling off, run into flowers, whack teeth with microphone, bad lip sync. Still has people throwing lots of money at her. I'm going insane watching this all happen but i also can't look away. Something you might find interesting Jordy, the people-pleasing, overly nice behaviour can often be the "fawn" response. It's the fourth, lesser known fight/flight/freeze response. It's a behaviour formed in childhood where the child tries to appease their abuser by doing whatever they can to make the abuser happy in an attempt to stop the abuse/danger/rejection. My hunch is that Eugenia has an intense fear of rejection, so the constant complimenting and apologizing is her way of coping with that fear.

And some people would probably ask like “then why isn’t she fawning with the people she claims are haters” and I think it’s because any negative comment she automatically sees as rejection. So she wants to reject them before they have a chance to reject her. How can she be a protected class of someone with a disability if she denies having a disability? If she claimed it and admitted and was working on something awareness of recovery or something, It would change my mind. We need to discuss how people with mental illness are treated when they are not doing well. Would it be different if she was in active psychosis throughout the tiktok? I dunno as a BH professional I think social media needs a way to try and intervene positively. These companies love to profit off untreated mental illness.

As a child it was Bratz Dolls, as a teen she apparently was obsessed with the Jonas Brothers(following them to every concert during a US tour). We know about her obsession with Jack Skellington and obviously her current one is Jeffree Star.. I think this has been a pattern in her personality for her whole life. It doesnt seem like normal fangirling, its very extreme and unhealthy (she even mentioned her obsession with Bratz dolls was concerning to her teachers back then)

She has called me out on my BS and shes the only friend to tell me "No" for my own good and made me cry about it, but still gave me a hug and told me she loves me. But shes still by my side and im still by hers.

Multiple layers of clothing, baggy, no shorts, no tee shirts, long hair to cover my neck, etc. If I get a comment on my looks I’m mortified, I feel like I have failed, I feel guilty for ‘making’ people worry. Then there are the people on the other end of the spectrum who are anorexic exhibitionists, who feed their disease by showing it off to the world, the more comments (positive or negative) the better. EC is not in denial, she knows exactly what she’s doing and every comment is feeding her disease and its/her ego. If it wasn’t her main goal and if she didn’t like the attention and all the comments she could have easily said ten years ago that she had MPLS (Marfanoid-Progeroid-Lipodystrophy Syndrome). And that would have shut it down.

If Eugenia didn’t have a naturally fuller face, her appearance would look drastically worse. If you look at other people that have an ED and are around her weight, their face is really gaunt and there is zero body fat in their faces. You can literally see their muscles and bones in their faces. This can also be permanent damage if you continue to starve yourself to have no body fat. So if Eugenia didn’t naturally have full cheeks, we would see how bad she is actually is. (I know you can see it with her body alone, but the face gets effected just as bad in most cases.) My sister is like her with having a naturally fuller face and cheeks. This is another reason why my sister became bulimic. She hated her fuller face. Body dysmorphia is a horrible thing to deal with. Also, you would think that after her first video of Santa Baby, you think she would be smart enough to pin her hat to her hair so it doesn’t fall off. I guess I’m reaching here. Lol

Eugenia isolated herself and went all in on her ED after the intervention and leaving rehab early. Deb either isolated her as well or enabled isolating at the very least. Eugenia was extremely bubbly and personable years ago, she had friends and especially she had Jaclyn. All this social awkwardness and inability to make friends is imho squarely on the ED taking over after she didn't complete her rehab. Her adulthood is when she really became unable to function socially or make real friends. TL;DR her social awkwardness and inability to make friends coincides with her nose dive into ana, not necessarily her childhood. edit: I am not defending her in ANY way, I am of the mind that she knows EXACTLY what she's doing and her true colors for years now have been coming out. Agree! I’m older than you, with a daughter turning 13 soon. It’s impossible to keep kids off social media so it’s important to understand it and have open and honest conversations. My daughter is aware of EC but doesn’t consume her content at all. I feel so conflicted about her. I feel compassion and worry she is being manipulated by her mother, but also huge frustration with the way she conducts herself. It’s all very sad but it’s good to be open with our kids.
Make sure you are actively keeping an eye out for what they are consuming! Things that look like they are for kids are not always so.

Personally, I grew up with no supervision online and I was groomed by a 30 year old man when I was 14. I'm now 25. Your kids can delete anything to hide it from you. Your kids can have different accounts or even a second phone you don't know about. What is a great indication if your child is being groomed is a change in their behavior. Signs include; being more secretive, unexplainable gifts, sneaking out, talking about someone you've never met, finding sexual items you never bought (example; thongs, bras, and other toys.) My mom never did anything and I displayed all these signs and more. I had my nipples pierced when I was 15, had erotic items in my room, expensive jewelry I never took off, and a second phone. To top it off, he made me wear a dog collar to prove I was owned. He pimped me out and forced me to do unspeakable things. And, yes. My mom still did nothing. I'm currently dealing with my trauma from this man. Up until recently, I truly thought I loved him. They brainwash you so well you forget who you ever were. When we "broke up," I had such a bad panic attack I was admitted into the hospital. I literally thought my world ended. Please keep an eye on your children. No one should experience what I have. If you have questions, feel free to ask. I have a lot more to say on this subject, but I'm not trying to write an essay in the comments. Lol

I said it on Reddit and I’ll say it again here. I do not think she wants a friend in the normal sense and I get the vibe she doesn't even know how to form genuine and caring relationships that aren't based off clout and money.

Any true friend would try to get her help and Eugenia sees that as a threat. She chooses her ED over real connections. Her ED is her best friend in her mind.
Money has also been the bandaid and distraction from the real shit that needed to be dealt with in her family system. Remember Deb buying Eugenia Bratz dolls and Disney trips instead of working through her issues and taking them seriously? Going to therapy once doesn’t count. The ED should have been taken seriously as soon as it reared its ugly head in her teens.

We all keep commenting on the fact she is ALWAYS online and rarely sleeps.. doesn’t even have a bed in her room, sleeps on a couch etc. as someone who has had a life threatening illness, sleep is scary. I feel okay, I’m alive, I’m breathing, if I sleep, I might never wake up. That thought gave me insomnia. She might be afraid to sleep.
I genuinely think some of these posts are just for shock factor. She’s very much aware of the reactions she will get. As someone recovering from my ED, when I did stuff like flaunt my body or post these alarming things, I was aware of what I was doing. I was also 15. I’m 20 now and look back at it and am ashamed.
Never feel ashamed. A 15 yr old vs a 20 yr old mind set is a huge difference , throw in an ED on top of an immature mind and it’s understandable. Never put yourself down like that!
Please dont feel ashamed, feel like the strong person you are for being in recovery. That has got to be one of THE hardest things to do.

Feeling shame about it now is very understandable. It wasn't that long ago - although sometimes I'm sure it feels like a lifetime ago - so it probably still feels pretty raw. I hope you remind yourself that you have grown in maturity whenever you feel bad about that time in your life.
Remember, you were also unwell mentally regarding your body image. Plus, for teenagers its impossible to foresee future consequences (including future feelings of shame or regret and the depths of both) like someone 5-10 years older than them. Teenage brains are not fully equipped to do so yet as their pre-frontal cortex is still developing. Future consequences are a nebulous concept that can be hard to grasp at that age for the majority of teens, so I urge you to have forgiveness for your younger self. ♥️
In this regard you're beyond your peers & older people like Eugenia in terms of self contentment and maturity. This means you're much closer to potential self-contentment than people even twice your age. That's something to admire about yourself. Keep it up.

One reason you're my favorite youtuber is you grasp the complexity of these issues. And you critisize behaviors, not bodies.
I agree, I think these social media sites are hesitant to censor her because of these issues like descrimination, disability ect, etc. And the universality of applying the rules they would make with her in mind. Inevitably, people go to "but the fat people" and "the body positivity movement caused this!" Which is absolutely insane. It's not about fat or thin. It's that she has a severe mental disorder for which she denies, and makes excuses. Dying right in front of our eyes and denying it while catering to children and fetishists. People have been censored or demonetized for being actively in the middle of a psychotic/manic episode in a video and don't acknowledge it or explain what happened in an educational manner. People crying "but the fat people," are in a round about way enabling her behavior and excusing it. These are not two sides to the same coin. We have a lot to learn about mental illness.
I don't know that ECs lawyers could take on tiktok, I would imagine they would have another excuse not to invite her to the event ready to go. But who knows.

Something you might find interesting Jordy, the people-pleasing, overly nice behaviour can often be the "fawn" response. It's the fourth, lesser known fight/flight/freeze response. It's a behaviour formed in childhood where the child tries to appease their abuser by doing whatever they can to make the abuser happy in an attempt to stop the abuse/danger/rejection. My hunch is that Eugenia has an intense fear of rejection, so the constant complimenting and apologizing is her way of coping with that fear.
This is a very interesting point of view... I often wonder if that is what she is doing but was not sure how to explain it...but you have said exactly what I see...its still sad tho to see someone dieing and her family are letting it happen..💔

And some people would probably ask like “then why isn’t she fawning with the people she claims are haters” and I think it’s because any negative comment she automatically sees as rejection. So she wants to reject them before they have a chance to reject her. With Jaclyn, that was probably the ultimate rejection for her, so she just instantly labels “haters” as unworthy of the fawning or she knows it wouldn’t work on them, or trying to earn their approval is too risky because they could reject her again etc. so she just overly fawns with people she knows “like” her without the criticism she perceives as rejection…. How can she be a protected class of someone with a disability if she denies having a disability? If she claimed it and admitted and was working on something awareness of recovery or something, It would change my mind. We need to discuss how people with mental illness are treated when they are not doing well. Would it be different if she was in active psychosis throughout the tiktok? I dunno as a BH professional I think social media needs a way to try and intervene positively. These companies love to profit off untreated mental illness.

I would also like to add that I have been battling anorexia since I was 10, I’m 41 now, I think there are different ways people deal with it, it’s a spectrum. Myself, I try my damned hardest to hide it. Multiple layers of clothing, baggy, no shorts, no tee shirts, long hair to cover my neck, etc. If I get a comment on my looks I’m mortified, I feel like I have failed, I feel guilty for ‘making’ people worry. Then there are the people on the other end of the spectrum who are anorexic exhibitionists, who feed their disease by showing it off to the world, the more comments (positive or negative) the better. EC is not in denial, she knows exactly what she’s doing and every comment is feeding her disease and its/her ego.
If it wasn’t her main goal and if she didn’t like the attention and all the comments she could have easily said ten years ago that she had MPLS (Marfanoid-Progeroid-Lipodystrophy Syndrome). And that would have shut it down.

If Eugenia didn’t have a naturally fuller face, her appearance would look drastically worse. If you look at other people that have an ED and are around her weight, their face is really gaunt and there is zero body fat in their faces. You can literally see their muscles and bones in their faces. This can also be permanent damage if you continue to starve yourself to have no body fat. So if Eugenia didn’t naturally have full cheeks, we would see how bad she is actually is. (I know you can see it with her body alone, but the face gets effected just as bad in most cases.) My sister is like her with having a naturally fuller face and cheeks. This is another reason why my sister became bulimic. She hated her fuller face. Body dysmorphia is a horrible thing to deal with.
Also, you would think that after her first video of Santa Baby, you think she would be smart enough to pin her hat to her hair so it doesn’t fall off. I guess I’m reaching here. Lol

14:32 I gotta respectfully disagree with you here. She had a real good friend in Jaclyn. Jaclyn cared more about Eugenia than Deb and Eugenia combined. Eugenia could totally make friends and could have learned even more social skills from Jaclyn had they remained friends. Eugenia isolated herself and went all in on her ED after the intervention and leaving rehab early. Deb either isolated her as well or enabled isolating at the very least. Eugenia was extremely bubbly and personable years ago, she had friends and especially she had Jaclyn. All this social awkwardness and inability to make friends is imho squarely on the ED taking over after she didn't complete her rehab. Her adulthood is when she really became unable to function socially or make real friends.
TL;DR her social awkwardness and inability to make friends coincides with her nose dive into ana, not necessarily her childhood.
edit: I am not defending her in ANY way, I am of the mind that she knows EXACTLY what she's doing and her true colors for years now have been coming out. She's a mean girl. End of.

I know we don't bring politics here, but I really appreciate the way you word things Jordy. I've always thought you leaned a certain way politically, but when you talk about what the real definition of "discrimination" is, I feel more aligned with you than ever.
So, let me tell you something about being obsessed with a narcissist. Sometimes, you're perfectly aware that they don't really care about you. The thing is that you love them so much... that you can get to a point where you really don't care... or you cling to the idea that maybe they do care... You just want any kind of interaction with the person. The truth is that I can't say if anyone here is a narcissist for sure or any of that. But if Jeffrey is one... like I think he probably is. If Eugenia is obsessed with him like I think... It's a good possibility that she knows full well that he doesn't really care about her. She wants him to, though... she'll do anything to try to obtain that. At least PART of her probably knows that she's only important to him because she's helping him sell stuff.
