You bring up a great point in regards to XCX's story. We've basically been conditioned at this point to judge a JRPG's story mainly by its main plot. However, XCX doesn't do that. Sure, there is a main plot about finding the Lifehold core and fighting the Ganglion, but that's merely one little thread out of many. XCX's story as a whole is about humanity's survival and adaptation to this world, and just about everything you do in the game relates to it in some way or form. It's honestly a more subtle piece of storytelling that I really appreciate.
My main issue with X's story is how it just feels unfinished. It does a good job of setting up the world, but it's pretty clear that there was so much more planned and they had to cut it back to get the game finished. I'd like to see the story completed, but it does have the issue of feeling like it's part 1 of a trilogy, and Xeno- stories pretty consistently have their biggest payoffs toward the very end, which also showed up in Xenosaga with 3 being the best-regarded of the 3 in large part due to this. Honestly my main problem with X is the lategame grind rather than the story, which does its job for what the game is.
Oh, I certainly agree that XCX plays like a foundation game, setting up plot points to be answered in later games. I just feel like, in spite of that, XCX's story still offers enough to be a satisfactory experience despite the myriad of remaining questions.
@@heavylobster4339 To me the story is complete as it is. Why? Because the game tackles theology, philosophy, morality and you simply don't want a definitive answer to questions like "is there a God?". The game is fairly open to such questions and it makes the best of it without leading you in any specific place. It's yours to interpret. I believe that works as a strength for the game.
Ive recently picked X back up because no other game gives me a feeling like X does. im working on 100%ing it, put over 600 hours between 4 files, and still play it. If you like open world RPGs with a fantastic combat system, X is absolutely amazing.
I've never been as lost in a world as I've been in X. No other game has put me in such a state of zen with the world, always excited to explore and grow. BotW came CLOSE, but didn't quite top X in terms of engagement for me.
@@cadenmiller4320 The bosses were...ok, but could've been so much better. And I really wish there was more to find in Hyrule Castle. And there's absolutely nothing to do post game.
I never got to finish this game. Ended up trading my wiiu for a switch and I regret it to this day. I miss this game. Wiiu now are ridiculously overpriced 😭
loved the fast 1st- person exlporing of the vast and colourful landscapes! (even before getting a mech) sure, the Mainstory is not as great, but the rest of the game is better than the other Xenos .. and some story bites are still great ..its like TLOU2 has a worse Story than part 1 (but part 2 story is at times more intense), the rest of part 2 does better than part 1..
You talked about the combat system but didn't mention the whole appendage targeting system? I love that part of the combat system. The ability to destroy different appendages on enemies and inhibit their ability to perform certain attacks is great.
Also kind of sad that he didn't like Skell combat. Losing Skell appendages sucks, but a well-built Skell doesn't usually ever run into that. No to mention how intense the superbosses can be. High potential Lailah Queen always kept me excited and felt super fun to fight with. Even the one-shot builds were cool to me because of all the work you had to put into them.
Heck, it's the only game I've played that really puts that kind of time into its side quest characters and plots. It really makes NLA feel like a real place, even if it's a weird place with a lot of problems. It's one of the few games I've 100%'ed by blindly running out of things to do, and the only game I've 100%'ed and replayed later.
Seriously my favorite Xenoblade for the music. The only track that I got tired of was the jump song, and even that was only the first five seconds or so.
@@josiahferrell5022 Honestly I just want more Xeno representation. Almost anyone would work it's too big of a franchise for just shulk. I could see if the games were more similar to each other but the games are so broad we need more reps
I wholeheartedly agree. Definitely play X if your a fan of sci-fi openworld games or even appreciated the Xenosaga/Xenogears games. Just please, be sure to play the affinity missions if you do play, it will make the game 10x better. Lots of people just fly through the main story and just think thats all there was to it, but you learn ALOT about the story and the characters by the affinity missions.
I finished the game, looked back at all the quests I ignored, and actually cryed over how i robbed myself of the full experience. This game is a husk of it's full glory when you ignore its quests.
I always loved X. When I hear people complain about the story I feel like they must have skipped a lot of affinity missions. That's where so much world building a d character development takes place. It's not a story you get by just finishing the game but by seeing all the little things and gradually building a bigger image from them. Doing the bare minimum requirements to unlock chapter missions is not the way to go. Really take your time and breath in the whole world. Think about it like you are playing zelda botw. It works similar to that
most people who complain about the story and characters, simply didn't watch the story and didn't even meet most of the characters. casual, bare-minimum gamers killed this game's reputation
I was surprised by the fact that you meet a lot of the xenoforms through side quest. Which I thought was a very good way of rewarding players who put time into the game
I agree that the characters get much more development in the side missions than they do the main ones. However, I don’t really know if that’s a “legitimate” way of character building, for lack of a better word. Fire Emblem Fates did the same, and people railed on those characters too. I guess the best way for me to describe it is that it’s counter-intuitive. Building cool characters but leaving them behind optional content just seems like an odd choice to me.
@@monadoguy3386 yeah but if you like the characters you should want to find out more and go out of your way to do their quests. If you just put on your blinders and railroad the whole game sticking to the story then maybe the issue is that the game just isnt for you.
i still have my wii U, and i have 2 games, xenoblade 1 and X i actually found a physical copy of 1 in French (i'm French) I'm still in love in X, and it also awakened my love for the mecha games and i hope we get X2 I love the world, i love the music, and i love that this is a xenoblade game, if you've not played it, you need to because it's good
Hello fellow frenchies, french too here, i am also surprised that there's french spectateurs (je déteste ce genre de jeu de mots en temps normal perso) here. Xenoblade 3DS on *obvious*, Xeno X on WiiU and Xeno 2 and even Torna on Switch. EVERY XENOBLADE IS MINE.
X was amazing. It took so much time out of my life just exploring everything. I only died once, and decided after that that I would level the hell out of my character so that I would never die again. X was amazing.
Easily the most amazing open world ever created. I actually don't think the Skell combat is all that bad, but it's a bit like a second battle system. For example you can build mechs that are specialized to attack in different elements which can be important for some superbosses. You can attack all appendages at once etc. Actually had a lot of fun building different types of super mechs.
Personally I finished X before XC1; I just liked Sci-Fi aspect of it more and the story just clicked with me more. Eventually came back and did finish XC1 afterwards, and I think I appreciated it more because I played X first.
This was the game that got me into JRPGs. I really enjoyed it and I would re-buy it in a heart beat if it got a Switch port. Sawano did a great job with the soundtrack and the skell customization is great. You can emulate this game with CEMU on PC if you dont have a WiiU.
X was my first xenoblade experience and I love it. Ive got around 500 hours on the game and would recommend it to any Xenoblade (or better yet) and JRPG fan
I remember X being my first Xenoblade game and through today, Xenoblade Chronicles X is my all time favorite game of all time. My physical copy of the game is kinda scratched out and my Wii U Gamepad charger died recently, but do some small variety of fans a favor and get the game (and if you don't have a Wii U, you have a variety of cult classic Wii U games you could get however some aren't all that cheap digitally so,,). The world, soundtrack, and party members overall are honestly great and really the only tip you'll get from me is to take your time and immerse yourself in the world.
I highly recommend people play Xenoblade Chronicles X. The OST is phenomenal and the combat is very enjoyable. I love Mira more than any other world map in the Xeno series.
I really need that Switch port that puts the full character customiser back in and gives us the Dual Audio they refused to give us. Xenoblade X is literally the only Wii U game I'd still be playing to this day if it weren't for the fact my Wii U is still elsewhere I can't easily get to.
I was explaining all the things I love about this game to my friends. Outside of me, my friends never heard about the xenoblade games until I met them. But I was explaining all the thing I loved about this game to my friends, and after me gushing over this legendary game, I took about 45 minutes on an unstoppable spree of all the things great about the game (which is all of the game).
This is going to be a long one... X is my favorite xenoblade of all, i played xeno 1, x, and 2. of all of them, its the game i come back at least once a year to do a FULL playthrough, missions (i hesitate to call them missions as they are so much more than that) and all post game content. i'vs been doing this since the games release... till now i finished it about 7 times...i've never done this for any other game before. Lets get to why i like it and why you might like it too. 1- the story. Yes i know others might have told you its not too story driven but i don't think thats entirely true. The story is light aside from main missions giving you time to explore the extensive continents of mira - and die a lot- BUT the game actually hides its best story elements behind "side missions", which are in fact more like full on stories on their own. Why hide it if its so good? dunno, maybe they were trying to not tie down the players and let them explore. This method of hidden exposition reminds me of dark souls. My point is these side missions reveal a lot about the world you're in, the aliens and the mentality of humanity. Its deep, its very dark at times and can really make you disgusted by what you see and hear....basically, it makes you think philosophically. 2- the gameplay. Its pretty damn satisfying if you know what you're doing, its faster paced than then the other games and requires more movement, especially when fighting the bigger foes. there's a focus on teamplay chaining attacks together as its one of the only ways to heal, increase your damage and effectively destroy enemies. There's a monster hunter style element to the combat, most enemies have targetable body parts, breaking those can stop them from using abilities, reduce their armor, interrupt their attacks etc. There's also skell (giant robot) combat which brings more options to the table . It is however not an easy game. the game does not handhold you for very long, some fights are usually pretty unfair too, you could be exploring, enter a cave and get ambushed by 15 man-eating scorpion things just because. The various advanced combat systems are not well (if at all) explained in-game and require clarification online, so keep your phone handy. For example, an enemy could do a move, get a buff you don't recodnize and then one shot you after your next attack, only to later realise he put up a "reflect physical attacks" buff that made you kill yourself lol. You WILL die a lot and in succession. It can be quite unforgiving as their is no healing system making you rely on the soul voice system, which means you have to synergize your party's arts to make them "click". In combat you and your party have to handble buffs, debuffs, auras, ranged and melee attacks, its very satisfying. 3- Customization. The silent protagonist was a bit of a sad thing for me at first, but... our MC has SASS sometimes, jesus...I wish they went more with a Dragon-age inquisition type protag but whatever. You create you MC, make him/her look however you want, and choose his voice in combat ( male Rebel voice is my absolute favorite voice, followed by Classic voice which is the voice of shulk/fiora). In-game you get armor from the shop that changes the way you look, like in an mmo, but some missions can offer you fashion outfits and theres A LOT of those from hoodies to suits, jeans glasses, scouters, bikinis swimsuits, leather jackets . the coolest part is that you can wear those over your combat gear like a transmog to take out foes with maximum swag. Customization isnt limited to character styles but also combat builds, which includes arts, skills and class. Want to make your MC or a party member more of a ranged character? go ahead, more melee or debuff focused? depending on the class, its possible, some party members have their clear strengths but your MC is Wild and free of limitations, able to aquire all classes and builds. 4- The party members. Some might say that they're boring, but i would say that they're more "human" compared to the over the top characters of other games in the series. They have weird quirks sometimes... but they still feel like people. they fear, they love and hate, they panic and despair and equal mesure, some of them are also going through very hard psycological periods and it shows when their bottled up emotions just explode. To me at least, they feel genuine, they have that bit of akwardness in them sometimes when they converse which makes it feel more alive, despite not being struck with 8 grader syndrome. 5- the music. GODDAMN ITS GOOD! some tracks you love or you hate...then love anyways. some tracks make you feel like you're lounging at home with some friends, others makes you feel like you're an unwelcomed alien, others still make you feel a damn badass than can take on the world like The key we`ve lost ---------- ruclips.net/video/AgD2AxKPyN0/видео.html HAVE YOU EVEN HEARD OF MELANCHOLIA??! ruclips.net/video/EmUeqMnWmDY/видео.html THATS JUST THE GAME MENU SONG TOO! If you have a wiiu, get a physical copy, dont get it from the online store. if you dont have a wiiu, ask a friend that isnt using his and get the game. Lastly i would recommend avoiding trying to get the gaming experience by watching videos, its one of those game that you really have to hold in your hands to feel the freedom it gives. you could also wait for a switch port, but right now thats unlikely.
Hope you enjoy it! It's one of the best games in terms of exploration, and the combat for me is the best in the xenoblade series , ahh, and there's giant mechas
One of the most impactful moments in any video game came from Xenoblade X. There’s this one side quest in Noctilum where you come across a downed helicopter and it’s crew. When you approach them, they ask if you’re willing to help them. If you agree, they assume you’re a mechanic, and ask you to pick one wire to cut in order to get the helicopter up in the air (a cliché but a good one) I don’t remember which one I picked, but the helicopter started up, I got the indication that the quest was completed, and I moved on. Later that day, as I was walking through NLA, I overheard a conversation about a helicopter that short circuited and crashed just outside of NLA. My heart dropped, and I rushed to the crash site. Once there I found a group of Reclaimers among the wreckage. I asked what happened, and they said that due to a poorly-chosen wire cut. My decision had an impact, and a terrible one at that. I later learned that because the helicopter’s crew died, I’d locked off certain side quests. Up until that point I’d never had an experience in game where I’d felt so responsible for something happening in game.

The music, the class system, the Survey mechanism for 100%, the exploration, the customization of augments/arts, the battle system, soul voices, heart-to-hearts, tyrant battles, squad missions, farming materials for Ares90, mastering infinite overdrive... Everything is extremely well crafted!
xenoblade x is undoubtedly the definitive best open world game ever made and has been that for the past 8 years ever since it was released. It is one of the highest metacritic rated games and probably the highest rated game that nobody has played since it only is on the wii u but it is worth the price tag of entry in 2023
Play it but make sure you don't scratch your disc somehow so you don't end up waiting for a switch port for a year to replay it please make a port monolith I'm beggin you
I just picked up X a couple weeks ago, and man, it is so addicting. It took me a while to really understand the battle system, but once it clicked I was completely loving it.
This is probably my most underrated game. I'd kill for a remaster and port to the switch. The freedom and exploration are the best I've ever seen in an RPG
Reason #1: It's a fun game with a good story (if you play all the sidequest). It's also the game that got me into the xeno series and still the xeno game I enjoyed the most. Reason #2: The music by Hiroyuki Sawano is amazing. (Also made the AOT, owari no seraph, guiltycrown and kabaneri music)
reason 3: the world is so beautiful. this is the first open world game that i played that have such beautiful and vast world that you can freely explore without any boundary (except the black chasm in oblivia one) ;lol;
I absolutely love XCX! It's my favorite game in the series. The World -- The soundtrack (which I still listen to to this day.) The characters, all of it, is incredible. I really wish they would re-release this masterpiece to the Switch!
Hello everyone! Thank you Luxin for a fantastic video that really spoke to my heart about my favorite game of all time. I'm gonna drop this here as a pitch for Post-Miiverse Lifehold, the largest Xenoblade Chronicles X online community that still actively plays the game, after the end of Miiverse. We're a bunch of people that still play the game and try our best to optimize and learn new stuff about it even now, while having fun at the same time. If you're a veteran or you're new, it doesn't matter since all are welcome. I'll farm and try to treasure deal gear for newer players, or we can get some good RP runs on T Plume with a veteran group. I love Xenoblade Chronicles X. It's not just my favorite Xenoblade, but also my favorite game of all time. It's really disheartening to see it getting a lack of attention from most people, particularly since most people didn't care to give the game a chance (I guarantee 97% of people that say X has bad characters haven't even unlocked half of the playable characters). Come check us out and join the X community if you're interested; that'd really make my day. discord.gg/rguPXPn
For me this is best Xenoblade game. its insane : combat/music/massive open world/characters/enemies. great video ty for loving such a great game that touches so many of us.
This video was very well made and hits most of the points. The only two things I saw wrong was that there are a decent amount of healing in the game from both auras and "Smooth Recovery and L's move, etc" and lastly, there are a couple enemies that you can't fight on foot due to their distance
I recently got a WiiU for mario maker and Tokyo Mirage Sessions, but got X because it's freaking Xenoblade and I've heard mixed things about it. I'm obsessed with this game now, and I can't get bored with it which is hard to do for me. This game may not be perfect, but it's a god damn open world masterpiece. I LOVE exploring the xenoblade worlds, the absolute best exploration of any games I've ever played.
I honestly think this is the best game in the series gameplay wise. Obviously XC3 is on the horizon but for now I definitely have more fun playing this game compared to XC1 and 2. (I'm also playing it on Cemu Emulator and holy shit it's gorgeous)
I may be an out layer in this fandom as X is my favorite and 2 is my least, but I will just say that i love all 7 of these games even though i like to complain about 2, but that is not what this is about. X is my favorite because unlike any of the other Xeno games it's the only one where I can just get lost in the world and feel immersed in a way few games allow me to, and that is a really special feeling for me, and most everything about X just weave together to create this world that in a lot of ways feel more real them most other fictional universes. X'es is a cruel world where people and dreams come to die and a world filled with distrust and deceit, but it is also a beautiful world, one filled with hope for a better future however faint, despite the overwhelming odds. That's how I feel anyway. I'm not good with words but I hope I have been able to express a part of what makes X special to me, and I really hope people who haven't before given this game a chance will. because as a certain man once said "This world is a fine place and worth fighting for and I hate very much to leave it".
I started playing Xenoblade X around January 21. I remember preordering the game for my Wii U but never had a good time frame to play it. I also wanted to finish the first XC on the 3ds but never did it. I am at Chapter 5 now but I got interrupted with my GF giving me XC:DF on the Switch. Now I got 40+ hours on it and I just entered Valak Mountains. Man these games are giant Masterpieces of Art!
X has the best world design ever and I love the free running and combat and the planet and the characters are great. The music is amazing. I still love to listen to the songs. This is the perfect game where one should enjoy the ride and take in the planets gorgeous visuals
Just bought this game on recently Wii U cause of your videos! I started playing it and so far it’s my favorite xeno game. Thanks for the recommendation!
This is still the best game made so far to me. The story is amazing, it is all about showing you the world and characters rather than telling you a story. X asks you to engage and demands you think about your opinions of issues. Also Lin is worse than Tatsu.
X was my first Xenoblade game and it was the gateway to the others. While I may prefer the stories of the numbered games, X’s world and gameplay will always remain in my heart. Plus, Skells are cool. Can’t go wrong with giant robots.
The combat never really looked amazing to me, but when you play it yourself, it's a whole different story. Especially when you start to understand the deeper mechanics.
Im newish to the game. Bought a wii u last December just to play this game. Is still the only game I own a Wii U and was completely worth it. I just unlocked the flight module today and its amazing!
Wish I could play 2 with X's movement style, the way Rex and friends move around in Xeno 2 feels stiff as hell, while in X just running and jumping around is very fun, guess having the characters run faster and jump higher means having to create bigger worlds and I think that Xeno 2s develpment was hindered a little bit by Monolith working on BotW.
Oh man did I enjoy playing X. Exploring Mira is one of the most magical experiences I have had in my ENTIRE life. I CANNOT say enough good about how good the exploration is. One thing about combat Luxin didn't mention is the Limb Break system. Good god I love the Limb Break system. Its so satisfying. Do you try to break off parts of the enemies body to deny them their powerfull attacks, at the cost of dealing less damage to them? Or do you try and burn them down? I love the layer of strategy it adds. The secondary cool downs were also a very fun addition, adding an extra layer of strategy to when to use your arts. Everything Luxin says is true. You all need to play this gem of a game.
One thing I thought was cool was that you could make a build where you only used the assault rifle, since it was the only weapon to have an art of every color. It was great for abusing secondary cooldowns once you got those to a good pace.
I got xenoblade x because I loved 2 and I had a wii u so I got it. I’m between chapter 6 and 7 I think. I loved the story of 2 and I’m also loving the story of X but the way it blocks story missions behind exploration and side quests puts me off and I’m making my way through REALLY slowly and I’m just not enjoying it as much as 2. I still think it’s a good game though, just not for me
OH MAN, I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH. I've spent hundreds of hours on this game and I've only just reached the final boss! Mostly because I wanted to get done finding all the probes and doing side missions, but you will not get bored with this game. I consider the battle system of this game to be the best one by far, even if it is a bit complicated to get used to. There's hundreds of different combinations for character builds and team builds, and that's without throwing Skells into the mix. I went the Galactic Knight route and I used a build that concentrated on melee combo stacking, and I wrecked so much shit with it. I put Essence Exchange, Yelv's signature move, on my GK build that lets you swap your HP and TP stats, so you get put that move on your build, use Astral Heal, then just go to town with the melee combos and TP moves. The longer the battle lasts, the more damage you can stack.
I love X more than 1 and 2. This is because i was a Xeno fan before chronicles. I like chronicles a lot, but X is a true sucessor to the Xenogears and saga series. Mechs and a space opera in particular were a defining feature. Still waiting for an enhanced port or sequal.

BotW just wasn't quite as varied, there wasn't as much to do in the world, and there was almost no enemy variety.
TheAbsol dont forget the the bosses and end game were garbage
@@cadenmiller4320 The bosses were...ok, but could've been so much better. And I really wish there was more to find in Hyrule Castle. And there's absolutely nothing to do post game.
Actually I'd say BOTW is pretty weak in terms of exploration (boring, lifeless world) and story when compared to XCX
@@autumnwolf4375 The only things it does better are graphics, character models, and movement. Everything else about Xenoblade X was better.
Xenoblade X is my favorite Xenoblade game. It's extremely underrated. I really hope the next Xenoblade game is a Xenoblade X sequel.
Same
I bought XC2 so that Monolith has more money to make XCX2
I hope Elma still there
I never got to finish this game. Ended up trading my wiiu for a switch and I regret it to this day. I miss this game. Wiiu now are ridiculously overpriced 😭
loved the fast 1st- person exlporing of the vast and colourful landscapes! (even before getting a mech)
sure, the Mainstory is not as great, but the rest of the game is better than the other Xenos .. and some story bites are still great
..its like TLOU2 has a worse Story than part 1 (but part 2 story is at times more intense), the rest of part 2 does better than part 1..
And here I am, warming up after the review os the Definitive Edition!
X has the best sidequest villains. Like Alex, or the Pizza Killer.
Oh my god the pizza killer, that series of quests was messed up but really good
Can't forget the blood lobster
Pizza Time!!!
the manon who screams that with the squeaky voice is hilarious
Hahaha the blood lobster... Hated/Loved that mission
X is great I love it to death, in fact It's my favorite Xenoblade game the music, the world, the gameplay, the characters, the story, it's all great
I couldn't have said it any better
Ok, characters? I believe Xeno 1 cast is still better but everything else i can see
Seriously my favorite Xenoblade for the music. The only track that I got tired of was the jump song, and even that was only the first five seconds or so.
Ehh I dont really enjoy the music for xenoblade chronicles x but I do for the first xenoblade game
Uncontrollable is the best OST in Xenoblade in all honesty.

@@josiahferrell5022 Honestly I just want more Xeno representation. Almost anyone would work it's too big of a franchise for just shulk. I could see if the games were more similar to each other but the games are so broad we need more reps
This NEEDS to happen.
Please.... Please... She deserves to be seen
OU YES PLEASE
I wholeheartedly agree. Definitely play X if your a fan of sci-fi openworld games or even appreciated the Xenosaga/Xenogears games. Just please, be sure to play the affinity missions if you do play, it will make the game 10x better. Lots of people just fly through the main story and just think thats all there was to it, but you learn ALOT about the story and the characters by the affinity missions.
I finished the game, looked back at all the quests I ignored, and actually cryed over how i robbed myself of the full experience. This game is a husk of it's full glory when you ignore its quests.
@@druhu4590 On the bright side, it's the best XC to replay for all those side quests.
True dar
I agree that the characters get much more development in the side missions than they do the main ones. However, I don’t really know if that’s a “legitimate” way of character building, for lack of a better word. Fire Emblem Fates did the same, and people railed on those characters too. I guess the best way for me to describe it is that it’s counter-intuitive. Building cool characters but leaving them behind optional content just seems like an odd choice to me.
@@monadoguy3386 yeah but if you like the characters you should want to find out more and go out of your way to do their quests. If you just put on your blinders and railroad the whole game sticking to the story then maybe the issue is that the game just isnt for you.
i still have my wii U, and i have 2 games, xenoblade 1 and X

X was amazing. It took so much time out of my life just exploring everything. I only died once, and decided after that that I would level the hell out of my character so that I would never die again. X was amazing.
Easily the most amazing open world ever created. I actually don't think the Skell combat is all that bad, but it's a bit like a second battle system. For example you can build mechs that are specialized to attack in different elements which can be important for some superbosses. You can attack all appendages at once etc.
Actually had a lot of fun building different types of super mechs.
Also X is graphically impressive, despite the WiiU's limitations.
almost 2023 and I'm still playing this game, can't stress enough how much I love this game
X still blows my mind to this day, the world is creazy big, there are so many things to do.
Personally I finished X before XC1; I just liked Sci-Fi aspect of it more and the story just clicked with me more. Eventually came back and did finish XC1 afterwards, and I think I appreciated it more because I played X first.
i also beat XCX before XC1 AND XC2. i own all of them but when i finally figured out XCX's play rhythm, i was hooked hard. i need XCX2!

This was the game that got me into JRPGs. I really enjoyed it and I would re-buy it in a heart beat if it got a Switch port.
Sawano did a great job with the soundtrack and the skell customization is great.
You can emulate this game with CEMU on PC if you dont have a WiiU.
Never watched a single video before but I'm subscribing because X is the best
X was my first xenoblade experience and I love it. Ive got around 500 hours on the game and would recommend it to any Xenoblade (or better yet) and JRPG fan
I'm in the exact same camp
Flying around Mira in a Skell is absolutely awesome....God this game.
GODDAMN ITS GOOD! some tracks you love or you hate...then love anyways.
some tracks make you feel like you're lounging at home with some friends, others makes you feel like you're an unwelcomed alien, others still make you feel a damn badass than can take on the world like The key we`ve lost ---------- ruclips.net/video/AgD2AxKPyN0/видео.html
HAVE YOU EVEN HEARD OF MELANCHOLIA??! ruclips.net/video/EmUeqMnWmDY/видео.html
THATS JUST THE GAME MENU SONG TOO!
My favorite game ever. Creating new builds was so fun. Any gravity build was hard to make, but worth it. Anything with ether was super OP

Love this game to death. Best open world ever made. I've put around 900+ hours into it and still have much more to do.

xenoblade x is undoubtedly the definitive best open world game ever made and has been that for the past 8 years ever since it was released. It is one of the highest metacritic rated games and probably the highest rated game that nobody has played since it only is on the wii u but it is worth the price tag of entry in 2023

This is probably my most underrated game. I'd kill for a remaster and port to the switch. The freedom and exploration are the best I've ever seen in an RPG

Xenoblade x is my favorite Xenoblade game
Reason #1:
It's a fun game with a good story (if you play all the sidequest). It's also the game that got me into the xeno series and still the xeno game I enjoyed the most.
Reason #2:
The music by Hiroyuki Sawano is amazing. (Also made the AOT, owari no seraph, guiltycrown and kabaneri music)
And Kill La Kill.
You best not forget about Kill La Kill.
reason 3:
the world is so beautiful. this is the first open world game that i played that have such beautiful and vast world that you can freely explore without any boundary (except the black chasm in oblivia one) ;lol;

Xenoblade X: Where your equipment has equipment. Your giant robots have equipment, and that equipment also has equipment.
I could talk for hours about how amazing this game is
For me this is best Xenoblade game. its insane : combat/music/massive open world/characters/enemies. great video ty for loving such a great game that touches so many of us.
If you're looking for a good time, X gon give it to ya.

300 hours invested and never passed chapter 10 because I didn't want it to end! Thanks for doing this video
I will play it, once it gets its inevitable switch release!
I just finished Xenoblade X a few days ago for the first time, and the ending cliffhanger made me want nothing else but Xenoblade X2
Yes. X definitely NEEDS a sequal. 1's story was over. 2 is a good story but it isn't really a necessary sequal. X needs one though.
I literally bought my wii u just to play xenoblade x. Its one of my favorite games and i have over 5 accs with in total 600+ hours in all of them
I started playing Xenoblade X around January 21.
Amazing game, playing through it for the first time over the last few months, it has been a blast.
Everyone will play this in a few months, and they will know why Xenoblade Chronicles X is the best game in the series
No game has better movement to me than Xenoblade X
It’s a good game. Go play it!
XCX is just as good as any other in the series and just about my fav one in the series.
Interestingly enough X was the first Xenoblade game I played although not the first I was introduced to the goes to Xenoblade 1
Still play this game to this day, favorite game of all time and I honestly think it deserves way more recognition
Honestly the best game in the series, I’ve sunk over 400 hours into this game
One thing I thought was cool was that you could make a build where you only used the assault rifle, since it was the only weapon to have an art of every color. It was great for abusing secondary cooldowns once you got those to a good pace.
I got xenoblade x because I loved 2 and I had a wii u so I got it. I’m between chapter 6 and 7 I think. I loved the story of 2 and I’m also loving the story of X but the way it blocks story missions behind exploration and side quests puts me off and I’m making my way through REALLY slowly and I’m just not enjoying it as much as 2. I still think it’s a good game though, just not for me
I do really like the gameplay but it’s not enough to encourage me to get fully into it
OH MAN, I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH.
We've put something like 1000 hours into X over 3 100% playthroughs. It's a GOOD GAME. PLAY IT!
I love X more than 1 and 2. This is because i was a Xeno fan before chronicles. I like chronicles a lot, but X is a true sucessor to the Xenogears and saga series. Mechs and a space opera in particular were a defining feature.
Still waiting for an enhanced port or sequal.
Good thing I just finished all the side quests in ng+ Xenoblade 1
Ugh. Now you made me want to play X again. But I have two tests tomorrow, and finals the week after.
Xenoblade X has L, and the fact that I can strip him down and take a look at his rigid turquoise physique is enough to get a 10/10 from me
Sounds like an asscave thing to do.
Its been a while since I played Xenoblade X, so suddenly I think of death note and I start to question your sanity
