Is the switch with race mode recommended because I only have the D,N,A modes? Do you recommend a cold air intake prior to the tune?
The only difference in the tune is he’ll ask if you have a downpipe or race mode. You don’t need the race mode selector at all, they just make all the mods work if you do have race. Quick question for you guys! for somebody that has no performance mods done to his Giulia, would this squadra tune be a good place to start ? Or would you recommend starting with something else ?
Honestly it’s a great place to start. If you want instant power this will do it. In my opinion when you look at cost this is the biggest bang for your buck. You can always do an exhaust but it won’t give you the power this will. That’s just for sound. It’s 40 extra hp and smooth power curve through each gear. I have a 22 Gulia, do you think the tune would be worth voiding warranty? Would I be able to get away removing the tune with the tablet before taking it in?
Great question! That’s ultimately your car, I flash tuned my car at 30k miles and dealer still honored my warranty claims. I’m sure if my motor blew that would be a different conversation lol honestly I love my tune and it’s worth it to me. You could switch back and forth with the power gate.
Firstly I'm so happy I found your channel! Thank you. Would you approve of this setup: Squada Tune, Ragazzon Catless, Remus or Centerline Exhaust, v2 EC intake; please correct me if you would change anything there. Im about to throw a lot of money on my car ❤
I went for the Squadra Tune and SuperSprint Sport Catback Exaust. Going to wait for the DP upgrade. On the Fence about the Intake; Heard EC V2 decreases the HP :/ Jason said to stay stock. Haven't desided.
All comes down to preference, does heat soak but it does have more air flow. People have gotten great numbers with stock. Cold air intakes have always been known to heat soak unfortunately.
Hey can you tell me where you got your tune or how much it cost? I’m looking into getting an Alfa Romeo and I was 100% set on getting a Quadrifoglio BUT i might be wise and save some money by getting a Ti Sport and tuning it instead. I just want an idea on how much I’d be spending on a used Ti Sport + Tune vs a Quadrifoglio 🤔
Awesome video guys! I have the squadra tune as well (powergate) but your car seems so much more alive!! Were you on race mode and using the race mode tune option? Alway fun watching you two. Cheers from Los Angeles!
Thanks brotha! I was blown away, this thing was moving lol Yes we were in race mode, that’s also why we slipped a little lol appreciate the kind words and support from LA!
Sounds amazing! Can you please list everything that is done to this point? I saw another video with the downpipe/and pops/bangs and found that a little too much. Thank you!!
I’ll say a flash tune will always feel better than a piggyback, that’s just my experience. I have a friend who went from JB4 to Squadra and absolutely loved it. There’s a difference than just moving up the boost / tricking the computer vs tuning the actual ECU. It’ll always be a difference, not that JB4 is bad. You’re power will just feel more smooth.
Nice videos man! Quick question, so whats needed on the 2018+ to get it tuned? I read something about a bypass and some other thing that might be needed
Mannn it’s so expensive! But now I’m hypeddddd! So should I get the go-pedal as well?? Or will this just do the trick I need?? I want to increase my HP as well but I don’t know where to start and what all I should add
You can get the go pedal as well but this is definitely all you need. This is 100% where you want to start if you want more power. Exhaust, intake and downpipe are all minor compared to what HP a tune can give you.
Awesome vid I just subscribed🫡 i got a quick question… if I got this tune for a stelvio or guilia will it void any alfa care dealership warranty? Or if I get the tablet, can I just delete the tune for dealership maintenance and then redownload after? Love to here your thoughts!
That’s a better question for Alfissimo, I can only speak from experience. My dealer has never given me and issue and I’ve even let them drive my car. If you go with the powergate yes you can always revert back to stock, however they can see if the ecu is flashed.
I have a 2019 base alpha Romeo guilia 4i. 2cyl twin turbo, i am a car salesmen but suck at mechanicical knowledge, my car is so quiet and only 280 hp, I wanna reach at least 301 hp, and not sound so quiet, sucks it’s not a V6 , like Infiniti’s they sound amazing, what would u guys suggest . I want it to pop
i’m looking into getting a 2020 Alfa Ti. 13k miles for 29800. What are your thoughts and what’s the reliability on an Alfa. I’m scared it’ll break down a lot.
Honestly the Alfa is reliable, you just need to find a good dealer. The issue has never been is my Alfa going to fail, it’s always been where do I service it. You find a solid dealer and you’re good
Do you need to do an exhaust or intake for this tune to work, I also have a q4 is there a different squadra map for q4’s? New to the Alfa community and I see you guys have done tons. Would really appreciate the advice on what to do first !
No exhaust or intake needed, you can add those later if you’d like! The map will be specifically for your car, they’ll send you a map for your car. Welcome to the Alfa community feel free to reach out if you have more questions!
Question on your set up - you’re running a catted downpipe right? What about exhaust? Muffler deleted? Resonator deleted? Would love to see how much more power I can eke out of my Giulia as well! 😉
I have a 2019 Guilia TI Sport and I am looking to do a catback exhaust + a tune. I really like the results of this one, could you tell me which tune option you went with? There are 4 on the website.
Stumbled across your video and wow that tune is nice. Would love to do this to my wife's new 22 Veloce but always warranty worried at least during the first 36k miles. Thoughts? I'm up the road in Waco if you guys make it up this way would love to say hi and see the ride.
Hey! Welcome to the channel! If you send the ECU in, it’s hard for the dealers to detect the tune. Personally I’d still do it, my first flash tune with at 30k. Just comes down to preference I know some people wait till after their warranty is up. We’ve definitely been to Waco a few times; if we make it up there we’ll definitely post about it on IG. If you’re ever in Dallas we go to local meets all the time!
After all the mods been meaning to ask you - have you considered adding the AutoFlash TCU tune? Am told it can be added in addition to any ECU tune for a quicker transmission - have you tried it? If so, how did you find it? “Dope or nope?”
Fixing to buy the tune soon (bench). For the ECU what were you talking about removing a ground? Couldn’t see that step in the video good. I just need to work some more Off Duty Shifts 👮🏽♂️then I’ll be able to get this beauty haha

Great question! That’s ultimately your car, I flash tuned my car at 30k miles and dealer still honored my warranty claims. I’m sure if my motor blew that would be a different conversation lol honestly I love my tune and it’s worth it to me. You could switch back and forth with the power gate.
Ok now im getting an alfa
Welcome to the club 🤝
Firstly I'm so happy I found your channel! Thank you.
Would you approve of this setup: Squada Tune, Ragazzon Catless, Remus or Centerline Exhaust, v2 EC intake; please correct me if you would change anything there. Im about to throw a lot of money on my car ❤
Happy you found my channel! Definitely centerline exhaust, wait for ideals intake. Downpipe you can try different options but ragazzon works !
Thank you MM! My next purchase will be from your Merch store; you've been an inspiration !
@@Theycallmebritish awe man we greatly appreciate that! So glad we’ve been helpful 🫶🏼
I was blown away, this thing was moving lol
Yes we were in race mode, that’s also why we slipped a little lol appreciate the kind words and support from LA!
@@ModdedMotors Good to know! I'll try the tune that includes race mode. Keep the videos coming!
Sounds amazing!
Can you please list everything that is done to this point?
I saw another video with the downpipe/and pops/bangs and found that a little too much.
Thank you!!
I have been running a JB4 or 2 years and like the additional power. Have you guys ever run a JB4? If so, does the Squadra feel more powerful?
I’ll say a flash tune will always feel better than a piggyback, that’s just my experience. I have a friend who went from JB4 to Squadra and absolutely loved it. There’s a difference than just moving up the boost / tricking the computer vs tuning the actual ECU. It’ll always be a difference, not that JB4 is bad. You’re power will just feel more smooth.
Nice videos man! Quick question, so whats needed on the 2018+ to get it tuned? I read something about a bypass and some other thing that might be needed
Really only a bypass but that’s pretty simple. You can reach out directly to Alfissimo but should be straight forward.
How did it improve your 0-60 time/acceleration? Sounds like a true performance sports car... lean, mean and quick.
Thank you! I totally agree with the sound. We haven’t done 0-60 runs yet but we will!
They’re coming out with a big turbo tune as well
Ohhhh we’re waiting for it 10000%! We need that 400hp!
@@ModdedMotors will there be a install video when this happens?
@@HYFN1N of course 🙌🏽
@@ModdedMotors I would hold off I heard altissimo talking about squares coming out with a even bigger turbo stage 2 baby
They are, they’re now a sponsor of the channel. We should be one of the first with the stage 2. 🙌🏽
Question on your set up - you’re running a catted downpipe right? What about exhaust? Muffler deleted? Resonator deleted? Would love to see how much more power I can eke out of my Giulia as well! 😉
Catless downpipe and Remus exhaust!
@@ModdedMotors Loaded up the Squadra Tune Thursday and opened it up yesterday! It definitely unleashed some power!!! 😎😜👍🏼
@@samn1217 NICE! You liking it?!
I need this on my 2020 giulia ti sport
I have a 2019 Guilia TI Sport and I am looking to do a catback exhaust + a tune. I really like the results of this one, could you tell me which tune option you went with? There are 4 on the website.
Does this.void.any extended warranties? And if so, how.do you get atoumd it during your maintenance
Dealerships could deny claims related to engine failure. The reality of finding the tune if you send in for a bench is highly unlikely.
You guys looked so scared when you lost traction. 🤣🤣
LMAOO I low key was 🤣 I wasn’t expecting that!
@@ModdedMotors Looking at the background when you floored it, it looks like it's definitely picking up speed quicker now!
@@grippin_aint_easy Right! It’s definitely moving now 😂 Krystal says let’s go to the drag strip 😅
Man that thing would be a dig machine if it was the awd version
Yesss it would lol
Love the video ! Hows the Tune 5 months later? Perhaps and idea for a video update
Yes! I need to sit down and make that video 😅 but still loving it 5 months later. No issues at all
@ModdedMotors Nice! Glad to hear.
Tune the Stelvio 😈 next
Lol 😂 high potential
After all the mods been meaning to ask you - have you considered adding the AutoFlash TCU tune? Am told it can be added in addition to any ECU tune for a quicker transmission - have you tried it? If so, how did you find it? “Dope or nope?”
From madness, I tried their Powerpack. It was cool, JB4 is a better investment
Hows the reliability on it and what mods have you got as im looking to buy the giulia Super 2.0l 🙏and is that whp
Should be whp, that’s what they dyno’d the car at. I’ve had 0 issues with reliability
Fixing to buy the tune soon (bench). For the ECU what were you talking about removing a ground? Couldn’t see that step in the video good. I just need to work some more Off Duty Shifts 👮🏽♂️then I’ll be able to get this beauty haha
Can you install this in a Stelvio ? And will it blow any internals under the hood because of the increase in power and torque ?
It’s only 40hp extra, yes it’ll work on the Stelvio.
Okay.. I need this 😆
You 10000% need this!
Does this disable traction control or do you have to do a separate thing for that ?
Race mode will disable traction!
Do you have links to your downpipe and exhaust? Thanks and also loving the content🤙
Appreciate it brotha! The exhaust is Remus and the downpipe is ragazzon , the links should be in the videos. If you reach out on IG I can DM you the link as well
I’m waiting to see an upgraded turbo video
Waiting on final results and we’ll be going for one soon! Waiting on Squadra
I just got my EC deliverer NEVER installed tune my self having trouble here :/ with portal etc. then had to download other software since I use MACBook lmao I’m used to taking it to a tuner I have a Q50 FBO tuned on Ecutek and this is my first car ever tryna do DIY on please help:(
You still need help? Hit us up on IG
@@ModdedMotors thank you for responding I fully installed it but the pop and bangs aren’t happening ? I slightly tap it but nothing idk I’d the car just has to get used to it ?? The car most def felts nastier and that raised rev limiter nice !
Duuuuuuude yesssssss!!!
Brooooooooo 🥲 I should’ve listened sooner
Are there any other mods needed to support this tune or is it plug and play.
There’s a new video called 1 year with Squadra, I go over all you should consider
Just recently bought my alfa giulia, have bought already 6 parts and only 1 of the 6 parts have fit correctly on my car... definitely coming to this chanel for my alfa upgrades now! Do you mind sending me a url to the downpipe you guys currently have on your car? Also, you guys being located in texas, NEVER GO TO MADNESS AUTOWORKS, THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SCAM. I paid almost $700 for a shitty spoiler and trying to return it they wont pay for my shipping and they are making me pay for a restocking fee. I just want to upgrade my alfa in peace😭 they false advertise their items and after i told them they shouldve made it clear that their spoiler was hollow they claimed "if we show that it is hollow then no one would want to buy it"😂😂 they are the biggest scam artists. AND they delete their negative reviews on their website...
Also do you know if this tune can be used for a 2018 giulia as well?
Oh man I’m sorry to hear that! That’s a rough start to the build. So glad you found our channel! I’m familiar with Madness definitely some mixed reviews in there 😅 I try to find the best products at the most affordable price. That’s why I don’t typically shop at madness. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!
It 100% will work with a 2019, any year really.
Where can i get that air intake?? I just have the k&n filtter sounds pretty cool but i can hear yours forsure
I got it from Eurocompulsion, it’s their V2
Are you guys running stock exhaust system with the tune?
Any idea what the 0-60 mph time is with the tune? Thanks
when u send the ecu to them how long does it take for them to send the tune?
We sent it out late Tuesday got it back early Thursday
The one thing I don‘t get is the tune for the 280 ps Q4 Engine or for the 200 ps rwd engine
Because in Europe there are two Giulias 2.0 with 200 and 280ps
They have tunes for both to my understanding, I think only 280hp is listed on their site. Reach out to them via email for clarity if you have the 200 one.
I have a stelvio and I wanted to know if those are quadrifolio wheels ? Do they fit well or rubbing ?? Absolutely georgus car !!!
They are , and no rubbing. Fit just fine ☺️
My car only has a straight pipe and a bms intake you think ill need a down pipe to achive good acceleration for a squadra tune ???
You definitely don’t need a downpipe, it’ll still be a completely different car.
I have a 2018 TI Sport Guilia. Would love to know if any shops in North Carolina can simply do this by me dropping the car off for a day. I use it as an everyday driver...cant wait for ECU to be shipped out and then back =(
You don’t have to wait; the power gate option is a tablet for you to upload the tune yourself. It should take no more than an hour
hey guys what are all the bolt-ons you guys need for that tune????
You don’t need any, if you want race mode or a downpipe I’d do that before the tune. Other than that you don’t need any bolt on before hand
Hey guys how long did it take for you to get the ecu back from the time it was sent out??
We sent it out Tuesday afternoon got it back Thursday Morning
@@ModdedMotors thanks for the quick response! I just got a 2019 giulia and plan on building it. I want the hybrid turbo for it but im a bit intimidated to work on this car lol
This mod looks like bang for the buck. 3000$ hybrid turbo mod doesn't seem to do much better, gains don't seem to be justifying its price. Do You happen to check what times are You actually getting 0-60 and 60-120 ?
They have a new hybrid coming out soon, that should get us over 400hp. We haven’t checked our times yet, but definitely will soon!
What other mods are done to the exhaust in this video? Is it a catless aftermarket downpipe? I’m planning on getting this car possibly and I would like it a bit quieter. Appreciate the content!
Yes I’m running a catless downpipe
@@ModdedMotors stock exhaust otherwise?
In this video running a Remus Catback Exhaust and Ragazzon downpipe.
Stock these cars are pretty quiet
@@ModdedMotors I think I’ll do intake, tune, downpipe only. Thanks for helping!
Can you get pops and bang with this tune? Or just the eurocompultion one?
Squadra solely focuses on performance, so they don’t offer pops and bangs. They only have 1 tune available unfortunately.
Can I use it on my car is all wheel drive?
Can you still run the pops and bangs tune with the squadra tune or no
You can only run one or the other, I’d recommend if you want pops and bangs to go with Euro.
