I use this all the time, but maybe different than you might think. When in heavy traffic and traffic yams. Just set it to shortest distance and it will accelerate and break with the traffic flow and if you come to a full stop behind another car and the traffic starts moving again, just tap the acceleration pedal and it will start to follow the flow again. It's magic to be honest, just a little daunting if it's going to break when you're rolling up to the car in front of you for the first time, but you get used to it. Works flawlessly for me and saves me my sanity.
Great video, thank you for posting. Your veloce looks fantastic. Hopefully collecting my speciale next week and I would like to enable ACC+, AutoDimming beams and retrofitting the reverse camera. All of which id require the MultiECUscan software. Where did you buy it from, and qhich subscription level is required? Looking forward to more Guilia content. Thanks
Thanks for the comment. I bought my MultiECUscan from Gendan. I purchased other leads, so I could use it on my son’s Fiat, so that added to the cost. I would give Gendan a call, they are really helpful. I paid £158.90 for everything I needed. On my car, I just needed the switch pack and the MultiECUScan. my car already had the front camera and the radar. So just make sure you know exactly what is needed. I hope that helps. 👍🏼
@@superjumboracing Thanks for the pointer, I have emailed their sales team this evening. Picked the car up today and am looking forward to tailoring her to my needs. Did yours come with the automatic high beam? I'm also hoping to be able to find a way of removing the beeping when locking and unlocking, i had it on a previous alfa and it wound me up no end.
I hope you’re enjoying your Giulia, car collection day, is always an exciting one! My car did come with auto high main beam (someone went to town with the options!) It works pretty well I think. Not as fast as a human, but not that far off. The lock beep outside your house in the early hours of the morning sounds like a fog horn! Good luck with your car.👍🏼
Thanks for the comment. I cover turning the steering wheel to clear fault codes in one of my battery videos. Unfortunately for the cruise control video, it didn’t work, I could only clear them with the Multiecuscan.
Thanks for the explanation, I didn’t see any sign of that in the setting options. I wonder if it’s not an option on UK market cars? I will look the next time I connect the computer to the car though.
Which MY is this? There was a recall regarding ACC malfunction (it would accelerate instead of slowing down if it detected a slippage) which had a software update as a fix. Non ACC equiped models didn’t get it, so be aware.
@@superjumboracing mine is also late 2018. I asked authorized service for the recall update, but they said they couldn’t do it. If you find a solution please let us know. Thanks!
I already have the bypass installed in my car, do I still need the gray connector? I have a obd2 connector for the multi ecu scan just don’t have a gray cable. Also where did you buy the switch
I bought my switch from Shop4parts in the Uk. Multiecuscan asked me to connect the grey adapter connector, so I would assume you would also need it. But can’t guarantee it.
@@superjumboracing but shouldn't it just be some software you need to add or is not possible because those cars are not outfitter with a torque motor for the steering wheel?

I didn’t know that about tapping the accelerator, I will check it out.
thanks for the help, was really useful with my installation.
Glad it helped

Most of those errors are when you reconnected the battery. All you do is 2 turns of the steering wheel full lock and you will clear them.
Thanks for the comment.

Hey buddy, great video. I learned the whole lot but I have a question when you program the ACC does it also program the driving assist
Thanks for the comment.
I don’t think we have driving assist in the UK. What does it do?
It keeps you in your lane
Nice job you made it very clear 👍 juste have a question if the tcr function can be enabled, good continuation
Thanks for the nice comment.
It’s probably really obvious, but I can’t think what tcr stands for, would you mind explaining please?

Is it possible to have CC and ACC both available, to choose one or the other? ACC fails when the front radar gets unabled for whatever reason.
Thanks for the comment.
I will go back into the system and try enabling CC, and will see what happens.
I haven’t tried to enable CC as well, but I have now been told that it isn’t possible to enable ACC & CC.

That’s a shame.
is it possible to highway driving assist and traffic jam assist as it uses the same hardware?

I think you are correct, it is a hardware issue.
