(Not a Notre Dame Fan and someone who only watches Football highlights) Because I am moved by Marcus Freeman’s leadership attributes I will root for the resilient journey of this team!
It’s not gonna be easy, but I wish you the best of luck in Notre Dame, Coach Freeman. 💚🍀
Yeah!!! Chills baby... Lord please let this team WIN!!! Amen and Thank you
U know the 'prayer hotline' was busy today! 🤣🤣🥳
I’m so excited about Coach Freeman’s ability to recruit the best players!!! I honestly believe Kelly left because he didn’t have what it takes to make players believe that ND is a better option not just for football but for life! The connection these players make while playing even if they never make it to the NFL is priceless!
Dang, I wish I was starting my career again i'de go play for this guy anyday.
Cannot wait to see what coach can do ☘️
lol
Fr. Jenkins Rocks my 🌎 Marcus earned it, neither rashly nor timidly He is ND
The way he acknowledges the president and father... 100% humility. A man who truly understands the chance they've given him. Love it.
I've never been more proud to be a ND fan! LETS GO!
When Lou Holtz came here, WNDU's Jeff Jeffers said "Katy, bar the door." He proved to be 100% right, and the same saying applies now!
As Adrian said to Rocky in "Rocky 2," Win. Win!
Notre Dame is what all programs strive to become and Coach Freeman is what all men should strive to become regardless of wins and loses on a football field. The 12th will come quickly under this leadership
Great interview! Freeman said all the right things. The program is in great hands. Looking forward to what he will bring to the program with his leadership and values.
Excited is an understatement
“Leaders are born, winners are created” can we please get a shirt made Notre Dame??
We got our guy, Go Irish ☘️

Very happy for former Buckeye Marcus Freeman. I wanted to see Luke Fickell take over at ND but it’s hard to argue against the decision they made. Congrats.
Fickell was going to jump to tOSU the moment Day leaves. ND wasn't going for that.
@@diggingmystyle luke fickell has a lower ceiling than Marcus Freeman.
ND lucky to retain and promote him. well deserved
I wish him nothing but luck
Good coach, better man.
Coach Freeman is THE GUY. So pumped. ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
I am over the moon happy!!
Coaches Freeman and Rees are the future of ND football!
GO IRISH 🍀
lol
The truth of the matter is this.. It wasn't just Marcus Freeman that decided to stay (and become head coach). It was also Tom Rees and every other coach and player on that sideline (as well as the recruits) that decided to stay because of Marcus Freeman and the influence he has. This was the year Brian Kelly's true colors got exposed. He decided to take his journey elsewhere (for $$) and everyone that has been watching things unfold since the announcement has a better understanding why it happened. Nobody left with BK to LSU after his many attempts to beg and plead for others to follow. It just goes to show what kind of influence Marcus Freeman did in his one year with Notre Dame and how well it resonated with Swarbrick, Jenkens, current players, as well as our future commitments. It's karma that we found out the problem of not winning that NC was not because of Brian Kelly's excuses but rather Brian Kelly himself. It's now that we realize where his head has been these last few years and that was to make himself look like an attractive hire elsewhere for more money. Marcus Freeman is a players coach with the fresh, young, winning mentality that's needed at Notre Dame. Why is he the guy for the job? Because he doesn't care about the money. He cares about his players, the university and getting the right guys that are the right fit to do what BK couldn't.. Win ND a National Championship. I couldn't be happier with this hire!
lol
So if colors matter or not, this man, black, white, brown, red or yellow, Marcus Freeman has a heart that beats loud and clear. Whether he makes it or not remains to be seen? I believe he is putting his best foot forward by what he says and I have no problem taking him at his word. Most importantly, is the ND players to a man came out for him and that is the best endorsement anyone could ask. GO IRISH!!!
Notre Dame is what all programs strive to be. Watching this speaks to what an admirable program and culture Notre Dame provides its student athletes. Coach Freeman is also what all men should strive to be win or lose as a football coach.
I’m really not a notre dame football fan but I love Marcus freeman he’s gonna bring notre dame a championship Brian Kelly left because he wanted the money and to win LSU a national championship I’d love to see a freeman Kelly national championship in the future go Marcus lead the way you’ve got this it’s gonna be now remember the titans spirit now in that lockeroom and on that football field go Irish
That’s my coach!
Gold Standard! Awesome!
I am exited for him as coach!! I hope he keeps Tommy Rees as offensive coordinator! His defense got better and better every week!
The right man...
Love Thee, Notre Dame

Respect Coach Knute Rockne:
It's Kuh - newt
Beat OK St this season and start out with a win at Ohio State next year then set college football on fire
Upgrade at HC. Nice
" Cheer, cheer for Old Notre Dame , wake up the echoes cheering her name . . . ."
I HATE Notre Dame but I LOVE Marcus Freeman!!
Marcus Freeman shares the same last name with Morgan Freeman but no relation. Marcus Freeman will look to bring Notre Dame it's first College Football 🏈 National Championship since 1988.
Never have been an Irish fan but have to say I like this young man!! Hope he does well. ND join a conference. Your not better than everybody else.
It is not that they think they are better then other Schools, it is the fact that they would lose money. They would have to share their money with a conference and it would affect their TV deals. They stand alone because they can.
It wasn't that long ago that there were lots of Independents , look it up. Michigan's Yost kept ND out of what was later called the Big 10 (much further back) and the rest is history.
Everyone says join a conference but no one can ever give a reason why they would need to
Well that's why brian kelly left he knew he had no integrity
Keep calling defense, have Tommy call offense..
Congratulations to Coach Freeman now go do what Brian Kelly couldn't do win a National Championship. GO IRISH
Imma be real I'm not going to beat around the bush y'all was fighting to get him as a defensive coordinator because LSU was coming after him Hardbody with 2.5 million he took less money because of Brian Kelley and his job security was better than Ed orgeron now Brian Kelley leaves and take the LSU job y'all knew Marcus Freeman was a good coach and you do not want to lose your head coach and defensive coordinator to LSU it was the smart thing to hire him as head coach kids loved Marcus Freeman and Brian Kelly you do not want to lose both of those coaches to LSU
Oh wow marcus freeman is half asian....didnt know that
Hope Coach Freeman can do a great job in spite of the necessity for cultural change at ND And what is that cultural change? ND must become a Catholic university again and not pay mouth service to that ideal. It would be a big step but a necessary one. Go Irish.
🍀🍀🍀🍀 GO IRISH! GREAT CHOICE
Nice guy, but I don’t see him lasting long….
What's the deal with Brady Quinn's tight suit pants? It looks like he has stretch pants on. He's kind of an odd guy.
Yeah..he looked so bored the whole time. I thought he was going to fire up the crowd.
is he the first black coach?
No
I give him one year
To dominate CFB? I agree
To take the Irish to a New Years Bowl? I couldn't agree more.
Advertising is taking over the world. Anything for the money.
I thought he was going to be brief, typical.
“What you mean by this?”
@@BigBills75 I meant Swarbrick, he started by saying he was going to be brief, he never is.
@@frankwhite2230 ah apologies i suppose thats what happens when you dont fully watch the video like I didnt do 😂
Good luck, everytime they lose, I wonder who's gonna get the blame?!🥳🤔
Hahaha.... 6-6 first season. He'll lose Fiesta Bowl to start it out
Let’s get real. Coach freeman is already closer to losing his job as a result of ND not making the playoffs. There’s no secret as to why he was given the helm of the ship. ND knew that they had a better chance of getting selected if they had a permanent coach and not just an interim one. This being the case, the AD will get right to the job of looking for a real head coach. It’s a shame, but it looks like we’ll have another Ty Willingham situation here, a Black coach who will be replaced in 2 years.
First of all Ty had 3 years, but we know his firing was not something ND should have done before he had 5. Secondly, was Fick a "real head coach" when he got the job at Cinn? Look at him now, the bigs are DROOLING over him! Peace.
I'll bet money your comment doesn't age well
@@michaelmcgee2026 lol
Even a Black Virgin Mary ain't gonna bring ND a championship!!!! 🤣👏🏽🤣👏🏽🤣👏🏽🤣
Y'all should never play or coach at ND or BYU....
@Peter Peterlini BLM Yeah a genius
Ok then
The fact that ur telling a RUclips comment section not to play or coach at ND tells me how much credibility your opinion has.
