    Hey everyone! Today, I’m excited to show you how to make these delicious maple sausage and cheese scones. They're the perfect blend of sweet and savory, making them an ideal breakfast treat.
    Ingredients:
    * 3 tablespoons maple syrup
    * Buttermilk (enough to make 1 cup of liquid with the maple syrup)
    * 1 egg
    * 381 grams all-purpose flour
    * 1 teaspoon baking powder
    * 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    * 1 teaspoon of salt
    * 1 teaspoon sugar
    * 1 1/2 sticks cold butter
    * 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
    * 1 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage (cooled)
    Instructions:
    * Wet Ingredients: Mix maple syrup and buttermilk to make 1 cup of liquid. Add 1 egg and mix well. Refrigerate.
    * Dry Ingredients: Weigh out 381 grams of flour. Add baking powder, baking soda, and sugar. Combine in a food processor with cold, diced butter. Pulse until it resembles coarse crumbs.
    * Cheese and Sausage: Add cheese to the food processor, pulse a few times. Transfer dry mix to a bowl, add cooled sausage.
    * Combine: Pour in wet mixture, mix lightly until a crumbly dough forms. Add a bit more buttermilk if too dry.
    * Kneading: Flour your counter, gently fold dough over 5 times. Avoid overworking.
    * Shape and Cut: Divide dough in half, shape each into a circle. Cut each circle into 8 triangles.
    * Freeze: Place scones on a lined baking sheet, freeze for 15 minutes.
    * Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake scones for 20 minutes until golden brown.
    * Maple Glaze:
    Melted butter
    Powdered sugar
    Maple syrup
    Mix to desired consistency and drizzle over scones.
