2016 Dodge Dart Transmission Fluid Flush
IN this video we are going to show you how to flush the transmission fluid on a 2016 Dodge Dart. Once the car is up in the air you will need a socket wrench to remove the bottom bolt to drain the transmission fluid. You didn't show where you filled it from, did you fill it at the valve body plug or from a different spot up top? I keep finding too many conflicting opinions.

On the opposite side above it there a plug
So once you drain the transmission fluid where do you do you go to the regular spot on top of the engine to put the transmission fluid back in

You left out the most important part that ppl want to see! I’d imagine that has something to do with Dodge being shady and wanting to sue or something (they want everyone to service their vehicles at their shops!).. So how did u fill it??? Is there another plug above the one on the side or did u have to use a pump of some sort?
Supposed to fill from the top of the transmission, just above and in front of the driver side CV axle, there is 24mm bolt/washer. That is where you fill and also use the "special" dip stick. There is also an easy to find trans fluid temp chart you also need to follow when checking fill level. I wouldn't let this guy work on my car. These short cuts might be enough to get you passed not having the $13 dip stick back and running guestimate. Not what I'd expect from a professional mechanic I am paying. Too many of these newer automatics are too prone to problems and expensive.

Did you add fluid with the engine off?
Use a hand pump to put fluid back in.
There is nothing wrong with filling this way people don’t know what they’re talking about yes you can fill it from the top but also you can fill it from the button with the pump usually it would start dripping around 3.5 quarts then you start the vehicle to let it circulate and run it though gears then you would be able to add about half a quart more and see a little drip occur and plug in the cap back in and wait till it gets to about 122 degrees you can check with a scanner while it’s running and then you can use the measuring tool and see if you’re at the right level should be about 25 when all set and done..

Yes we did. We tried doing it by gravity but there was no room

James Hughes I believe drained from the bottom. Filled through the side. He shows where at. You add whatever you remove

Is the transmision filter serviceable.
you don't need to do that typically. the only reason you would need to is if the transmission is already past the point of no return.

I need to see how to add the fluid. Where it is poured into.
Im sure you figured it out by now, but get you a pump that screws onto the bottle and pump it in like you would do a differential.

Used a thin hose and let it gravity fill. It took a while
