*Updates:* (11/30/21): Annoyingly, RUclips has removed the public dislike count. If you'd like to see the dislike count on this video, I suggest installing the 'Return RUclips Dislike' extension (Firefox, Chrome, Edge). *IMPORTANT UPDATE:* If you're running into an Error: Invalid and there's no Asm( command in the catalog then you've been suckered by TI. As of OS 5.5.1, the ability to run ASM programs has been removed so you get an Invalid error when you try to run some programs. There is no way to downgrade currently however, there is a jailbreak available. Learn more here: ruclips.net/video/abB0ZEdQ1rs/видео.html TI Connect CE has been updated so it no longer says 'Calculator Explorer'. The button is still in the same place, it just looks a bit different. Also, I would like to inform you guys that the emulator in this video has been updated and fixed. The button text will now appear correctly. Also, if you've fixed your issue after you commented here but didn't need my help, please still reply so I know you fixed it and how I could improve my video! :)
Whoops, dunno how I missed this! What error are you getting? Did you extract the files from the .zip first and send the *extracted* files to your calculator?
I'm getting a 'data type' error when opening up the downloaded games it specifically says "Wrong value or variable type entered. Ex: attempted to store a matrix to a list" What do i do?
@@pelleverplak3610 OK That error is pretty rare and I've never been able to nail down exactly what causes it. Just before you press [enter] to run the game, does the input line just look like "prgmFLAPPYB" or does it have something else on the line? Can you try downloading the version here: www.cemetech.net/downloads/files/1465 and trying it instead? If that doesn't work, try doing a RAM reset (be sure to Archive anything you don't want deleted) by pressing [2nd]>[+]>[7]>[1]>[2] or by holding down the reset button for at least 3 seconds.
I just want to tell you, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I have looked through all the online websites about how to fix this, but they were all too complicated or confusing. You earned a sub and a like.
Hi, all your videos are really amazing, I see you put a lot o job n them. Thank you so much for all the well job. I don't have that model of calculator, but with your tutorials, everything looks so easy!!! Thanks again.
I have a TI-84 Plus CE Python and am trying to install the artifice jailbreak. I keep getting the error “Unfortunately it looks like TI-84 Plus CE - DB75 has stopped talking to Ti Connect CE. Reconnect and retry the transfer.” I am retrying and I’m pretty sure I have everything good that is from the video. Do you know any solutions? I didn’t redownload the connect software maybe that’s the issue, but my calculator is recognized by the computer and I can see all my programs that I made on my calculator in the calculator explorer
for the first problem put solution 2 before solution 1. i went through the whole first solution just to immediately realize after that i just had to push the cable in more. video did help though thanks
All right then, exactly which calculator do you have? Were you using TI Connect or TI Connect CE? What file are you trying to send? Are you sure you're sending the *extracted* file to your calculator?
Uhh, I don't know how to fix that. You might want to try reinstalling it. If that doesn't work contact TI support here: education.ti.com/contact-us If you get it working, please tell me how you did it!
Question!!! So im still trying to connect my calculator to the computer but when i plugged in the cable the calculator didnt show up and so i couldnt get past that step. I tried pushing it harder but no use.
My calc is saying that there is a problem with the connectivity, under "error 16", and seperately, it will just disconnect when attempting to transfer programs, but it comes up normal on TI CONNECT CE. Anything on this? (latest OS too)
I have added games before onto my ti 84 ce pluse calculator but this time its not letting me i compressed or zipped it and it still wont read it i put it into the file holder for my cal and it says one or more files are invailed and cant be sent
Hey this video is really helpful but i wanted to ask what happens if it doesn't say extract all because for me it says extract files or extract to a specific folder and i dont know what to do.
When I try dragging the files to the calculator window, it wont work or show me the screen to send it to the calculator, any help please...? I tried the button at the top that says "Send content from your computer to connected calculators" but even that doesnt work. Im using a TI-84 Plus CE Python calculator, please help
helppp, idk if your going to see this. when i try and open the games it says need LibLoad. i did what u showed to do and when i go on the wesite, i dowload the file and idk where the 4 files are!?
It's changed a little bit since this video was updated. Now you only have to send the clibs.8xg file to your calculator. All four files are stored within that one file.
Press the little reset button on the back of the calculator. Alternatively you can press [2nd]>[+]>[7]>[1]>[2]. You'll lose any information that's stored in the RAM though! 16kb of RAM is not enough to run most programs. You should have over 100kb of RAM if you're sending programs to the Archive. Rewatch 5:58 if you need help with Archiving things on the calculator.
I have a memory error and I archive all of them. Its saying "Memory id insufficient to perform the calculation. Check infinite recursion or loops. Ex: Y1=Y1
5:58 is probably your best bet. If you still get the error, archive any important information and perform a RAM reset. Remember, there's a bunch of timestamps in the description ;)
Can anyone help me? I tried downloading 6 programs onto my TI 84 Plus CE but when I go to the prgm from the catalog it only shows one of the programs. The program that works is a Protected Program and has a symbol of 3 boxes in a pyramid, and the ones that don't work have a 3d cube and are the type "AppVar". all of them are on the ram. what do i do?
Hey, so AppVars aren't treated the same as programs. AppVars sole purpose is to store data that other programs can access so you won't find them under the prgm menu. You should always keep AppVars in the Archive memory since they're so large typically. So try Archiving them by pressing [2nd]>[+]>[2] then scroll down to the option 'AppVars' and click [enter]. Press [enter] on any AppVars that don't have an asterisk (the * symbol) next to them. Try running the program again, if it still doesn't work please reply and I'll keep helping.
You should just press the [prgm] button, then scroll to the program you want to run then keep pressing enter until it either runs or errors out. Watch this video again if it errors out. Read the Readme.txt file that should be included with the file you downloaded for instructions on how to use that program.
OK so you said you sent 6 programs to your calculator. Then you said only one that works is a Protected Program and the ones that don't work are AppVars. My original comment clarified that AppVars are *not* programs and will *not* appear under the [prgm] button. Since you haven't reported any errors when transferring the files, I assumed you actually sent 1 program and 5 AppVars totaling in the 6 files you sent to your calculator. It may help if you told me the name of the program(s) you're trying to send. With that said, just run the program that shows up under the [prgm] button and it will automatically use the AppVars by itself.
Hey Millennial! I have a TI 84. Not CE, not silver, just a basic TI 84. I couldn't connect it to my computer for some reason, everytime I plug it in my calculator's screen pause and then nothing. It doesn't make the sound on my computer or anything. I try searching for calculators on TI Connect and it doesn't show up. I really need your help.
Is that the original cable that came with your calculator? If not, it's probably a charging-only cable and you'll need to get one that has data communication as well.
@@annpersant Yes, the original cable definitely has data communication so it's a good way to tell if the calculator is messed up or if you just have a bad cable.
Please help I get "ERROR: INVALID Attempted to use a variable or function where it is not valid." I dragged both the NOTES.8xp and TFILES.8xp into the Calculator Explorer tab and then converted the .txt file to a .8xv file using the ConvText program, I am 99% sure I haven't made a mistake anywhere in the setup and that this is a problem with my calculator in someway though I am not sure.
How can I resolve if my TI-84 Plus CE displays on my Device Manager, but will not be detected on TI Connect CE. Even tried with different pc's and different cables. But, all have same results.
I'm sorry for the late reply! Thank you for including all that information, it's really useful! This is either going to be an easy fix or it's going to be difficult, hopefully it's easy. Try RAM resetting your calculator by pressing the little 'reset' button on the back of it then try to connect it to your computer again. If that doesn't work then I'd like for your to try a self-test on the calculator's USB port. You'll need another TI 84 Plus CE (a friend's calculator will work just fine) and the mini-USB to mini-USB cable that came with your calculator. Refer you to this video: ruclips.net/video/G1PR43Ol9T8/видео.html run test 9, check the description for the index. If your calculator fails to send packets, then there's definitely a problem with the USB port. Please tell me the results!
Is it giving you an error? If so, which one? Did you try going to the calculator explorer, clicking on the icon that shows an arrow pointing to the calculator, and sending the file that way? Are you sure you are sending extracted files to the calculator?
You can't open TI-Connect CE? That sounds like either an Apple issue or a TI issue. Contact TI about it via education.ti.com/en/customer-support in the meantime, if you have Chrome installed, you can try to use the website ticalc.link
Yeah, that's not nearly enough RAM to run most programs. Make sure to Archive all your files except the ones you need to run that particular program. If you have OS 5.3.0 (or newer) you can simply Archive everything and never have to worry about unArchiving. If you don't want to update, you can install a shell called Cesium; it allows you to run Archived and ASM programs quickly. Cesium also has a backup feature that will protect your files from a RAM reset! You can learn more about it here: www.cemetech.net/programs/index.php?mode=file&id=1372 You can view a video that spotlights all of the backup features here: ruclips.net/video/hZDzV1CDN3k/видео.html I use Cesium and I have about 140,000 bytes of RAM free which is more than enough to run any game.
TheLastMillennial I figured out what it was. I downloaded calculazap but I had a separate program that was interfering with downloads so it wasn’t extracting properly. But thanks anyways and good job on the quick response, honestly wasn’t expecting it.
TheLastMillennial I don’t know how many other people that might have or will have this problem but it might be worth adding that if it isn’t extracting properly it could be because of a third party program
5:25 You're saying that i dont need to use ASM to run BASIC programs, what do i need then? i'm trying to download tetris on an non colour version. Thanks
That could mean you're trying to run a program that's just not compatible with your calculator. Be sure the program is specifically made for non color TI-84s
If you press [2nd]>[+]>[2]>[1] and scroll through the list of items on your calculator, do you see all three files you sent? If not, then they didn't successfully transfer and you'll have to try again.
TheLastMillennial No it didn’t help, Im trying to put notes on my calculator with the app TFILES and NOTES. I can only see the notes that I wrote if I click on EDIT instead of EXEC. But when I click on edit than my notes look like a mess it is not the same as if you click on Exec. (Sorry for my english tho Im from the Netherlands)
So I got a ton of games. I Pressed 2nd 0 to go to catalog, and then I pressed asm(. Then I pressed prgrm, and selected the game oriam.I pressed enter again. Then it gave me an error message.I also tried pressing the program I wanted and then enter but that didn't work. Can you please help.
I have a problem where it says that one or more files are invalid. I have watched your video multiple times on that section. I had TiLP on my computer aswell as the original Ti connect. I also had Ti Connect Ce. I uninstalled all the programs like you said. I then reinstalled TI Connect CE. I have a Ti84 plus and a ti84 plus ce. Send Files to the CE went great and i was able to install mario and Geometry dash. It worked well. I followed the same procedures for the Ti84 (using files that were black and white and made for the ti84). I kept sending me the Invalid files message on the computer. I first thought that it might be a compatibility issue, so i updated the OS to 2.55mp. I then reinstalled Ti connect and did a ram reset on the calc and tried to drop the files again. I didnt work. Any thoughts?
I'm sorry! Somehow I missed this comment! Are you sure you were sending *extracted* files to your TI 84 plus? Also, we're you only sending .8xp or .8xv files to it?
Hmm that's odd, could you please send me a link to the file? Can you send any other programs to your TI-84 Plus or is it every program that errors out?
@@TheLastMillennial yes I could send some files over tomorrow. But yeah 75% of files would be rejected, and of the few that were accepted onto the calculator, 1/2 would not execute.
Great video, thank you. Have you ever seen this error: it's on a Ti-84 Plus on Mac "errors occurred while sending .8xk. a distribution list, containing the device(s) which returned an error, was created for each file". Some .8xk files work fine, most are getting that error.
Thanks! TI-Connect CE for Mac is kind of broken. You can try using tiLP to send the application instead. You'll have to uninstall TI Connect to avoid driver incompatibilities. lpg.ticalc.org/prj_tilp/
I'm going to need some more information. Is it a Basic, Python, or ASM game? Did you look under the [prgm] button? Are you certain it actually sent? Does this happen to every program you try?
what kinda app is named xxxx? That sounds like a problem right there, you might want to re download it, maybe something went wrong the first time. I know occasionally I'll get an error and get a 0kb application which, of course, makes no sense.
That's weird, what OS are you running? Windows, Mac, Linix? Does your computer give you some error when you attempt to view it? Do you know the file extension of the file? Which program is this for? If possible, could you provide a link to where you got it? A different way to view it is If you got the file from Cemetech.net you can view the readme by going to the file download page, then near the bottom you should see a list with of a bunch of file names. Click on the red ReadMe link to open it.
Hey don't worry! Like ModderKevin said, press the 'reset' button on the back of your calculator to get it back to normal. Note the game and your progress will most likely be deleted and you'll need to reinstall the game. I suggest you install the latest version of DK since the original version would immediately crash: ceme.tech/DL1604 . To prevent crashes from deleting your data, I suggest installing a shell called Cesium. I personally use it and it has saved my programs countless times. I've made a video spotlighting its backup features here: ruclips.net/video/hZDzV1CDN3k/видео.html you can download the file here: ceme.tech/DL1372
Ok, exactly which calculator do you have? What program did you download? Which file were you trying to send (include the file extension name)? Did you try dragging the file(s) to your desktop then from your desktop to TI Connect CE? Are you sure you're on the 'calculator explorer' tab?
Thanks for all the information Amani! So you're sure your file was extracted? Were you were already on the calculator tab? You can't drag to the tab since TI Connect CE wont automatically switch to that tab, you need to be already on that tab then drag the file over to the calculator's name (which should be highlighted blue). One more thing, are you sure you got Tetris file from the CSE category rather than the CE category? Try getting it from here: www.cemetech.net/programs/84pcse/asm/games/tetrica.zip
Sorry it took me so long to get to this! Exactly what calculator do you have? What file are you trying to send? Did you try dragging the file to your desktop first then dragging it to ti connect?

Hmm, so TIBoyCE doesn't appear on your calculator? What happens if you use the icon in the top left of TI Connect CE to send the file, does it give you any errors? You wont see the Pokemon Red under the [prgm] button, you'll need to run TIBoyCE to see and play the game.

When I put in the program on my calculator, it says error: invalid; Attempted to use a variable or function where it is not valid, did I download the files correctly? Im on mac btw, I also have a python version of the calc

I have the program on my calculator and the example pictures included in the zip file work extraordinarily well (seriously I'm impressed good job!!) but my picture doesn't show up correctly at all. I followed the read me file and everything, but my picture is very distorted. Is there a video or something somewhere that explains in slightly better detail how to fill out the "convpng.ini" file? OK, I'm not too familiar with Mac. Do you have another machine you can test the cable on? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling TI-Connect CE? Does your Mac recognize the device is plugged in at all? (Do you see a Texas Instruments device in device manager?)

Make sure the I/O port (the one that looks like a headphone jack) doesn't have any debris in it. You can also try a RAM reset or and OS reinstall by following one of my tutorials (timestamps are in the description) ruclips.net/video/8HlPgS0elRM/видео.html
When I try to put a file on my calc I get: Errors occurred while sending FRUIT.8Xp. A distribution list, containing the device(s) which returned an error, was created for each file.
That's a new one for me. Exactly which calculator do you have? Are you sure you're using TI Connect *CE* ? Are you able to send any other files to your calculator such as this program: ceme.tech/DL1627 (it's designed to work on every type of TI 84 so it should send to yours if compatibility is the issue).
Not all files are written to be compatible with your calculator. What file are you trying to send (with the download link if possible)? I may be able to tell you if it's compatible or not.
@@TheLastMillennial i was trying to send Oiram(Mario).zip drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1gVkYlXKX5efM9LAWqJE18x1-rRJXoX9F which i downloaded from ti84calcwiz's website that's for the ti 84 plus ce
Huh that's strange, those files work on my TI 84 Plus CE. Perhaps something went wrong when you downloaded the files, try re-downloading them or getting them from a different site such as Cemetech. Just checking, you're sure you don't have a TI 84 Plus CSE? The TI 84 Plus CSE also has a color screen however it's as thick as a regular TI 84 Plus and isn't compatible with TI 84 Plus CE programs.
I extracted it, but the file says 8x not .8x, when I tried to get a different game instead it still said 8x not .8x, and refused to work, even if I extracted it and everything. Do you by any chance know how to change it from an 8x to a .8x file?
Where did you get those programs? I've never heard of that issue before which makes me think that those files aren't designed for your calculator. The files should be .8xp or .8xv there's no such extension of just .8x EDIT: can you try sending this file to your calculator? It's a program I wrote that supports every TI 84 type calculator; please tell me if it worked for you: www.cemetech.net/programs/index.php?mode=file&id=1627
That's strange, I don't know what you could've downloaded. Can you give me a link to the file you downloaded? Did the file I linked earlier work for you?
Are you sure it's not a compatibility issue? Could you please provide a link to the program download? Just to be clear, your calculator says exactly TI 84 Plus at the top and nothing else?
Ah, well it certainly should be a compatibility issue then. TI84CalcWiz only provides programs made specifically for *color* calculators such as the TI 84 Plus CSE and the TI 84 Plus CE. Just about every game on his site is not compatible with any monochrome calculators such as the TI 83 Plus or the TI 84 Plus (SE). Instead, I'd suggest looking at other sites with games compatible with your calculator such as Cemetech.net , TIplanet.org , or ticalc.org . I've made a video about how to download programs from each site here: ruclips.net/video/gwctk-E0XXc/видео.html (it's kinda lengthy, but informative). The best time stamps for you would be at 3:15 , 4:07 and 4:54 . If you want to test if *any* program is working, you can try my program JPL, it's compatible with every TI 84 due to it being written in BASIC (remember you don't need the Asm( token for BASIC programs). If it doesn't run, that means there's something bigger going on. Hope this helped! Please let me know if you still encounter issues. :)
Ok so I just used cemetech instead and it all worked out but on the calculator when I pressed 2nd, 0, clicked on asm, then program and clicked enter, it just said asm(prgmPONG Done. I’m sure this is an easy fix So I’m going to thank you ahead of time
Hey I haven’t seen anyone ask this but when I tried to put any games from the calcwiz website it read as protected program every time I put it into my calculator following all the steps. It prevents me from opening it now and the error says “check all the arguments” or something like that. Funny thing is, I downloaded the algebra one things on the same website and it shows up as a program and functions properly. Just to be clear they all go to the program directory, just the protected programs show the error.
Jeez, I'm sorry I'm so late to this, I hadn't check my 'Likely spam' section in forever! :( So you're getting an Argument error? That means there may be something wrong with the code in the program itself. Which program were you trying to run?
I'm not sure what your problem is either, could you please reword you issue? So you can't send a file to neither the RAM nor the Archive? Or is the issue that you can't run the programs? Exactly which calculator do you have? What OS are you running? (check by pressing [2nd]>[+]>[1] it should be the second line) What program(s) are you trying to send/ run?
@@TheLastMillennial I have a ti 83 plus. I am attempting to Mario on my calculator. I can send it to my archive but not the ram. When I try to send it to ram there is no option for that. Only don't send. I am using os 1.19 I think
Oh so you're not even using a TI 84 type calculator and you're probably using the old TI Connect... It could be that Mario is an App instead of a program; that would explain why it can't be sent to the RAM, apps can only be sent to the Archive. To access the game, do you find it under the [prgm] button or the [apps] button? It's not a bad thing if the app only sends to the Archive, that means it shouldn't be deleted if you encounter a RAM clear.
Hmm, if you press [2nd]>[+]>[2]>[1] a list of all the contents of your calculator will appear. Scroll through them all and see if you can find it. Could you please give me a download link to the program you're trying to send? I'll see if the program wont work for me too. Also, can you send *any* program to your calculator?
Unfortunately I don't. What exactly is wrong? Perhaps it could be a software issue. I'd suggest posting on the HP forum here: www.hpmuseum.org/forum/forum-5.html the developers of the HP Prime monitor that thread and can likely help you out.
Hey could you help me. I got the program on my calculator, and your example image of the blue moon works perfectly. When I convert my own images however, They are all fuzzy and have weird colors being unviewable. I know its the right image from the shape, but its very distorted
You've most likely edited the .ini file incorrectly. Are you sure you've followed the instructions in it closely? I'm working on an update that comes with a Windows picture converter. It should make converting images a heck of a lot easier. Hopefully I'll be able to release it within the coming week.

Wat. Does your computer say that or the calculator? Does your calculator communicate with your computer anyways? Did you try a different cable or USB port?

@TheLastMillennial I have a TI-48 Plus CE-T python edition, and i think I did everything right, I didn't get any errors, but it somehow just doesn't appear at the catalog ( also not at apps). Could you please help me?
heyy.. my problem is everytime when I play geometry dash it works all right for a minute then my calculator does suddenly a restart and clears all the RAM by itself... I reinstalled and tried it again and even estarted my calculator but it still happens.. i have an TI 84 PLUS CE-T
Hmm, does this happen with any other game or just geo dash? If it happens to other programs, I'd suggest trying a OS reinstall, there's a tutorial for that here: ruclips.net/video/8HlPgS0elRM/видео.htmlm21s if geo dash is the only program that this happens in, then it's a problem with the program itself, I don't know if I can help you. There should be a way to contact the developer in the ReadMe.txt that's included with the download, if you don't see a contact, try going to the place you downloaded the program and see if you can find some contact info there. Sorry I couldn't really help, good luck!
Learn more here: ruclips.net/video/abB0ZEdQ1rs/видео.html

Is it the cable that came with the calculator? If not it may only support charging
My calc is saying that there is a problem with the connectivity, under "error 16", and seperately, it will just disconnect when attempting to transfer programs, but it comes up normal on TI CONNECT CE. Anything on this? (latest OS too)

It's changed a little bit since this video was updated. Now you only have to send the clibs.8xg file to your calculator. All four files are stored within that one file.
4:00 TheLastMillennial, the music you had here is no longer available. Do you have another link for the song? (I don't think it's on yt)

I keep trying to apply these games but they are not working and 4:05 isn't helping. I moved it and nothing happened. I have the TI-84 Plus CE
What happens when you try to send the file by using the 'send to calculator' button in the top left? What file are you trying to send?
I did what you said for the memory error but it continues to say memory error.
Hmm, if you press [2nd]>[+]>[2] how much RAM does it say you have free? If you RAM reset, does the program start working?
How do I do RAM reset?
Also, I have 16kB for RAM.
If I press the reset button, will I also lose information on the Archive?
When is drag to files into the calculator nothing happens im using TI connect CE
*sigh* Did you watch the video?
i actually can't do anything on my ti-84+ i try to send files throught and it always says "not enough storage" no matter where i send it
I have a memory error and I archive all of them.
@@TheLastMillennial You said run the program? How do i do that? which buttons do i press (sorry for the late response)
You should just press the [prgm] button, then scroll to the program you want to run then keep pressing enter until it either runs or errors out. Watch this video again if it errors out. Read the Readme.txt file that should be included with the file you downloaded for instructions on how to use that program.
I told you, its not showing up when I press program
OK so you said you sent 6 programs to your calculator. Then you said only one that works is a Protected Program and the ones that don't work are AppVars. My original comment clarified that AppVars are *not* programs and will *not* appear under the [prgm] button. Since you haven't reported any errors when transferring the files, I assumed you actually sent 1 program and 5 AppVars totaling in the 6 files you sent to your calculator. It may help if you told me the name of the program(s) you're trying to send. With that said, just run the program that shows up under the [prgm] button and it will automatically use the AppVars by itself.

Hi, I have the Ti 84-Plus Ce and when I plug the USB cable into my Mac running High Sierra, it charges but won't show up on the page for connected calculators? Is the cable the problem, or just the app troubleshooting? Maybe the Mac itself? Needing to know, taking a closed-note test for Advanced Algebra soon and need to download some Apps. Thanks!
OK, I'm not too familiar with Mac. Do you have another machine you can test the cable on? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling TI-Connect CE? Does your Mac recognize the device is plugged in at all? (Do you see a Texas Instruments device in device manager?)
@@TheLastMillennial I have two Macs and a Chromebook, and all three devices didn't recognize the device. When I plugged the calculator into each device, it would charge the device but the Ti Connect CE app wouldn't recognize a calculator plugged in. Where can I find the device manager tab? Honestly, It might just be the cable, since I couldn't find the cable that came with the calculator and the cable that I used was for charging only. Sorry I missed this for so long, RUclips marked it as 'potential spam' for some reason and I didn't notice.
Are you sure the program is compatible with your calculator? Depending which Tetris you downloaded, it may not work with your specific calculator.
You could've also downloaded a BASIC game, this can be easily identified if the program runs without the Asm( token. It's likely the previous issue though.
Exactly which calculator do you have? Could you provide a download link to the game you're trying to run? Thanks for including so much information! :)
i got my games from www.ti84calcwiz.com/ti84plusce-games

This will probably get lost but even when I have all my files in the archive my calculator still says I don't have enough memory. Is there a fix for that?
How much Archive and RAM do you have left and what are you trying to send?
Do you know a program or app similar to "plysmlt2" for the TI 84 Plus CE?
I saw your original comment, that app should be perfectly compatible with your calculator. Can you try RAM resetting by pressing the little button on the back of the calculator for at least 2 seconds? If that doesn't work, could you please tell me your OS version? When I try to send the files to my calculator it says that the files are invalid. Is this because I have winrar installed or is there another reason?
You need to extract the files from the .zip folder then send the extracted files.

A retry may be successful. (8C010001)" After many retries and reinstalls, and replugs, nothing. Anything to try to help this?
Have you tried using TI-Connect CE? It's compatible with the whole TI-84 family.
@@TheLastMillennial I tried that, nothing shows up on the "connect a calculator" screen.

Are you able to send any other files to your calculator such as this program: ceme.tech/DL1627 (it's designed to work on every type of TI 84 so it should send to yours if compatibility is the issue).
it keeps saying it's "not for you" .... but i have a TI-84 Plus CE so idk what the issue is
Not all files are written to be compatible with your calculator.
TheLastMillennial yes I’m sure I have a TI 84 plus ce. I’ll try downloading from Cemetech though, thank you!
@Jade any luck yet?
I extracted it, but the file says 8x not .8x, when I tried to get a different game instead it still said 8x not .8x, and refused to work, even if I extracted it and everything. Do you by any chance know how to change it from an 8x to a .8x file?
also, I thought it was just that game that didn't work, but the same thing happened for the rest of the games
I am trying to send mario to the calculator, and my calculator is the ti-84 plus ce, the blue one(don't think the color matters but just to make sure)
@@TheLastMillennial I got those from the texas instruments website
That's strange, I don't know what you could've downloaded. Can you give me a link to the file you downloaded? Did the file I linked earlier work for you?
Why does it say 8xp files are incompatible?
You mean like 2:52 ? Most likely you're trying to send a program that was designed for a calculator other than yours.
When I try to play the programs I enter them and Mario starts when I click enter by geometry dash just says done over and over album doesn’t start
Something went wrong when you installed geometry dash. Try deleting the program and re-installing it.
I tried to run Pac-Man on my calculator but it says error:invalid. I have a Ti-84 plus so I don’t think compatibility is an issue
Are you sure it's not a compatibility issue? Could you please provide a link to the program download? Just to be clear, your calculator says exactly TI 84 Plus at the top and nothing else?
TheLastMillennial thanks for the quick reply. I used ti84calcwiz.com to download pac man and my calculator does say Ti-84 plus at the top
TheLastMillennial thank you so much I will try using cemetech instead and tell you how it goes
Ok so I just used cemetech instead and it all worked out but on the calculator when I pressed 2nd, 0, clicked on asm, then program and clicked enter, it just said asm(prgmPONG Done. I’m sure this is an easy fix So I’m going to thank you ahead of time
when I send mario to my calculator and try to open it it says error Invalid
Refer to the pinned comment
Which program were you trying to run?
my problem is when trying to send something to the ram. I have two options on some files archive or don't send. I'm not sure what the problem is
I'm not sure what your problem is either, could you please reword you issue?
@@TheLastMillennial I send it to archive and it doesn't show up.

Hey Pal. Do you fix these by chance? Or know someone who does?
