Thanks for the reminder about how useful is the pressurized water tank you made. That is an ingenious invention. All of the practical comments about the gadgets, way of life on the road and organization of the van are really interesting and helpful for us out here who are thinking of going nomadic but still stuck on the "hamster wheel" and trapped in the endless cycle of work-and-spend. 👍🏼🙂
Something I learned from a long time boon docker's video, when preparing food at a camp site picnic table, put down a vinyl table cloth first so the table won't pick up the smell from food and attract wildlife. I don't camp and don't have an RV yet, I'm just learning and preparing for early retirement next year.
Wyoming is stunning! I saw the most bizarre snow of my life crossing the Tetons in April! I'm so glad you started giving more highway and interstate and town/city names as your channel progressed. I love finding the places in my Rand McNally as you go ✨️😁✨️
AdVaMa, I subscribed, thumbs up! I love your shower, gotta make one of those. I do have one issue with your breakfast - that coffee cup. Noooooo! It was a plastic cup, right? Listen to your elder - stop at a Goodwill and get a couple of really nice bone china, tall, not wide mouth, fine cups to really enjoy your coffee! Wide cups make coffee get cold too quickly. Listen, it will cause you to really enjoy your coffee! Believe me. Do that for me, please.
Hello, Brian. I had discovered your video a week or so ago. I am delighted seeing a young fellow living a free life and doing what he chose to do, free of debts and enjoying his life.I get to see your country free and taking a delight from it. It's my fix up, so to speak of, getting an insight of rural country side.Am from Australia in New Soth Wales and as a lady of going on 72. I would do the same.Enjoy life.Oh yes. I write the towns names down and look it up on google, it sure gives me a kick.
Brian, Place a strip of electrical tape from the top of the shower bottle to the bottom, then spray paint the bottle black. Once dried remove the tape. The water will get hotter, and it'll get hot quicker. If you have a black surface to set it on that will help even more.
Great video..brought back memories of last summer. Drove much of that route thru Wyoming..visiting Yellowstone and then East out of the park..then thru Cody. I headed South..was heading to Mississippi. Have fun and keep following your dreams !
Hey Brian. Nice to see that you are still making progress. Seems like you are really enjoying yourself and the journey. Looking forward for the next video and destination.
Nice camping ground looked like...hey? have you ever considered using organic coconut oil..while your at Walmart get it there... also you can read at Pinterest the benefits of that...I think you will like the reasons why... Happy Trails!
+AdventureVanMan Those burritos that you made reminded me of Santana's.That was a place that was located in the shelter island area they made some killer California burritos they where so yummy.
Hi A.V.M. Thats stunning scenery. The first tunnel doesnt have much reinforcing concrete. I wonder how they assessed the stability of the rock to make the decision, to construct the tunnel that way. Stay safe, healthy, happy and contented my friend.
Thanks for the video, I really like the driving videos, shows me parts of the country I have yet to see. And thanks for the info on the sprayer, one will go on my list of things I need :)
Dude! You are supposed to blow your horn twice when you enter a tunnel or cross state lines. Next time I film myself doing that in a video I will give you a shout out :).
At the end of the video when you were talking about your water system setup behind you right at the tree line there was something walking behind the bushes and it traveled behind you and then stopped behind a tree it looked like a person because it looked light in color but I could not make out what it was even on my large screen TV. But you said there were no people in the campground that's why it caught my eye wondering what the heck it was?
Its lower elevation than Yellowstone so it was much warmer, but they get cold winters as it is up north. I considered showering at walmart to gain some troll viewers but they will find me in time 😂👍✌🚐
+AdventureVanMan; that would be an interesting video. I can see the news now: guy living in a van arrested at local Walmart while taking a shower in his underwear. 😂😂
This, too, was a lot of fun; again the road time, the camping time...it's almost like we're there with you. But what's with the dash-cam pointing at the sky? I felt like I had a crick in my neck!
good luck in ND. I am in Minnesota and I am heading south for the winter. I have spent one to many winter here in the cold north. I am looking forward to warmer weather.
+AdventureVanMan Don't mean to highjack the thread but Brian what do they pay, how long did you work, and did you happen to get any videos while at the harvest? Really enjoy your videos and wish you would make more. Take care and safe travels. jman
The sugar beet harvest pays $12/hr. 12 hours shifts, so time and a half after 8hours. Saturday pays time and a half the whole 12hour shift. Sunday is double time whole shift. Usually around 2 weeks of work. It is a great way to make some good money in a short time frame. I did get some video and will do a full review soon. Thanks jman!
+AdventureVanMan Man, that's a nice chunk of change! Looking forward to the video as I do all the others. Take care my friend and don't work so hard that you lose your joy. Great to see you happy. jman
Brian , you are doing a awesome job, with everything. I hope one we can meet and I would gladly pay u to help out with some of your talents. I don't want to discuss my plans on a open forum. But it would not be competing with you....soon stay safe
I'm a senior single woman. My friends won't believe me when I tell em I watched a man shower tonight. 😂 You sounded so happy right from the start & hope you are just as happy now as you were then. ✌
Very pretty country. One quibble with your video - when driving, the camera angle is slightly up, and really should be level, if possible. The wide-angle lens causes some distortion and becomes apparent when the angle is skewed.
"How sweet! How passing sweet, is solitude. Yet, still grant me a friend in my retreat, to whom I may whisper, 'Solitude is sweet.'" . . . . . .That is to say, I've always wanted to live in a van alone, but in my van fantasies, I visit family and friends a lot, still have my job, have people visit me in my van, and still run my online channel from my van. I'm an extroverted introvert.
So I do have a question that's been pressing me with all the vandwelling vids I've seen from different folks. I never see anyone actually cleaning their dishes outside and wanted to know how you clean your dishes outside...if your cleaning the food out of the dishes where are you putting it or are you just washing out onto the ground. Thanks Brian.
Yes, thanks Brian, I guess I've missed the cleaning sections...ha! I'm one of those pack it in pack it out folks and as I get closer to hitting the road full time I just want to get as many tips as possible when it comes to cleaning and not encouraging the wildlife to stop by under those terms...much appreciation. Have an unbeetable week...
G'day AdventureVanMan, I was wondering if you could give me some info on what you are using as your shower head? Amazon only sells books in Australia (where I live) so I can't buy it from there. Any details, or even an eBay link would be much appreciated. Cheers
Dude Love WY and Montana, I did WY this yr and did montana for 1 1/2 months last yr. Dude what yah doing paying for camping in MT man, way to many free site, and on free land you dont even have to wear shorts. Nudity is legal there. Thats just me I guess I like clean when I do it. Hi A.V.M.
Thats stunning scenery.
The first tunnel doesnt have much reinforcing concrete. I wonder how they assessed the stability of the rock to make the decision, to construct the tunnel that way.

I think it was a deer!
I just started watching & subbed you. I think your life is interesting. How did you learn to cook so well?
like your portable shower pump, that's a must have for myself.
I love it! In colder weather I boil about 2quarts of water and add it to the water in the pump bottle and it comes out at a nice warm tempature.
Love that area of the country..
It is very beautiful country :)
You should paint that bottle black so it warms faster !
Beautiful area Wyoming. You probably not there anymore, but how's the weather around those parts?
Drive safe, and no showers at Walmart. 😂😄👍🏻🚐
Its lower elevation than Yellowstone so it was much warmer, but they get cold winters as it is up north. I considered showering at walmart to gain some troll viewers but they will find me in time 😂👍✌🚐

+Rolling Earth-Ship Your right no showers at Walmart since Nomadic Fanatic did it and there was 40 kinds of hell as a result of it, lol!!
+Nomadic Traveler; I might try just to see what happens, but first I need boxers like Brian. 😂😂👍🏻🚐
never been to montana but it looks so nice...
I hope you didn't miss the beautiful scenery leaving so early
This, too, was a lot of fun; again the road time, the camping time...it's almost like we're there with you.
But what's with the dash-cam pointing at the sky? I felt like I had a crick in my neck!
Thanks, yes I made some adjustments on the cam mount to fix the angle :)
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thank you :)
good luck in ND. I am in Minnesota and I am heading south for the winter. I have spent one to many winter here in the cold north. I am looking forward to warmer weather.

Did you do a tutorial on how you changed your spray water pump ?

Question I have is how you put the spray nozzle on the flexible tube. Thanks Brian really enjoy your upbeat vids

i like your opening music
Thanks, I recorded it back when I still had my guitar and gear. I actually slowed the tempo down digitally with my recording software.
So I do have a question that's been pressing me with all the vandwelling vids I've seen from different folks. What do you do for work and do you do the same thing at every stop ?
G'day AdventureVanMan, I was wondering if you could give me some info on what you are using as your shower head? Amazon only sells books in Australia (where I live) so I can't buy it from there. Any details, or even an eBay link would be much appreciated. Cheers
Looks like ebay has some. Search 'kitchen sink side sprayer'
