That easy way of making tacos on the road looks fantastic! I love how you are very positive, but are okay with saying that you don't like the campground and why. Thank you so much for making these.
One of those sheep gave me bad directions when I was there, I recognize him, he's the one looking at you funny thinking; darn it, another white van. 😂😄👍🏻🚐
Having that drone definitely makes the views much nicer! I did a 3k mile roadtrip there in 2015, wish I would have known some of those camping spots! cheers!
This is the first video where I've seen you dissatisfied about anything. I had no idea that Badlands had so much wildlife! That is the beauty of solar power, no noise!
Brian, your videos are my favorite, other than the one that I watch a man work, sleep, and eat. (oh and shower, heh, heh) But yours are much better than the ones where people are taking us touring museums, cheese factories, downtown areas, and such. Bleh.. But, we all are different and it's nice we have so many cool videos to choose from which people take time to put on RUclips for us. Much appreciated! 2 woofs!!!
This has been the favorite of the campsites you've been to, although I prefer those near water, you can't beat all that wildlife you saw on th way in. Awesome.
Hi Brian With your drone, if there is a breeze, fly it into the wind when you fly away, and with the wind on return. If you fly with the wind at the start and it starts to blow, you could have problems on the return flight. If you get caught on return, get down as low as possible. Thanks for the interesting videos, I enjoy them.
I love the buffalo just cruising down the road. That happens at Caprock Canyons State Park in Texas as well. Badlands is on my list to get to one day, hopefully in the next 2-3 years after I figure out what type of RV/camper to get. I have a 19' travel trailer right now but it's not fun to tow long distances.
Bison have feelings too. He probably won't like your comment on his aroma when he sees this. lol That fellow was big! Did you say the prairie dogs have the Plague? I have never heard of that before. We just call them Gophers here. Thanks for sharing!
Through all my traveling the Badlands were the only ones that scared me enough to give me nightmares. I solo hiked and felt totally alone in the world and the whole world was Badlands.
I gotta have one of those bucket seats! Great idea with the propane inside. Good use of space saving. Tacos looked very good. Great scenery. I love the off grid campsites you find but would not be quite as brave as you concerning mud and dirt roads...lol! Loved the music in this vid too!
Thanks for the videos. I will never make it to the places you are going and I really enjoy your comments. Funny how we get a bad feeling about a place, that may be something for the scientists to look into. Since it happens to everyone, it is not paranormal and may be key to man's survival. Glad you are having fun between jobs!
Just a weird note: Avoid using metal utensils in anything tomato based like salsa. The metal reacts with the acid and make it spoil much faster. :) Just binge watching ur vid's. Very cool! Thank you!
sweetie I know it is probably safe but I worry about you sitting on top of that propane tank! there used to be a lot of Bison on Camp Pendleton in Oceanside California but I heard that they punch them all up and send them to use that makes me very upset! love seeing the wildlife awesome! thank you so much for the videos Brian!
Aw man sorry you didn't like Sage Creek, we were there in October for 3 days and it was great. Probably a much busier scene this time of year. The vault toilet was a mess there, sure even worse in the summer. We stopped exactly where you did to check it out and almost left for the same reasons. Some hipster kids were mean mugging us the whole time, probably because they thought we were setting up there, and right before we bailed a really nice full timing couple invited us over to park in that area where that trailer was. Watched the bison walk through the tents as the sun went down. Had them 3 feet from the Rv it was crazy! Don't blame you, that Buffalo Gap spot has way better views and seclusion. Awesome video Brian! Love the drone footage in Badlands.
I like your camera set up where it shows both the road and you. What is it? I and 2 friends are going next month. A 5 yr. dream for me. I am so excited! Love how you've done all this.
Wow Brian! Looks great, views, food, videos, excellent! You think I could pull my 25' travel trailer to those places? My truck is 4x4, and it'll pull about anything, trailer height worries me though.
Sage creek road is a great drive! I tried like 50 times to get a prairie dog pic - they were too fast for me! How did you get that pic of three of them?! Great video Brian. Julie
Noticed on this video and another one where you good, Greenlife pans. Are they worth the price? Have old pans now and they stick a lot when I cook. Love the area you were in. Great spot to camp. Thanks
Pretty cool video I think it would be great to go around and see all that stuff how long have you had your dometic refrigerator and is it still working good for you
Brian, in the non-drone shots, what are you using to record your vids? Digital video recorder, or camera in video mode? Or is this on a phone? So much to chose from nowdays. My six year old camera makes terrible videos. Enjoy your travel stories, great job. , I have to get to SD again this summer, its been a while. thanks
another great video. question what type of drone are you using for your aerial drone footage any chance we could get a look at and how do you like? Thanks for any information in advance I'm glad I found your channel.
Another oldie but goodie😁, thank you for sharing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I found it extremely iconic when Brian drove past that Bison. Brian is like a modern version of Dances with Wolves.
Phenomenal video! From The big sky, to the bison, to the great looking tacos, fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Very Cool! The Bison had more manners then some humans about sharing the road. The 3 little animals great!Wonderful shots.
GREAT scenery and wildlife shots. You're making me have tacos for lunch.
That easy way of making tacos on the road looks fantastic! I love how you are very positive, but are okay with saying that you don't like the campground and why. Thank you so much for making these.

This has been the favorite of the campsites you've been to, although I prefer those near water, you can't beat all that wildlife you saw on th way in. Awesome.
What a beautiful spot, the drone footage at the end was awesome!
That footage at the end from the drone was amazing.

+stringbender57 Thank you. The backroads become less intimidating the more you use them :)

wow I should have read that before I posted it... bunched them all up and sent them to the zoo!
Never knew they had Bison on Camp Pendleton.Cheers
You need to find a small crank out awning to mount on the carrier mounts on the passenger side carrier mounts.
Tatonka 💜 Great vid 👍🏼
Probably see you some where out there this fall, getting my rig ready, great work
Thanks Brian!
Beautiful. What a life you have. Also me..😝
Love the wild life.

Another great video by Brian the aventureman, you have the van dweller life down, are you going to work at the sugar beet plant again?👍👍✌✌
Killing it with 3 vids a week. Nice!
Love the views!
Love the Badlands!!!
I was wondering how you spend your day off camera. Do you read, meditate, sleep, watch tv, listen to the radio, play video games? Love your videos.
Nothing boring about living!
I got a chuckle out of your outdoor cooking setup. It looks like you're cooking with bio-gas.
Good looking tacos.
that place looks badass
Wow Brian! Looks great, views, food, videos, excellent! You think I could pull my 25' travel trailer to those places? My truck is 4x4, and it'll pull about anything, trailer height worries me though.

another pretty area.

Are you going to put out a camping simple cooking cook book? Do you still use your built in air conditioner?
Hey Brian I didn't see if you mentioned on a previous post but could you share what model of drone you use? Thanks!
Cooked up some tacos in your honor today! BISON!
Not Bison tacos! Bison footage!
Love that area sometimes the Lightning can be a bit scary thou
Nice!
how is the solar working for you now that you added the second panel? nice video
While you are in the area, check out the begging burros at Custer State Park...:-)
Love riding through there for the rally but the pecker knats are aweful. There in swarms.
Being in a thunderstorm in South Dakota is no fun...I know!
Damn, now I want some taco's..
I want tacos😥!
Where were you in that last shot!?
I was almost killed by one in ‘89.
I hope you realize theirs no drone flying in National parks Wanderlust estates just got warned by a park ranger.
+Gary Loiselle Yes, thank you. I did not fly the drone within the park. The footage is from BLM land outside the park 😄👍✌
It makes you wonder what the federal government is doing on OUR land that cannot be filmed.
they have had a few crash land into ecologically sensitive areas like Yellowstone springs that caused damage and made it hard to retrieve them.
That's the truth! It's supposed to be OUR land! Our taxes paid for it all!
You're absolutely correct. Sage Creek is the worst campground in the US. Seven people caught black plague there last year. Stay away at all costs.
Why did she want your ID?
+Jona Christoe I entered the park with an America the Beautiful national park pass. You need to provide ID to match the name on the park pass. 😄👍✌
Ahhh, okay. Thanks ✌😎
The ground beef was as sentient as the bison. Eat beans, not beings.
Are you going to put out a camping simple cooking cook book? Do you still use your built in air conditioner?
