I bet when you made this video four years ago, you didn’t realize how popular your cooking in your videos would be!👍 since your End Of The Road video, I’ve been going back and watching your videos from the beginning. Those were my favorite.
I Really enjoy your videos. The wife and I are planning to live the vanlife and adventure the roads. Watching your videos give us a great idea of how its going to be and we see your enjoying it. Where still in the process of finding a van(home) so we are new at this but our minds are set that this is what we want to do. Keep up the vids and positive attitude. Thnx.
Brian..some of your older videos have been coming up and enjoying your simplistic life. Years later you have stayed true to simple camping. Would like more of your music and tool carving in current videos. Be safe!
Smart idea using that walking stick to do double duty. Hunters have to look all around their hunt area so they had to invent the swivel. Cool for everybody!
Hey there....I'm a huge fan of your channel.i love your positive demeanor. Your cooking is always amazing and i must say I'm saving up to buy me a van so i can do a conversion......thank you for sharing your life with us.... I pray everyday for you for safe travels and i pray God keeps you safe and healthy..... Can't wait to see more of your adventures....... Can't wait until i can start my own... Be blessed
I've been following you ever since you was at slab city with the interview with iam alien I really enjoy your video's cuz you're keeping it simple I'm hoping to get out on the road myself soon stay safe and keep experiencing the great outdoors and stay as free as the clouds. Joker
Those look so good!!! I am enjoying your videos, you do maintain a positive attitude, and seem to find enjoyment in the little things in life. You're really fun to watch!
All that recipe needed was some mozzarella cheese! Yummy! Happy travels from the Northwest. I like the new lay out but really like the front where u have a door separating the front from the back. Everybody wants a swivel seat to make more living space but I would rather have the safety and the temperature control! That front window can really put out a lot of heat.
Hi Van Man~ I haven't been on my computer for a while, so I've missed watching your vids. I like your additions, and your breakfast made me hungry! Take care and stay safe~
Great ideas! I recognize your new bucket cover/seat! I had the same and loved it! Someone actually stole it! Of all of my stuff, they stole my bucket!?!? 😂 I'm so excited for you!
This is what I admire most about Americans. They live a large life using as much resources as possible. But then they can also easily adopt to the life of meagre. Absolutely amazing life chosen in spite of all the options...
Loved the video. I have that same weber gas grill I bought for camping a few years back. Works great, attach your average 5 gallon propane tank to it and you will be able to use it for days!
Food is as much a fun part of my day as anything! I enjoy thinking about what I'm going to make for breakfast or dinner and cooking it and EATING is even more fun! Especially when your outside or just out of the box [not in the kitchen] Just something about it that makes it extra special. It's more gratifying and just tastes better in those circumstances! I'm really enjoying your videos! Thanks for taking us through your process! Oh, your swivel stool/toilet is great! Just what you needed!
Go to Bed bath and beyond they sell these cutting boards $5.50 for 4 that are flexible they are flexible you can roll them up and slide a zip lock bag over the end invert and all your cutting is in the bag works great with left overs too that are not too wet. I like to put chips on the board wrap invert and seal I can portion up my chips and project how long it shall last. They are so affordable I use them when I fix sandwiches I have hard cutting boards still use the flexible since they allow me to keep a good edge on my knife since the knife is in contact with the plastic board vs the hard board. Smart man on your pan size a lot of vanners think they need small pots when they are on the road and that is nuts you need the largest frying pan you can handle you can use that pan size as a type of temp control.
I wish you all the best and so glad you're fulfilling your Dream, I have a Severely handicapped little boy but if things were different regarding his health I would certainly go for a tiny home for us, Lord only knows how it is now for us things aren't working out, but I Really Really wish you all the best my friend !!!
You eat better than most any RV or van dweller on you tube. I notice you love onions and mushrooms!! I bet anyone passing buy your van would wonder where the great smells are coming from.
Yeah, most videos I see of people's vans their sinks are usually full of misc junk. I'm sure some people use them as normal sinks but most I think just don't use them at all. That said, I'm sure people with much larger vehicles like RVs probably use their sinks a lot. Because they have plenty of table space for all their other junk.
I enjoy watching your video and it seems to me that you really enjoy cooking. You need a dog for company. You are a wonderful person. God bless you and be safe.
I watched this video when I woke up this morning and was doing good till u got to the breakfast part then all of a sudden I was hit with great hunger pains and growling of the stomach lol 😌... Another Great Video Thumbs up 😊👍
for your fold out table, instead of using the walking stick, you can get a dead bolt and install it underneath the table where it folds and lock and unlock it that way
Breakfast looked great! Was there a guy just hanging out in the truck that pulled up while you were cooking. It sure is nice when you have a spot to yourself!
I love cookin' in the van videos! Thanks for sharing about the sink too. I've been considering cutting a hole in my little counter-top to add a sink but I can't decide if it's worth it. I know I have to decide for myself but it's good to hear other people's opinions.
Glad you enjoyed it :) I have found its pretty easy to get by with out 'running water'. I only have a few dishes and utensils so clean up is usually pretty easy. The collapsible dish pan works out great for my needs. Thanks and take care.
two slices of wheat or sourdough bread. two eggs made like an omelette, I add picata, place on toast bread, then thin deli ham, American or sharp cheddar. serve with pickle
Good video Brian.....gotta get me one of those grills, where did you buy yours? Also your little table and extension really worked out great, Makes the day start out easier and better for you..... TruckcamperJim
Hi Brian. Good videos with food that you cook for yourself. Yummy! There's alot of ppl now days would starve cuz they don't know how to cook. Safe travels :)
That looked delicious.... I will have to try that but not with meat...I love mushrooms and onion also.. Happy Trails.... I think hubby and I will be on the road camping again soon...
I have the exact kind of grill, and I know you can cover the rack with foil, but then you won't get as much smoky flavor in the food. Cleaning a bbq grill rack requires a LOT of water and is messy, where do you scrub and clean the grill rack?
A few other basic questions I have for you Brian. First off if someone approaches the outside of your van and is threatening you and you don't have immediate access to your driver seat how do you handle that self-defense measure? And the other question is silly but how do you wash your dishes LOL? And where do you usually shower at? These are things I'm considering because I will be on the road with the same lifestyle in a year or so.
It's good to see you improving your living space.I haven't watched for a while. Are you still working a regular job> Are you going on a trip this summer or fall? I'm sort of out f touch with your channel, as you cantell by the questions.
Thanks for watching. I am on my last week at my current job. I will depart my hometown of San Diego on Sept. 10th. I will be traveling and working on the road for as long as I can. I have seasonal jobs in different parts of the country lined up thru the summer of 2016. Im finally going to be living my dream! :)
So funny I have been using a small stool in the same spot! haha The swivel is nice on yours though. I had exact same experience with being on bed all the time.
would be good to have complete tour of van with details !!! ie how did you get swivel d seat ? whats that black thing with 3 silver round things on wall ???
+Dennis Mitchell that's the mail box he bought from his friend or another van dweller and those silver things are battery powered LED lights. I am not sure about the swivel seat though!
I discovered your RUclips channel from people at the RTR and so glad I found you. Love your videos. You have a great setup and it looks so comfy and homey. Question though, what kind of stove is that? I like how it's got the wide bottom but still small to store.
I bet when you made this video four years ago, you didn’t realize how popular your cooking in your videos would be!👍 since your End Of The Road video, I’ve been going back and watching your videos from the beginning. Those were my favorite.

+Mario M Thank you. Good luck on your van quest! :)
No cheese should be criminal!
Tasty looking heavy breakfast tho :P
The 0 Cheese Keeps it 😂Quant~4Heart, Lol

Breakfast looks yummy..Thank you for the video..Have a blessed day..
You are really enjoying yourself, and I am happy for you, hope you can keep doing this for a very long time!
Very nice set up Brian. Now I am hungry! LOL. Take care.
Thanks for the breakfast tip, had some soft taco shells left over but no beef to make tacos. Going make some breakfast burritos.
Right on man! :)
Weber is the best! Good buy. I liked your rotating toilet seat, ha, ha! Quite inventive.
I love your simple lifestyle. Shows we really do not need a lot of STUFF to live wonderfully. Your inspiring.
Thank you, DebnPaul
Brian, I love the simplicity of your cooking. Everything looks so good.

Ah! A leftie. Breakfast looks good.
This is what I admire most about Americans. They live a large life using as much resources as possible. But then they can also easily adopt to the life of meagre. Absolutely amazing life chosen in spite of all the options...
You are using my favorite brand of tortillas! Isnt it the best feeling when you enjoy your own cooking? I love it
Loved the video. I have that same weber gas grill I bought for camping a few years back. Works great, attach your average 5 gallon propane tank to it and you will be able to use it for days!
+sublimefan661 Its a great little grill :)

Breakfast looked great! Was there a guy just hanging out in the truck that pulled up while you were cooking. It sure is nice when you have a spot to yourself!

I love hot sauce, too. Try the Cholula Jalapeno and Poblano (green). It's bomb on eggs.
Yes, I really like the green Cholula, much more flavor than Tapatio!
you have a nice setup.freedom living :-)
Thanks, its been a good little home for me :)
Food looked great and I think the changes and add on's to the van are a good idea.

Great additions. Yum. Looks good.
Is there a way to watch your videos from number 1 on in order?
this is really about making an omelet ...would be great to have info such as the stove you are using inside. It looks stable.
+Thrivalist You can find my stove at my Amazon Store here.... astore.amazon.com/adven012-20

great Vid. 1) question. I'm intrigued with the swivel seat on your bucket, where did you find it to fit?
You are making me hungry again, you are killing me with your great cooking, I want your burritos
I'm hungry now!!!
Nice modifications. Oftentimes, simplicity is best. :)
Great vid! You're burritos look amazing! What about cooking odours in the van? In that small space, do the cooking odours not linger?
have that seat love it use it all the time
some fresh spinach added to those mushrooms and stuff would have been yummy. not to mention healthy too.
So funny I have been using a small stool in the same spot! haha The swivel is nice on yours though. I had exact same experience with being on bed all the time.
+Will Burson Right on. I have found it makes a big difference and make less of a mess on my bed! :)
awesome video , great setup you have , damn after i post this i'm going to make mushroom and onion and ham omelette haha
makin me hungry

Way to go
Have you had any issues with your paper towels absorbing moisture/smells, since they are hanging over where your cooking?
I discovered your RUclips channel from people at the RTR and so glad I found you. Love your videos. You have a great setup and it looks so comfy and homey. Question though, what kind of stove is that? I like how it's got the wide bottom but still small to store.
I really like your van! Hope you're having fun ;)
Everything looks quite comfy and efficient!! Good inspiration! Thanks!
I like the mods you did. Do you like that stove better than the 2 burner you used to have?
