Just wonderful!!! Paula is right on with her use of sprouts!!!! You can have organic fresh produce year round no matter where you live. I bet that is one of the reasons she is so vibrant and radiant. What a wonderful couple of people. Thanks , Brian.
Paula is good people. Living simply and justly is its own reward. I love that she took so much joy from making a salad, in her camper, being present, and loving life! Great video, as always - I'm stealing that swivel table idea for my van...
I'm a big fan of the Biolite Campstove. That's the older model that generates it's own electricity to run the fan that makes the stove more efficient. Surplus power can be used to recharge electronic devices. I have the whole bundle.. Stove, Pot, & Grill. Yes, there are cheaper products, but part of Biolite's business model is to design wood stoves that are much cleaner burning for use in 3rd world locations. Purchasing Biolite products helps support the company to realize that goal.
Love Paulas energy & love her van set up. I've seen pop ups before but the small bathroom & that swing out table are such great ideas can't believe I haven't seen them in a van before. I'm totally stealing them when I finally get to build my van I've been dreaming of for years. Love the inspiration.
i camp on an island with people like paula every weekend and cannot get people to appreciate this stuff. until they come out. then they say ,why didnt you tell me this was so cool. and i say , i did for ten years. Get out and do it. relax, be calm , be cool.
Meeting people we can connect with along our journey is a favorite benefit of living the life we live. Paula is an inspiration. Thank you Brian for sharing her story. And you sound happy again being on the road! Safe travels friend!
I'm really surprised that both of you can fit on the same computer screen! Very exciting and challenging human being. WOW!! It seems like escaping your summer at kiddie land is good for your soul!
Paula, you are absolutely fabulous with your exuberant passion for living healthy, loving nature and willingness of shouting it to the world with such a huge smile and in such a good natured manner - how can anyone get mad at you with such an approach ?!!! Plus you have the smarts, the education, the facts, the know how as they say. Their are not alot of people that think this way in the grand scheme of things but the tides are changing, people all over have started to realize you are what you eat, you are how you live and living mostly stress free is good. I am glad I found your You Tube video Adventure Guy to listen to such positive folks - one more thing back in the day, along time ago (I sound old), anyways, everything was naturally organic and we all had exubertant energy through most of an entire day with a satisfied tiredness at the end of the day because of physical activity but we are normal who have always kept eating and living that way, having tons of energy, not labeled hyperactive - it is the world , processed, chemical foods that makes many energy lacking humans today think of the ones of us with the health nuts label, jumping around, doing stuff as different ones. I want all the people to feel good and as Paula said, it really is only a few cents to a dollar more 99% of the time. Thank You Adventure Man and Happy Traveling and Camping to you All !!!
Paula is an amazing woman! What a great friend she would be. And the Pop-up truck camper is incredibly well designed. Paula keeps it so neat and gives it a touch of home too. I would definitely consider this rig for myself even though I have never been a truck camper fan. I really enjoyed this video, Great interview Brian. Thanks!
I am a Glamper, I love to camp but need my comforts. My hubby says no to RV's he says throw stuff in a pickup and go. I found a medium ground in this video. A great way to travel and have fun. Thank you for this eye opening video. Happy travels. :)
What an awesome lady. The world would be a much better place with more people like Paula! Oh, and healthier too! Thanks for sharing a slice of your life with us! Interview well done AdventureVanMan! Thanks!
I like the idea of the tailgate down to cope with the extra length, weight and balance etc .. I used to do stay away camping in an old V W T25 and I liked to place wind chimes near the exits as an early warning system of possible intruder or other trouble but they were never needed.. Better to have and not need than need and not have... Placed where there is no draft or near windows if it wasn't too windy.. Plus I had my dog with me.. It helped get us a good nights sleep. Obviously choose your location wisely if you park up for the night too.
Thanks so much, Brian for this interview. So fun and freedom-enticing. Paula is so full of life that she has to catch her breath from sharing her exciting new camper and lifestyle. Best Wishes from Dan-0 in Canada to both of you!!!
I love that little bathroom, I’ve never seen anything like that yet. She didn’t mention the track in the ceiling that would allow you to put a shower curtain around and stand up to shower there. Beautiful rig, awesome spirit 💗
X2 on her comments about LL Bean Gear. I used to shop there way back when they only had their one store. We'd stop every year on our way to the annual fly fishing trip in Maine. They'll take back any item at any time........true story.......my dad brought his LL Bean Boots in to be resoled. They were 30 yrs old....he put them on the counter and the lady asked if he'd like a refund! Then he politely explained, no he'd just like to pay to have them resoled, which they happily did and mailed them back a few weeks later.
You have met a great lady there. The Biolight stove is cool. I have only seen the kind with the USB. Paula has a nice rig there as well. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Brian, thoroughly enjoyed your video interview with Paula and her truck-camper. Wow, nice set-up! She's a real live wire that definitely walks the talk. Keep up the good work my friend.
Really liked this video, Brian, well, I always like them. Her camper just had so moo much going for it. One of the best I've seen, and I've seen a lot. Thanks for sharing Paula.
Great rig! Of course I love truck campers. They are great! Paula love your passion! Even through the video I can feel your energy! Paula start a you tube channel and share your passion! Brian thanks for the interview.
Frugal RV Gal, hi Frugal, I just glanced at ur channel and subbed right away. I’m exploring and researching living for months at a time in an RV be it a truck camper, a travel trailer or just a van! I might travel from NJ 2,500 miles to the RTR this Jan 11 for more research. I read today that the last 2 days will be focused as a woman’s RTR. Cheers, Mo in NJ and...
Thanks Paula and Brian... that was great video...Paula that is a cute home you have... how fun....eating healthy and taking care of one's self is cheaper than staying sick and in the hospital or on the operating table. at Dr's office all the time... Gosh...I learned that the hard way... Lovely video...enjoyed it so much...Happy Trails!
AdventureVanMan-- What a great interview! I just subscribed, because I hope to see more like this one. Paula is just the sort of person I like having in my life. Positive, intelligent and passionate about everything she does. Many of the TROLLS could learn a lot from her if they really took the time to hear her. And I have never seen a pop up truck camper before, very cool and it seems more roomy than the enclosed ones with the dark wood. This was bright and breezy looking. I was a little confused though about the pop up: Can that stay up during a storm? It definitely is for the warmer regions of the country. Thanks Brian for a great interview.!!
Wow~That is just the coolest set-up, Paula, and THX for sharing it with us considering how we want to travel out there:) Another excellent and informative video, Brian, and enjoy the road!
Loving that RIG she has found !!! It is VERY practical, spacious, and I LIKE how it can fold down when on the move ... (better gas mileage. less wind resistance ...) :) :) :) Great Vid :) :) :) "Thanks" for sharing !!
A lot of women are doing this. I'm thinking the same thing. Turning 60 in a few weeks. Bought a used camper and have been fixing it up. Heading to Baja in a couple of weeks for the first try out! Seriously thinking of retiring early, selling my house and going full time. Fear of the unknown scaring me a little....sometimes a lot.
I love Paula's outlook on life! Being present and taking it all in. This camper is wonderful and has everything one could possibly need! It's so cozy. I could absolutely live in this camper!!! I plan to be in some sort of home on wheels soon and I love seeing videos like this, so thanks for making it and sharing! Tammie Miller
i REALLY LOVED this video! I am SO impressed with that Truck camper! I have always stayed away from them becuase of no toilet or shower...but yey! this is great!! (I have a camper, but this would be a nice alternative if needed.) thanks for this video!!
Terrific vid, Two outstanding people out on the road! This is what has inspired me to be a FT nomad. Wish I had seen that pop up before I bought mine, but I do love my Four wheel pop up, can't wait to add solar to it and a few other items. Please send me good vibes that my house will sell soon! Love you all!
Thanks to Paula for the tour and to Brian for putting it together. One person commented about taking this pop up into bear country...I've tent camped in bear country. You have to be smart about food storage and cooking when you're in places where bears live. Be smart and protect yourself and protect the bears.
Wow! Her camper has a few cool new designs I haven't seen before. I like that compact bathroom idea. Thanks!
I love her pop up truck camper. Looks very spacious, cozy and comfortable. Wonderful way to live

Brian, You have come so far. In one year the video quality has went through the roof. Great Job.
