Nice preproduction pc. Camera mics and sound is good. One positive thing they did was to put a USB-C port on each side so one can plug in a charger on either side. Have fun at CES. Great preview of coming attractions.
Dude, looking good. Happy new year! Your videos are great. Somehow, out of all the other thousands of youtubers, you established a unique format unlike anyone else.
Great First Look at the HP EliteBook Ultra G1i (2025) with a gorgeous OLED 2.8K display, good port selection, love the all metal design, camera and mic quality are great and so is the sound from the quad speakers. Curious to see how it overall performs when you bring it into the studio. Thank you for this video Andrew! 👍😁
Looks nice, and loving that HP added the Intel Ultra CPU with high screen resolution. Looking forward to seeing the new Dell Latitude after the name change to Dell Pro.
A little worry because 2 moths ago the X G1a was a pre-production version, today this Ultra G1i is still another pre-production version, I wonder when HP will give you something to really work on because we can't go on forever with these pre-production things, it's like some beauty with a chastity belt saying look how good I am but I'm not for you, I'm for my daddy Andrew Marc David only.
@@andrewmarcdavid Yeah right if issue with the green light for the X G1a, you can try to get the ZBook Ultra 14 G1a which i heard isn't a pre-production version and it's way way more performant, can you try that ?
So, I think the Elitebook G1i is basically just an Omnibook Ultra Flip with the Elitebook styling. It has the same keyboard with very low key travel (in my opinion, your fingers hurt after typing for a long time) and the battery is similarly small. Despite Lunar Lake, you hardly get longer battery life than with a Spectre x360 2024. It feels rather worse if you don't just use the device for office work.
In addition, the hinges of the G1i appear to be similar to those of the Omnibook Ultra (non Flip). They bounce slightly on the video - felt rather cheap to me on site with the Omnibook Ultra at the time. But I may be wrong.
Hi, andrew. The videos are great as always. Which laptop do you suggest for light work and for watching movies and reading? I need best screen, i was thinking about book 5 pro 360 or macbook pro. Can you suggest me.
Better build quality, easier to remove/replace the SSD, and better ports with the X1 Carbon Gen 11. The HP Dragonfly G4 looks a bit fancy, bigger battery, and better web camera.
Looking forward to your unrivalled CES coverage as always. All the best.
So, and now the G1a please! I am happy to see your video about that gorgeous device.

Happy new year!
I Will be following looking forward to what is coming here.
I wonder what the real price will be once HP starts the rising sale numbers.

Greetings from CES, if you will have some time, we can grab a coffee
You know you have something special when your first, middle, and last names are all first names
It looks gorgeous. HP has to show us the quality is stepped up.
2025 is starting very strong! I'm waiting for your coverage of Intel, AMD, and Nvidia's new announcements!
Andrew could you do a video from CES 2025 ❤
Any news on the release of elitebook x g1a?

Review the EliteBook X Flip G1i when possible too please
Is there a difference between this laptop and the HP omnibook ultra flip 14 besides the fact that it doesn't rotate?
Omnibook is the consumer range, EliteBook is the commerical range which are built for business so they're naturally more robust.
Can you do a Full review on the Asus Rog Flow Z13 2025 version.. thanks
sir, i wanna ask btwn the x1 carbon gen 11 vs dragonfly g4,which is better?
