- Make-Ahead Freezer Breakfast sandwiches are a hearty and satisfying breakfast for early working days and school mornings. They are also ideal for camping trips! This recipe comes together fast and you can easily scale up or down.

Ingredients for Freezer Breakfast Sandwiches:
►8 large eggs
►1/4 cup milk
►1 Tbsp sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
►1/2 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
►1/4 tsp black pepper
►1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded or your favorite cheese
►6 English Muffins
►2 Tbsp butter, plus more to grease the pan
►6 Slices of Monterey Jack Cheese, or your favorite cheese
►12 slices of Black Forest Ham, or your favorite deli meat

My fav. meal prep., seasoned ground lamb, which i cook in a cast iron skillet. The consistency comes out a little like meatloaf & and i use it, to make tacos, burgers, torsadas, burritos, nacho cheese bowl etc.😋😋😋🤗 Yummy to the Tumny!!!

Tip for if you don’t want to cut out egg circles: I ordered a silicone “muffin top” pan last year from Bed Bath and Beyond. I crack an egg into each one (there are 6 circles) and bake them and then I have 6 perfect circles with no wasted egg scraps. :D You can also do some eggs whole, some just whites and some scrambled. Everyone in the house gets what they want. :)

Never thought to do this but i spend like 25 bucks a week on breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Gonna definitly do this from now on!

I thaw mine in the microwave 1 min. I separate the meat from the egg and pop the two halves into the air fryer at 375F. For 5 minutes. It makes the bread crispy again and heats all the ingredients all the way through. No cold centers or soggy bread. I also love making them with buttermilk biscuits or croissants.

If you decide to cut the eggs in circles, the leftover bits are great chopped and added to your favorite breakfast burrito filling.

I believe the cream was the gem for the moist eggs. i also lined the bottom of the glass pan with parchment paper. when seasoning my eggs i added onion powder as well= delicious. the breakfast sandwiches were a hit . I will definitely make more.
That's a really unique way of making the eggs if you're making ahead. I would've never thought about using the oven.
The key to making your re-heats the best they can be is to know how to do it properly. Personally, I prefer using real heat as opposed to a microwave. I thaw them overnight in the fridge then as soon as I get up, I turn on my toaster oven (love that thing!) and toss a couple in on low heat and by the time I'm dressed and have my coffee made, they're ready to eat and heated through very nicely. Can even throw a couple hash brown patties in with them and make a complete breakfast.

Love your channel. My Jewish neighbor makes this fast breakfast casserole; 1st cut deli pastrami, caramelized onion, cooked hash browns, a tiny dot of brown mustard. Combine all that in the raw scrambled egg mixture and bake. Make sandwiches on dry toasted brioche or challah. Don't need to season the egg mixture since the pepper, coriander and salt on the pastrami do all the work and sweetness from the onion balances the salinity.

I make them fresh for all the Chinese American kids that come over and eat before school. They love this. I put the ham in a pan for a sec to heat up and add some honey. Onyo is Number 1.

Hey Laura! Becareful with low fat options as they typically contain a lot more added sugar, which is worse than fat.

You should try my favorite breakfast sandwich. Buttered croissant, slice of black forest ham and slice of vermont cheddar cheese ( melt cheese over ham in microwave ) add one folded scrambled egg. Salt and pepper to taste. AMAZING!!!!

The eggs could possibly be baked in little springform pans that have a protective layer of foil or parchment inside them, to prevent seepage.

I just made this for the first time this morning and it is SOOO good! Half I used ham, and the other half I used turkey! Used muenster cheese also! I'm glad your recipe has flexibility with some of the ingredients! :)
