      It just trips me out… someone can look healthy and have so much life left in them, and a doctor can predict the end from from years/months away… but sometimes they just can’t stop it. When will we be rid of this disease :(

      @@cakepopmopsop It seems to me if we all acted like we had a brain and stopped trying to kill each other and spending trillions on methods of warfare, instead putting the same effort and resources into more and more and MORE research into the true enemy, we MIGHT find an answer much quicker, IF indeed there are cures to cancer and other diseases!!! Sadly humans AREN'T that smart, are we???????

    You have given me so much hope! I am starting Capox 9/25/23 and was afraid of what to expect. I am 54 and very healthy, except for the stage 2 rectal cancer. I just finished 31 sessions of radiation and Xeloda. I have been struggling with what to eat and if I would be able to work out. I have lost so much muscle, but am hoping I can tolerate chemo well. Thank you so much for your videos.

    This is very helpful! I start round 2 soon, I also have a colorectal tumor. I’ve been trying hard to figure out at what level I should be exercising, since I used to be pretty active in the gym. This is inspiring me to not give up on the daily fight for optimal health!

    • @DrDanSays
      @DrDanSays  3 года назад +1

      Benjamin, I'm so sorry to hear about that! But lemme say, staying as active as I can be has been hugely helpful. My body feels better, BMs come more easily, not to mention I like moving & being active, and it makes my brain feel more normal, if that makes sense. My advice: start off super easy the first few workouts -- slow movements, no straining or struggling. Then gradually increase intensity, as you tolerate it. I'm still nowhere near the strength I had before (lost 20 lbs of muscle), but honestly I FEEL almost normal most of the time (except for chemo week :)

    RIP. For future reference, do not do anything stressful when battling cancer. Lifting weights is a stress, eating grains is a stress, vegetable oils are a stress, vaccinations are a stress, lack of nutrients is a stress, anti nutrients are a stress, plants can’t be digested and are full of anti nutrients, more stress.

    did you have a picc or port installed?
    I'm going through chemo right now and it's killing my veins. Just doing research on piccs/ports.

    • @DrDanSays
      @DrDanSays  Год назад +5

      I have a port in my chest for the chemo. I'd highly recommend you get one if you're able to. Because it's using a much larger artery, it dilutes the chemo so it doesn't irritate/collapse your veins.
      I hope you do very well -- I know you must be stressed right now! I'll be thinking about you and wishing for a full and complete recovery!

    • @Liberty_Tree
      @Liberty_Tree Год назад +1

      @@DrDanSays Thanks for your reply.
      I'm looking into a port, but a little leery playing around with those big veins near the heart. Tough times and tough decisions.
      Does the chemo irritate the vein with the port at all?
      Thanks for the support. All the best to you too!
      God Bless

    This guy just died --- so sad. I have been following different people with Cancer -- seems all of them do KETO DIETS -- no sugar no carbs ever and they all work out to burn the sugar our body makes which is glutamine. Also many do infra red light, sauna, cold dips, oxygen treatments. There is a guy with channel "Blessings on My Journey" - his name is Jeff diagnosed terminal stage 4 rectal cancer --- HE IS STILL ALIVE. He does Chemo -- but didn't do traditional Standard of Care like poor Dr. Dan. Follow Dr. Thomas Seyfried also -- Pablo Kelly Brain Cancer Survivor 10 years was also given terminal prognosis.
