The lyrics...the cleans...the screams...the lead & solo...the power chords...the drum fills...the deepness of the bass... THIS IS LIKE MY FAVOURITE SONG EVER
I'm here to confirm it really never ends in a way the song evokes deep emotions in a way, touching upon themes of persistent sorrow and an unending sense of melancholy. It resonates with a feeling of being patched up yet still feeling the profound blues and cyans of sadness in a positive way. The music, interlude and the lyrics combine to create a powerful emotional experience that feels as if it's speaking directly to the soul, reflecting the kind of sadness that isn't just heard but deeply felt and experienced, it stings in sweet and loving way. It's the kind of song that doesn't just play in the background but stirs something within, leaving a lasting impact.

funny i have heard both bands names. and i mean i'm old as sht but i try to check out stuff and keep on top of it. i generally don't like scream and clean boy band type vocals, it's so formulaic as soon as i hear it i'm like ok, and usually seconds away from turning it off. but it kind of trips me out that i just realised this band has been around for 20 years. like. what. lol. i'm just perusing through their years. i like the earliest stuff the best. it's very 80's crossover punk mixed with you know more djenty and voi vod type dissonant squeaks and chokes type sht. basically a congalmormation of the sht i loved in the late 80,s and was myself starting to do. They good enough. Apparently have done well for themselves seeing their views on every video, seem to have hit a nerve, quite impressive.

remember , oldies times , when i listen this song
it’s awesome and motivating to see oli and sam and just the whole band up there going nuts and not even realizing what they had in store for their careers in the future
Our legs begin to break
We've walked this path for far too long
My lungs, they start to ache
But still we carry on
I'm choking on my words
Like I got a noose around my neck
I can't believe it's come to this
And dear, I fear
That this ship is sinking tonight
I won't give up on you
These scars won't tear us apart
So don't give up on me
It's not too late for us
And I'll save you from yourself
And I'll save you from yourself
Our legs begin to break
We've walked this path for far too long
My lungs begin to ache
But still we carry on
I'm choking on my words
Like I got a noose around my neck
I'm not coming home tonight
I'm not coming home tonight
'Cause dear I fear, dear I fear
I'm not coming home tonight
I'm not coming home tonight
'Cause dear I fear
This ship is sinking
Is there hope for us?
Can we make it out alive?
I can taste the failure on your lips
Is there hope for us?
Can we make it out alive?
I can taste the failure
Close your eyes
There's nothing we can do
But sleep in this bed that we made for ourselves
You're trapped in your past
Like it's six feet under
I won't give up on you
These scars won't tear us apart
So don't give up on me
It's not too late for us
I'll save you from yourself
I'll save you from yourself
I'll save you from yourself
I'll save you from yourself
Try to numb the pain
With alcohol and pills
But it won't repair your trust
You can't stand on two fucking feet
With a substance as a crutch
I won't give up
I won't give up on you
We'll play this symphony
I won't give up
I won't give up on you
We'll play this symphony of sympathy
I won't give up
I won't give up on you
We'll play this symphony of sympathy
I won't give up
I won't give up on you
We'll play this symphony of sympathy
This song is literally my favorite. Sempiternal was good but this song beats it all. I love it.
love so much this song
it's been 11 years...
i saw them in december and they were soooo good so much better than i had expected and it sounds nothing like the live versions on youtube and after that concert they became my favorit band plus they are really nice
Never gets boring and never will
Have you guys noticed the difference between this version and the traditionnal Itunes version; like at 3:04 when it starts with the "try to numb the pain.." It just starts directly, such a nasty cut x)
Amo essa banda
To this day my favorite drum set of all time! SJC green splattered paint!
oli sings like the tip of his tongue is touching his bottom incisors
BMTH still AMAZING 2016 anyone
Yesss
4:26, MAN THIS IS THE EXACT LINE FOR MY GF, shes dealing with almost constant sadness and suicidal thoughts, i just wish i could do more but i will once i meet her, mark my words guys
Hope y’all okay now :(
Got into Architects from this. Listened to their first three albums, Jesus they're in a completely different league to BMTH. I think BMTH are ok, but I've been getting into much better metalcore lately, Architects being one of them.
ahhhhhh bmth and aa, these guys kept me going from middle school all the way through Highschool.... it feels nice to comeback to them.... The Comeback soirees. gonna listen to that song as weellllll doe!!!!
elders, were getting old :(.
I remember when I thought this was brutal :,)
U mean bro0tal
same hahah
But after this you discovered For Stevie Wonder's Eyes Only for example.
I started from Pray For Plagues so I know what was brutal in them :D
Br00tal m8
this album is deathcore mixed with metalcore so it's still brutal
shout out to sam from architects doing the cleans
I love how this is basically a mixture of BMTH and Architects and not just a BMTH song with Sam Carter on it. It just has this cool Architects vibe.
this is best song from Bring me the horizon ever made :)
From time to time a person can tell you that great music has gone away and later you by mistake discover a band such as this!
