Don’t get me wrong, I love both newer and older BMTH… BUT OLDER WILL ALWAYS BE MY FOREVERMORE FAVORITE! Like c’mon, they were this iconic deathcore band. Quite frankly, I really miss it. Oli’s impeccable screams… they fill me up with so much joy. >_

I love the old BMTH and the new them. But if they had the lyrics they do now and combine them with the screams Oli did, it would be the best album ever created.
I love everything they've released honestly. I do feel like certain new songs lack the same drive and passion they once had, but really shit like Avalanche and Hospital for Souls still can reignite what I felt when listening to Blessed With A Curse and Suicide Season. BMTH rocks!
Oooofff I remember when Count Your Blessings came out when I was in high school, such a heavy album, if you were cool you had the edition with their Eyeless cover!
Nah, lots of people, including me, are on your side. It'd be better if they kept the hardcore sound, but it's better for Oli that they changed. But hey, they're album next year could be heavier than TTS
You don't think the songs sound beautiful at least? But I can understand, though, where you're coming from. You've heard it done one way for so long till it's hard to change.
It's not about changing to accommodate their new style. Just because it's the name of a band that has done stuff i like doesn't mean i'm automatically going to like their new stuff. I respect what they've done with them selves and i can respect the music as music but if i don't like it then i'm not going to listen to it. People like it and that's great, sadly i'm not not one of those people and i'm probably never going to be.
Lol I remember listening this all the time when I was about 14 years old, always on the bus to highschool lol.. It's almost six years ago now, time goes soooo fast and so much has changed also for the band. If I listen to this music it feels like yesterday. :')
It's also funny when I see all the 'emo kids' now all the sudden listening to BMTH and shit haha. I'm like; wtf.. It still excists? Didn't whole the scene just died?
ahh takes me back to 08 when i was 14 in 8th grade, on the bus. My iPod shuffle on full blast with this album on repeat. I'm 19 now.....i laugh when i see people rocking metal shirts with skinny jeans, and long hair like its something new...haha that was one crazy phase that was in style
+Michael Davis. I think we all should. I'm so glad I'm out of the phase of "wanting everyone to know what music I like by wearing them on my t shirt and wearing skinny jeans, and doing weird shit with my hair." I still like this music for nostalgia. I was 13-16 when I listened to this kind of stuff now I'm 20
i saw them like 2 months ago.. they opened with this song.. fucking epic.. next song diamonds arent for ever.. i got knocked out as soon as it dropped.. such a great show/performance
Ollie’s voice was BEAST. I still can’t believe they went straight pop punk. I saw this live in 08-09’ when I was like 18, I’m almost 34. I miss the emo deathcore wave
BMTH is BMTH, no matter if their sound changes or not. Personally, I like them no matter what, at least so far, and I've been listening to them since Suicide Season. I think that every change they make works for them, because they MAKE it work for them.
+Anshul “D Man” Guglani Same, and other than 3 songs from Sempiternal i personally dont care for their music after 'There Is a Hell Believe Me i've Seen It...'
+hovis1st nah, m8 theres the third category. The "I love all their stuff equally" category, which sadly barely anyone is in. Im glad to be in it, it's a cozy hateless place
Tatsu I never denied that the third category exists. There's more than three. I sit firmly in the "I'm not a fan of their new stuff but i respect the music." category. It's just the majority of people that consider them selves a BMTH fan are part of their of the first two categories.
I for one love all of BMTH from Suicide Season to Sempiternal to That's The Spirit, and I know for a fact that there are people who agree with me. So if you like their new sound better or prefer their old sound then fine, that's up to you, but why do so many of you feel the need to attack each other for it? None of it is actually bad, you just have different opinions, so get over yourselves. If people can enjoy all of it then clearly its all decent music. Just because you yourself don't enjoy doesn't mean its a shit sound and it sure as fucking hell doesn't mean that you need to make each other feel bad for what you each like. Thank you and Goodnight.
The good old days back before they sold out. Oliver never hurt his throat. He's lying, just listen to any concert he's ever done. It's obvious he just sold out.
***** The new material contains music that rivals the horrific shit BOTDF makes in quality, they'll never go heavier because they're shitty and everyone believes that lie that he hurt his vocal cords, which is absolute bullshit, they can't even classify as Metal anymore because their Concerts don't even have Mosh Pits because all the little whiny fangirls who think "Zomguh ollie is hawt" would cry when they get hurt because they're not tough shit. The band blows, deal with it.
Flaky Oh Heavier doesn't mean better they have some good messages & meaningful lyrics on their new album, it's one thing for something to not be for you but this band deserves to be where they're at they didn't sell out, I don't hear poppy beats or songs about girls just real shit.
I totally agree with you. All these fake fans think that BMTH'S old stuff is shit cause they can't handle things this heavy. Like piss back to black veil brides which is obviously "real" metal
It's crazy how BMTH went from this, then remarketed themselves as a pop rock band so successfully to the point where new fans don't even know they were once a deathcore band.
+Brian Bernhardt they're older. At least they still do some music, 'cause many of band like them just disappear

I feel infected by your presence, you speak in tongues,
I smell the lies dancing on your blackened lungs,
I whispered in her ear:
Fear me dear, for I am Death,
I'll take your hope, your dreams, your love,
Till there's nothing left
I whispered in her ear:
You better fear me dear, for I am Death,
I'll take that shit you call a life, in a single fucking breath.
I'll take your hope,
I'll take your fucking dreams!
I'll take your love,
I'll take everything you fucking...
Bitch!
I'll steal the diamonds
From your eyes,
I'll turn your promises
Into lies,
I'll steal the diamonds
From your eyes,
I'll turn your promises
Into lies.
It's 3:18, mouth tastes like the corpse of every pregnant teen,
The hours are days, the days are dead,
I feel infected by your presence, you speak in tongues,
I smell the lies dancing on your blackened lungs,
I hear the fear in your voice
But you shouldn't feel a thing
Your life's already worse than any pain that I could bring
That I could bring
That I could bring
I could make it December every day,
But you're so blind, it may as well be May
And I whispered in her ear:
You better fear me dear, for this is Death
And I whispered in her ear
Fear me, 'cause I am Death
One more time
I whispered in her ear
Fear me dear, for I am Death
I'll take everything you ever love
I whispered in her ear:
You better fear me, for I am Death
For I am Death.
For I am Death

I've been listening to bmth since 7th grade and saw them live for the first time when I was 13. I stopped listening to them after the tiahbis album and I heard one of their new songs recently. I came back to this song to relive their days of greatness one more time. This song sure brings back memories. 😩
he aqui a bring me the horizon en sus tiempos de gloria con count your blessing
i miss it...
Takes me back.
[Verse 1]
It's 3:18, mouth tastes like corpse of every pregnant teen
The minutes are hours, the hours are days
I feel infected by your presence, you speak in tongues
I smell the lies dancing on your blackened lungs
[Chorus]
I whispered in her ear, "Fear me, dear, for I am Death"
I'll take your hope, your dreams, your love till there's nothing left
I whispered in her ear, "You better fear me, dear, for I am Death"
I'll take that shit you call a life in a single fucking breath
[Post-Chorus]
I'll take your hope, I'll take your fucking dreams
I'll take your love, I'll take everything, you fucking bitch
[Breakdown]
I'll steal the diamonds from your eyes
I'll turn your promises into lies
I'll steal the diamonds from your eyes
I'll turn your promises into lies
[Verse 2]
It's 3:18, mouth tastes like corpse of every pregnant teen
The hours are days, the days are years
I feel infected by your presence, you speak in tongues
I smell the lies dancing on your blackened lungs
[Bridge]
I hear the fear in your voice, but you shouldn't feel a thing
Your life's already worse than any pain that I could bring
That I could bring, that I could bring
I could make it December every day
But you're so blind, it may as well be May
[Pre-Chorus]
And I whispered in her ear, "You better fear me, dear, for this is Death"
And I whispered in her ear "Fear me, 'cause I am Death"
One more time
[Chorus]
I whispered in her ear "Fear me, dear, for I am Death"
I'll take everything you ever loved
I whispered in her ear "You better fear me, for I am Death"
For I am Death, for I am Death, bitch
I love the old BMTH and the new them. But if they had the lyrics they do now and combine them with the screams Oli did, it would be the best album ever created.
3:12 is the most legendary scream i've ever heard.
You haven't heard many if you think it c:
+Simone Agasisti Shut the fuck up, that was epic scream, you didn't hear it in live
+Syko6 Asking Alexandria-Closure 1:01 just to say only one better than this (It's my opinion, take it easy)
Simone Agasisti I've got to hear it, i'll do it blocke
@@simoneagasisti6411 nah
I love everything they've released honestly. I do feel like certain new songs lack the same drive and passion they once had, but really shit like Avalanche and Hospital for Souls still can reignite what I felt when listening to Blessed With A Curse and Suicide Season. BMTH rocks!
My heart will forever be deathcore
the true sound of BMTH
Oooofff I remember when Count Your Blessings came out when I was in high school, such a heavy album, if you were cool you had the edition with their Eyeless cover!
I miss when they made music like this.
when your teacher likes this song and plays it for your whole class and now my classmates hate me for showing him this band
Now that I think about it, I prefer the old BMTH over the new BMTH. Sorry if I sound simple-minded. 🤘🏻
People like it and that's great, sadly i'm not not one of those people and i'm probably never going to be.
never give up hope
+MrRheydt ss :')
@@EvanescenceWTfreak Are you still listening to throwbacks too?
Its august 27th 2024. And I still hear the fear in your voice
ahh takes me back to 08 when i was 14 in 8th grade, on the bus. My iPod shuffle on full blast with this album on repeat. I'm 19 now.....i laugh when i see people rocking metal shirts with skinny jeans, and long hair like its something new...haha that was one crazy phase that was in style
I feel you.
Amen
do you still listen to bmth?
you laugh at people dressing how you used to dress ?
+Michael Davis. I think we all should. I'm so glad I'm out of the phase of "wanting everyone to know what music I like by wearing them on my t shirt and wearing skinny jeans, and doing weird shit with my hair." I still like this music for nostalgia. I was 13-16 when I listened to this kind of stuff now I'm 20
i dont understand how any deathcore fan could dislike this
i saw them like 2 months ago.. they opened with this song.. fucking epic.. next song diamonds arent for ever.. i got knocked out as soon as it dropped.. such a great show/performance
Lucky

The BEST era of BMTH! Count Your Blessings forever! (2006-forever)
I like their newer stuff too, but this is way better
my life revolves around bmth
Haha I remember when music like this would scare, but now I love it
Ollie’s voice was BEAST. I still can’t believe they went straight pop punk. I saw this live in 08-09’ when I was like 18, I’m almost 34. I miss the emo deathcore wave
Best . Song . Ever
I honestly love their old stuff, but their new stuff is bloody great too. They are differing styles but god damn it's good
BMTH is BMTH, no matter if their sound changes or not. Personally, I like them no matter what, at least so far, and I've been listening to them since Suicide Season. I think that every change they make works for them, because they MAKE it work for them.
That's The Spirit and Amo, eat your heart out. This will always be Bring Me The Horizon to me
I love BMTH, but hate the fanbase.
+Anshul “D Man” Guglani Same, and other than 3 songs from Sempiternal i personally dont care for their music after 'There Is a Hell Believe Me i've Seen It...'
+Anshul “D Man” Guglani TRUEEEE
What sense does that make?
+hovis1st nah, m8 theres the third category. The "I love all their stuff equally" category, which sadly barely anyone is in. Im glad to be in it, it's a cozy hateless place
Tatsu I never denied that the third category exists. There's more than three. I sit firmly in the "I'm not a fan of their new stuff but i respect the music." category. It's just the majority of people that consider them selves a BMTH fan are part of their of the first two categories.
That riff that starts at 2:33 is so damn good
when we were young
The BMTH that I miss and love
Just listened to their new single and had to come here to cleanse my pallette. Nothing they do now will top their first album.
Back when they didn't have any fan girls... love it!
Ryan Delgado lol
DMCNero98 back in the good ol' days! ;) he didnt notice cause he thought he was the first Ryan :P
DMCNero98 sexist
I think refering to 12 yr old girls who only like pop xd
x x howso
Favorite song still 💖
I for one love all of BMTH from Suicide Season to Sempiternal to That's The Spirit, and I know for a fact that there are people who agree with me.
I could make it December every day
But you are so blind
It might as well be May
Fucking love that line!
Benjamin Caba Lolwut? More then half of their shitty songs are about girls, if not all.
That comment is so biased and bullshit ridden that I choose not to respond to it.
I totally agree with you. All these fake fans think that BMTH'S old stuff is shit cause they can't handle things this heavy. Like piss back to black veil brides which is obviously "real" metal
Mamma mia ho ancora i brividi dopo tanti anni.. La perfezione!
We all miss it. :(
