Those that knew who he was, and also knew how he and the band Sleeping With Sirens meant to my life, knew that I owe a great amount of my actual life to them. I still battle with 24/7 thoughts of suicide (even in my nightmares and night terrors), at the same time, his words meant a knew way of looking at life. How I was deeply indebted to the help of his and the bands words to tell me that there will always be someone that will love me, even when I wasn't able to love myself. I'm not trying to be on my own soapbox, I just have to say that..... Thank you for being there when I couldn't express it to anyone (even myself) that I was deeply struggling. My mask never came off until I actually met my now husband, and even when we were basically strangers, he helped me stop myself from committing suicide that day we met. Hi! My name is Jalen. I wanted to write y'all an appreciation letter. I'm sure you get thousands of letters and emails talking about how your music has saved someone's life. While that's true for me- your music helped me through some really rough times - it's also been there for all of the best times of my life. I can genuinely say that because of Sleeping With Sirens, I get to marry my best friend on 2/26/24. Really. Maybe it sounds ridiculous, but it's true. The first night we hung out, a friend introduced us. She didn't listen to much rock music, so while she was with us, I skipped through a lot of my playlist. When I dropped her off, I immediately looked to Mark, my (now) fiancé, and said, "I'm sorry if you don't listen to this kind of music, but I love this song" and cranked up the volume on the song If You Can't Hang. I will never forget the look of shock on his face - I thought he was going to tell me to turn it off- but then he proceeded to say, "You listen to Sleeping With Sirens? They're my favorite band!"
From then on, we've basically been inseparable. We became best friends immediately and started dating pretty soon after that. In the course of our relationship, I think we've seen yall live 3 times! And we even met once - it was July 2019 in Phoenix, AZ at a signing, but i know yall also met thousands of other crying fans that day, so i probably blended in with the mix. It was bad. I really broke down sobbing after yall signed my poster. I so desperately wanted to tell you guys that you're the reason i met the love of my life, but I was crying so hard I couldn't even get words out. It was so quick, but it meant so much to me.
Music and concerts play a huge role in our relationship. It's awesome because now I have a built-in concert buddy! We even debated getting married at the courthouse, so we could use the extra money to go to concerts!
We're really big fans of you guys. Every time I've heard you play James Dean and Audrey Hepburn live, I just sobbed my eyes out. If we're being honest, every time it plays on my phone, I cry too. It's kind of embarrassing at this point - joking. It just really means so much to me and Mark. I wish there was such a thing as personal concerts - I would probably explode from all the excitement.
It really is the perfect song song for our relationship. "I can't promise that things won't be broken, but I swear that I will never leave" is probably even going to be written into my vows. I'm genuinely happy to have it included in our wedding in any/every way.

I literally quoted this song in my wedding vows, starting with... "By the beautiful words of Kellin Quinn..." Those that knew who he was, and also knew how he and the band Sleeping With Sirens meant to my life, knew that I owe a great amount of my actual life to them. I still battle with 24/7 thoughts of suicide (even in my nightmares and night terrors), at the same time, his words meant a knew way of looking at life. How I was deeply indebted to the help of his and the bands words to tell me that there will always be someone that will love me, even when I wasn't able to love myself. I'm not trying to be on my own soapbox, I just have to say that..... Thank you for being there when I couldn't express it to anyone (even myself) that I was deeply struggling. My mask never came off until I actually met my now husband, and even when we were basically strangers, he helped me stop myself from committing suicide that day we met. am i the only one who’s sad that they’re not like this anymore? like, i get that bands have to change to stay relevant but also Sleeping With Sirens were unique, like the guitars and everything were just basic emo stuff but Kellin’s voice added something to it that no other band has and i really loved it, with this said, How it Feels to be Lost is cool af but it isn’t the same honestly. The thing i said here also applies to Bring Me The Horizon and Pierce the Veil :)
I know what you mean, ofc it's kind of sad to see how bands change, especially when the change isn't that good (gossip) but it's also kinda interesting because you can see how the whole band grows and changes too! And how it feels to be lost is great and at least closer to their older music than madness and gossip (even though I love madness)

Kellin has a high vocal range, and it isn't his fault. You shouldn't make fun of something that a person can't change. I think Kellin sounds fine, and it's rare for his vocals to go that high. It's unique, and that's what I like about him. It's my opinion, and if you don't like it, simply don't reply and keep it to yourself. I am tired of the amount of disrespect in every Sleeping with Sirens video. I know there will always be people hating, but stop. Most of his songs about his broken home and people who have broken his heart. Listen to the songs meaning, then you may judge. Who cares if his voice is different? The lyrics count, only. I love Kellin Quinn Bostwick and all the other band members. They deserve the same equal amount of respect.
