Just wanted to throw a comment in here really quick. I apologize for the 3 1/2 week gap between our last video and this one. I really don't have an excuse for this, nor a legitimate reason for this. I've just been really demotivated lately, but thankfully, that feeling is starting to subside, and I have lots of new ideas for content going forward. My goal moving forward from this point on is to have at LEAST 2 videos go up per week, every week. This allows me to get a video done, and for Michael to get a video done, and also allow for us to comfortably work on other projects that accelerate our own careers and desires. Also, we're only 10,000 subscribers away from hitting 3,000,000!!! So once I render the next video that I'm personally working on right now, I'll be working on a 3,000,000 subscriber milestone video as well! In the mean time, also note that a BRAND new, original animated Minecraft Music Video will be released on August 24th, so DEFINITELY be sure you're around for that! Thanks for bearing with me!

I still remember me and my friend playing multiplayer crafting the Nether Reactor and wondered what the heck this was. Then, we found out that we had to build something around it and then activate it by touching it. Suddenly, it created something unthinkably high out of Netherrack. We were just staring at it like an UFO had landed. Good memories!
What about rubies? They were originally meant to be used for villager trades before emeralds and could also be used to make armor stronger than diamond
I heard that when diamonds were first added to Minecraft, they were emeralds instead so... there's still hope for rubies, maybe, considering that actual emeralds were added later? And also, what about roses?

I would really love the nether reactor core back, that was my favorite thing to show to my little cousins and family members. They would always freak out and ask how I obtained netherack, and glowstone. It was kinda funny to impress them. But I also really loved the fact that you would have to fight for your loot, that aspect made it so much more fun and memorable.

There is an "addon" (well it requires it's own map to work) for MCBE which attempts to revive the Nether Reactor. It's quite tricky to activate (in fact, I'm totally unable to do it anymore, even tho I'm sure I'm doing it correctly) and it doesn't look perfect (unless it got updated, my knowledge is limited to the first and I fear, the only version). The same guy made an Ender Reactor too.

in pocket edition, I made a dirt house and built the reactor on top of my house so giving it a huge addition, it looked really cool and i made a glowstone chandelier in it

Fun fact, the stonecutter was added to pocket edition since the crafting system they used back then was incapable of handling enough recipes, so some of them were placed into the stonecutter instead. However, they improved the crafting system, and eventually removed the block.

Anyone remember when the nether reactor spawned an obsidian tower rather than a netherack one? I made an obsidian castle in my old pe world with the obsidian.
I remember using the reactor for the first time. It was crazy for me. It's insane how much the game has changed, and somehow I still love back when I first used the reactor. And look at it fondly. But I know that where we are heading with the game is so much better than anything I could've imagined then.
Oh man, the nether reactor, that’s nostalgic! I always wanted to build one but you couldn’t activate it in creative and I could never find the resources in survival, but I used it all the time in my creative builds and a lot of worlds on my old iPad still contain them! I only ever activated one in survival, on my main singleplayer PE world with my siblings which is also still on my old iPad, and it was awesome, it opened a huge netherrack spire on an island which turned partially into obsidian after the reactor ended, and is still there on that world as a remnant of a bygone era
Speaking of crying obsidians and other removed blocks, crying obsidian and some other removed blocks were added back. Crying obsidian was added back as a useful change for 1.16 nether update. For making respawn anchors and found by piglins with trading

6:24 Aha! I always used to put the original stone cutter in houses and actualy since it got removed and I still have those worlds I still have that item in the normal version of pocket addition and it works haha
I also had the original reactor core too on those worlds but these were a long time before so I sadly no longer have that tablet I used to place the reactor core. (I've played minecraft since it came out)

in pocket edition, I made a dirt house and built the reactor on top of my house so giving it a huge addition, it looked really cool and i made a glowstone chandelier in it

I remember PE and I remember both of the blocks, although I had no idea what they did, I wondered why they weren’t on pc
Fun fact, the stonecutter was added to pocket edition since the crafting system they used back then was incapable of handling enough recipes, so some of them were placed into the stonecutter instead. However, they improved the crafting system, and eventually removed the block.
It still exists, but it's just a decor block now

Anyone remember when the nether reactor spawned an obsidian tower rather than a netherack one? I made an obsidian castle in my old pe world with the obsidian.

I still have some blocks in my old worlds on my tablat. I litterly made boxes from the blocks because i cant build a hous.
I remember using the reactor for the first time. It was crazy for me. It's insane how much the game has changed, and somehow I still love back when I first used the reactor. And look at it fondly. But I know that where we are heading with the game is so much better than anything I could've imagined then.

Oh man, the nether reactor, that’s nostalgic! I always wanted to build one but you couldn’t activate it in creative and I could never find the resources in survival, but I used it all the time in my creative builds and a lot of worlds on my old iPad still contain them! I only ever activated one in survival, on my main singleplayer PE world with my siblings which is also still on my old iPad, and it was awesome, it opened a huge netherrack spire on an island which turned partially into obsidian after the reactor ended, and is still there on that world as a remnant of a bygone era
Imagine if the reactor core came back,they gave me so many memories playing minecraft with my friends,messing about with them.
Speaking of crying obsidians and other removed blocks, crying obsidian and some other removed blocks were added back. Crying obsidian was added back as a useful change for 1.16 nether update. For making respawn anchors and found by piglins with trading

The nether reactor core used to be my favourite block in Minecraft when I was a kid I wish they would add it back in creative mode or maybe give it another use
