The dating and ghosting part hits close to home. It's actual a lot common in internet dating. That's why it's best to keep your expectations low and be ready for things to be over without warning, especially if you guys don't have any label yet.
That’s awful. It must be a more modern problem. I’d never heard of this before. Breakup conversations are not fun but c’mon. Just walk away and say nothing? By the time I realized a guy was a total sleaze, he had already moved in and I’m trapped. Lol.
Saracen IS a vampire in the comics. He was introduced in Blade. I wondered why the guy from the Wrecking Crew didn’t mention to Jen that they were supposed to steal her blood. Seemed odd Also I got a little emotional when Jen was talking about someone liking her for her. This show can get me some times.
I felt really bad for her. The nuance is that not only is everyone paying attention to her as She-Hulk, there are a lot of people around who want to use her for it as well.
I just love the fact that Emil seems to be what he said he was going to do, hosting a retreat. And even more, it's a retreat for minor-league supes. So he's doing the same thing "spiritually" that her department does for them legally.
Pretty good character writing this episode. Kind of reminds me of some episodes of Community like Mixology Certification where the comedy is still there but lighter and the focus is more on a character reaching a cathartic moment or epiphany
AntiSJWs/AntiWoke Mob: WHY IS THIS SHOW TELLING US ALL MEN ARE MONSTERS! This episode literally had a group of men being for Jennifer and helping her in time of need, Jennifer's dad is great and so is Pugg. Most of the MCU villains are actual men too, so oh NOoo! XD
Please don't say this to them! Jen's that one line from episode 1 will be thrown in your face without all the context from the episode, and I have had f*cking arguments about it with friends and strangers alike, and seems like they only want to see the bad men, and not talk about all the good ones at all.
@@kvm6 For them, it’s not even really about the men, it’s about “how dare a Woman compare her personal situation to a man we like”. It’s just ridiculous right? Those same people gave Stark and Strange a free pass for being self-centered, know it all, narcissistic jerks and then when Jen behaves just a little insensitively, they come down on her as totally unlikeable. What’s different about Jen that doesn’t get her the same free pass? Same thing that different about Captain Marvel.
literally gasped and has the same reaction when he took a pic of Jen sleeping. That's an irl problem too and I never thought they'd touch something like revenge porn.
I love this series like a green tea cheese cake and enjoy it with or without the cherry. I feel really weird some people dislike the cake so much force themselves to finish the cake just for a tiny piece of cheery.
Yeah this episode was really relatable, I do the same thing when I feel I found a connection with someone and it suddenly doesnt work out. I start feeling like im not good enough or I did something wrong or I wasnt pretty enough, it kinda gets to you. One of the easy going episodes, but I kinda understod why they took so long to get to this point, a lot of people may find it boring but the comics were sorta like this like quick stories then off to the next thing....so I like how they kinda stayed true to the style of it, even tho they changed a few things. When I first saw the 2 episodes I understood what they were doing, what kind of format, and I do enjoy the show a lot myself. And I wrote this on another video that someone asked about the needle, If she took a hit from Titania like it was nothing in her Jen form, if she was in a deeeeeep sleep I can see how she didnt feel the needle. Cause I had shit happen to me while I was asleep and I didnt realize it was happening...so yeah its a possibility.
I want to know who the “Hulk King” is... If it is Hulkling.... 😳 And the guy in group who “thought he was a vampire “, actually IS a vampire. He’s from the comics. And Jen wouldn’t have noticed the needle bc he would be able to use a regular needle on Jen because she just had Jen skin at that moment, not the impenetrable Hulk skin. Remember in the 1st ep Hulk made the point that she’s “just Jen” when she sleeps.. so that’s HOW he got a needle in her without her waking up/noticing. . Regular Jen skin = Regular (small) needle
Remember, the Hulk was able to draw blood from Jen in the 1st ep without her waking up.. so Josh doing it successfully is not unprecedented, as Hulk did it as well way back in the 1st episode. 🤷🏼♀️ 💉 🛌 🩸🦠🧪
You know the sad thing is as sson as "Josh" showed an interest in her, I felt he was up to no good and I was right. And the support group with all those guys telling Jenn that she is just as good as She Hulk? So sweet!
The thing is, we are at the edge of our seats waiting for something fire to happen and then it doesn't. I was terrified when She Hulk transformed back to Jen, I thought everyone including Emil is going to attack her with syringes or something. Even someone who does not watch MCU movies would be waiting for an action sequence but they would be less disappointed because action is the only thing they are waiting for. The next two episodes are definitely going to be fire.
She was Jen the entire time up until that point. They had the opportunity plenty of times to trick her, if that was actually their plan, but it wasn't.
Depending on you count this is the third or fourth time mention vampires the first was in Thor ragnorak the second would be loki Unless you count blade himself talking at the end of eternals.
i think i heard somewhere that The Leader from the original MCU Hulk movie was supposed to show up at some point in this series to set himself up to appear in a future MCU movie.
I had the same reactions as you throughout this episode. I wanted so much for Jen to find a great guy and made all the same excuses for him afterward. This was far too relatable. I'm heartbroken.
You know what bugged me about this episode? She-Hulk can jump the length of about 4 football fields (with an apex of about 600 feet). She can cover a mile ever 4-5 leaps. She could have bounded out of there hulk style. She was never stranded. But then I have to remind myself - she really is a novice at the whole Hulk thing. What's it been, a few of months since she got her powers? She probably mostly thinks like a regular person and it just never occurred to her. Still, not the best episode of the season, but not bad either. I'm with you, it kind of sits alone (like someone sweating in a yurt). LOL
I really hope that wasn't Josh. The show made a point in episode 3 that light elfs can shapeshift. Someone could have kidnapped Josh and a light elf pretended to be Josh to get her blood.
I most definitely felt that maybe Josh stayed behind and made breakfast for her or was possibly kidnapped after their sexy time. But, of course, it was still in the back of my mind that he was using Jen.
At first I thought that Josh was the HulkKing, but it turns out that he was texting _to_ HulkKing. I still think General "Thunderbolt" Ross could be considered as a suspect 🤨🤔. He hounded Bruce for a long time, wanted to weaponize the Hulk/The Hulk's blood, but his plans got derailed when he gave Emil Blonsky that imperfect/incomplete Super Soldier Serum and, mixed with Bruce's blood, created "an abomination" as Samuel Sterns put it 🤔. The Abomination vs The Hulk incident in Harlem most likely canceled out any of his opportunities/chances of him getting to do that, but, Jennifer Walters becoming She-Hulk gave the opportunistic vermin another chance cause more problems 🤨😓, and *_all of a sudden_* be the _"solution"_ a faker, a phony, an utter fraud 😠😡.
@Omn1Media, 18:04 you don't find this episode to be too good to be true? ...like Josh? Hulk King is very likely Emil, the man who tried to dominate Hulk in Incredible Hulk. How is that Emil is able to be a completely different person, despite the fact that Doctor Abraham Erskine's serum making people more of what they already are. Johann Schmidt didn't change. Steve Rogers didn't change. Isaiah Bradely didn't change--he had many reasons too, but didn't change. John Walker, he went over the edge, but he didn't change. So why is Emil the only one completely different from the person he was before and after the serum? It doesn't make any sense or does it? Emil was the best of the best, wasn't he. He was a highly decorated special operations military commando. He was known for being the guy who always got things done and was eagerly taking on challenges. Eric Stevens, Killmonger, and Emil were trained to do similar things stabilize or destabilize governments. Doctor Abraham Erskine's serum should be dialing up things up to eleven in Emil, and to be honest I think we're seeing it happen right before our eyes, as I think Emil's been putting on a show since the beginning. Blending in, and making people see what they want to see, is part of his former job. His compound is a front, masking what he's really doing, I think. What that is is anyone's guess. I'm not sold on him being nefarious, but I do think he's using both Intelligencia and Jen. Intelligencia is full of expendable She-Hulk hating men he can get to do his bidding, and the Internet allows him to do so in secrecy. His lack of wi-fi is also cover designed to keep us from thinking he's the Hulk King. Hulk King is such a fitting name for the person who wanted to dominate the Hulk, lol. Sort of sounds like Emil, never really got over that, lol. Why would he want Jen's blood, though? Because Jen's able to filter gamma radiation better than Bruce and Emil, and let's face it, Emil got the worst of it. Bruce at least looks like a bigger, beefier version of himself. How did Emil's parole officer refer to him? "A 10' tall lizard monster?" Jen's blood cured Bruce's arm. What could it do for Emil's mutation? Bruce worried about someone getting their blood to make more Hulks. Emil doesn't need Jen's blood for that because he's a Hulk. He could use his own blood to make more Hulks if that's what he wanted to do. I think he just wants to make himself look more normal, but I guess we'll see soon enough. Why was Jen at the compound? It wasn't to erase Josh's contact info was it? Josh likely isn't a real person and his contact info likely doesn't lead to a real address, at least not his real one, anyway. I think part of it is to keep Jen from thinking he's behind it, but possibly also to help her deal with the emotional trauma he's possibly putting her through. This does sound weird to me in my head as I say this, but I don't think Jen would have just given him her blood if he asked, so he was always going to have to take it from her. Anyway, I think this is all Emil's doing. We're seven stories in of a nine part story. Emil's the only person smart enough, that we know, to pull this off. Todd is too goofy to be the brains behind this, though I do think he's the lead scientist working for Emil and I do think he's responsible for Man-Bull, and very likely Titania too. Doctor Doom isn't in the MCU, so someone else had to have given her her powers. Can't wait to see how this all unfolds.
Dont know why but i feel like theres a bit more to Josh then we know. Feel like theres going to another kind of twist with him. Edit: I would also like to say that i wouldnt be against a Blonsky's Farm spin off show.
Someone explain to me how he was able to take blood from Jen without her waking up 🤣 that needle from the last episode was big asf . We seen regular bruce cut his arm getting out of that car but she can take that big needle and feel nothing 🤦🏽♂️ and don’t get me started on how she’s winning best lawyer award 😂
She won because of the major hype of there being a Hulk lawyer bud. Don’t you know how awards work in real life😂 It’s all about the hype, people that do good acting roles in real life lose to people that didn’t do a good job 🤣😂
