Awesome content! Well organized and explained. Helped me do my transmission so much faster. I have the 1.8L model, but mostly similar steps.

Hi Dylan thanks for the comment! Please take a moment to subscribe, thanks for the support! Also, about 2 months ago I solved the axle seal issue! I worked with a 3-D printer guy off ebay and sent him all the info I collected on the OEM Dealer tool and he made one that worked super easy! No more leaks and the tool is cheap! www.ebay.com/itm/126331834791

A specialized seal puller tool is as awesome as the slide hammer. Takes seals out in 90 seconds. I mean, hopefully you never have to do it again, but if you do. Seal puller is the GOAT

This is an excellent comment, thanks for making it! Please take a moment to subscribe, I appreciate the support! So in the vid, I am using a specialized seal puller by Lisle here: amzn.to/3WpXp6u BUT I made a massive upgrade getting something more heavy duty and when I re-did the axle seal and did the front crank seal it was much easier to use this Lisle puller instead: amzn.to/49Y1OAt

Hey Johnson family good to see ya around, I appreciate the kind words as always! Took me a little longer than I wanted to get it on the road but I like to make sure I do all the small maintenance side-jobs while I am this deep in there haha. We've since put just under 300 miles on it already though, can't give it hell yet bc clutch is still being broke-in but it definitely feels super sporty for what it is! Unfortunately EXEDY says you need 750 miles before broken in so no real fun for a little bit haha. It's been off the road for a few weeks now though because of the weather, got a bunch of snow but once that's gone I got another couple days or so of work left! Gotta knock out the new waterpump/flush coolant for proper type and I got stuff like new timing tensioner (they all have oil leaks here), new valve cover gasket set, TWO sets of new VVTI lift bolts, new serpentine belt, new spark plugs, even got new coated rotors and EBC yellow brakes, new motul high performance fluid so I need to flush clutch and all brake lines, the list goes on and on lol but I have been plugging along!
