I have to say I'm 73 yrs old and have a lot of experience soldering but your skills are better than mine. Excellent work fixing those boards.

solder newbie here, by far.... I have a Samsung tv which has the exact same problem you are fixing in this video... Again, I am a newbie but want to work on this... Did you use leaded or lead free solder, and any other properties of the solder you used that you can share would be most helpful !!! And on any of the other supplies you used .... Thanks !!!!!

      We use leaded solder.
      This is what we use:

Mine had those exact same bad pins. Re soldered and the TV still won't power on. The red light flashes 6 times. Do you think component board next? Led on tcon board lights green for a long pause then it flashes green once. Then back to solid green for a minute

There are only 2 circuit boards that commonly go bad in these sets. The power supply board and the mainboard. I would suggest you send us an email directly or fill out the contact form on our website and provide us the following info.
      1) What symptoms were you originally experiencing with the TV
      2) I know you just provided it here but provide the new symptoms again post repair and make sure to clairify the difference between the before and after.
      3) Have you replaced any other parts
Either the power supply has more damage that need to be fixed or the mainboard is also bad and needs to be fixed. We do fix both those boards and have flat rate repairs, we do share in this video the common fault we see but sometimes there is more damage that requires more advanced repairs.
