Hi, whats the vent tube attached on the top of the transparent water sensor? I have water coming out from that hole and I do not have the vent tube installed. The guy who installed it few months ago says you dont need it. Apparently water is leaking from that hole everytime I turn the ac on. I cant find the guy who installs it anymore 😢

Thanks for your comment. The vent tube attached to the clear water sensor (top of reservoir) acts like a breather hose. It's required, when the water sensor is placed / installed into a horizontal position (like you see in this short video). However, this vent tube isn't required when installed vertically. If you feel confident enough in removing the front cover of your heat pump, it's pretty easy to check and install a vent tube if your installation so requires it. Also, while the cover is off, good idea to check and make sure that the filter in the reservoir is free from any debris.

    What's the pump noise like?

@@cbrauchli Very quiet 🤫 when pumping. When the cover is on the indoor unit I cannot tell when it's pumping. My favourite mini-split pump for sure when you have the room for it. Customer also well happy with it.

@@CapitalCoastHVAC that's great to hear. It would be great to have a video of it running if you can take one.
